If you check the options (hit the ... button) you can set the display Hz to 45 (half of the 90 Hz for the screen) and you can save battery life with minimal impact. I run 99% of the time at 45Hz mode.

I purchased a brand new 64gb lcd model on August 31st..waiting to be delivered tomorrow :)
I payed $377.00 with tax. I am sure oled is awesome but I am all about frugal spending 😅

What? the whole point of him getting a Deck is to not use Gamepass anymore.

Steam deck is a PC. He can install Windows and use GP on it. I'm just not sure why he would.
