Want to know how this run works? Unsure how I won three Meteor B. Dragons so quickly, and how I was sure I'd win them? Watch this video to understand how RNG manipulation works:

In a nutshell, all I do to win the Meteor B. Dragons is press buttons at the right times. Simply put, if you enter a duel at a specific time, you can predict and repeat the outcome of that duel. So if I enter a duel on, say, frame 100, I will always get the same opening hand every time. Because of that, I can also win the same card every time. That's how I won those MBD. I did research and figured out that I'd win MBD if I entered a duel against Heishin at a specific frame and played the duel out in a specific way. That's it. I didn't alter the game in ANY way. The game is operating exactly as it does when you play it. If you turn on your console or emulator right now and start a duel against Heishin, with the same deck as me, and you start the duel on the same frame as I did, guess what? You'll get the same exact duel I did and you'll win MBD just like I did. It isn't a glitch. It isn't an exploit. It's not even manipulating the game to do something it normally doesn't. All it does is remove the randomness thanks to research. This is not cheating, even though a few very uninformed souls think it is. If you want to learn exactly how it works, watch that video I posted above. Until you've done that, your opinion on whether or not this is "cheating" is invalid.
Keep in mind, the RNG manipulation I do in this run is FAR more difficult to pull off than it is to just play the game normally. So if you're thinking "Oh, he uses manipulation, well that's no fun." rethink that. In order to land on the right frame to get the right duel to win those MBD, I have to enter the duel with the accuracy of 1/60th of a second. That's just for one MBD. I need 3. So, I had to press the X button with the accuracy of 1/60th of a second, three times in a row. If you think that's not "worthy" of a speedrun and you'd rather it just be all luck, then go watch someone do it that way lmao.
What a roller coaster of a run! The beginning of this run was INCREDIBLE. The beginning of this run took advantage of a new strategy that allows me to get the 2nd MBD about 1 minute faster than before. I managed to get all three MBDs in a row without any failures AND did so using the new strategy!
This run also employed my new Meadow Shrine Manipulation, which is just like the final 6 manipulation but done against Meadow Mage and Kepura. It is slower than doing the duels without manipulation and getting very good luck, but since that happens so so so rarely, it's worth it.
The final 6 in this run were the most interesting. Typically, you manipulate all 6 duels to win rather quickly. However, in this run, I failed the manipulation on duel 3 (Heishin 2nd). This meant I did the duels against Seto 3rd, DarkNite, and Nitemare WITHOUT RNG manipulation. Needless to say, luck was with me!

For those wondering, the other person in this video is my girlfriend of 7 years. We enjoy bantering back and forth like you saw in this video. Understand that it's all in good fun and is totally normal for us.

New sub and club member here! I used to play the crap out of this game with my buddy. He didnt have a memory card, for some reason. We could only get up to Mai 5 times and we lost every time.

Oh man, I watched one of the previous world record videos about a year and it was over 3 hours, this is ridiculously fast
leafbladie Yeah, things have changed quite a bit. But it's worth keeping in mind that runs that long still exist and still happen. People do still speedrun this game WITHOUT RNG manipulation (which is what you saw a year ago). The record without RNG manipulation is still 3:12. So think of this run as a fundamentally different speedrun than the ones you watched a year ago.
GFC_ just realized the video I watched previously was also yours. That moment with Seto 3rd where he set Wall Shadow instead of attacking you had my heart pounding in fear.

I'm 3 hours into his and he's only just beaten Kaiba, so to see you just destroy this game using the rng manip here is so much fun to see. Basically because people think he is cheating (don't know what RNG manipulation or graphical glitches are). And maybe there are fans of Cavera coming here now, but i don't know.
Edit: Aparently Cavera is sending his viewers to dislike, and hate on GFC's videos. His livestream last week had a lot of cavera's brazilian fans trying to speak english in the chat (thus giving birth to "nub man"), which was hillarious.

This game could have been really cool - the card combination mechanic was interesting. But no, they decided to put in some dumb shit OP cards like MBD that you can just play out like that, which instantly beats anything you could throw together via combos. God, why? Way to ruin a game...
