That departure lounge looked like a motorway service station, and the food didn't look up to business class standard.

The first class on the new Boeing 777-300ER looks nice.
Very narrow seats for Business Class! I remember the first class seats on DC-8's were about 50% wider. ....

Good video, you showed the boarding, take off, food service etc and landing. Most videos of this type show take off and then give a boring view of the wing for most of the rest of the video.

From an American, the product look good when compared to the US flag carriers we have here stateside.

Swiss is a poor copy of the previous Swissair...It is own by Lufthansa after our Swiss state department for transportation considered to sell the "spare parts" of Swissair to the German Lufthansa. After checking many reports and flight review..I have booked my next travel business class on Lufthansa and Austrian airlines since Swiss looks miserable by their aircraft and also by the equipment.
+Chris D They will get in 2016 new 777-300 with a better cabin, but i think swiss is to expensiv for this cabin and this service, the asian airlines, have better cabins and better service and are cheaper. For example singapore airlines or Etihad or Qatar.
I think i disagree flew business class not long ago screen was huge and was great. I liked your video but you might have gotten an outdated flight! great video

Small-ass screen...
I traveled some times with Swiss in Business on A343 and A333 - I never liked it. The seats are to narrow and to hard. On some flights it was really toooo hot in the plane. In my opinion SWISS is meanwhile just LH with a small piece of (cheap) chocolate on top. If I can get Singapore or Cathay or even United, I'd avoid SWISS.

I had a flight from Zurich to San Francisco and I was not impressed.
They try to deliver good quality and high standards. But the plane was old, the food below my expectations, inflight entertainment with limited choice and the screen was tiny. I booked Swiss because I wanted to experience a nice flight, It was not and even worse than my United flight!
There is a lot of space for improvement!

With that distance, you do need business class seriously, you are going to suffer in flight.
Not here to piss all over Airbus but calling the CFM56 engines on the A340-300 powerful, is like calling the Citroen 2cv a fast car :D

In summary: the entertainment system (with very small personal screens) is disappointing, the seat is very uncomfortable in the lie flat position, and they ran out of food options immediately after take-off. But it's still much better than cattle class of course!
I am waiting for Swiss' new B777s as well, and I hope they will upgrade their Business Class product and offer a brilliant experience!

I understand your preferences however, you have to consider that all of these middle eastern airlines are using "slaves" at their home base (indian, philipino, african aso) to make their system work and provide cheap fare and a great service with brand new planes. Give European Airlines the right to use refugees to fulfill jobs for no money or a 10 Euro pay a day ...(I m generous). And we certainly will get a great service brand new aircraft and cheap fare.

looks awful nothing compared to asian and middle eastern carriers
Megat Mudzaffar Austrian Airlines - like SWISS also part of the Lufthansa group - has a similar business class product but it is much better: cabin looks fresher, seats more comfortable, bigger entertainment screens, and better food.
