This game was so hard without any manipulations. Proper grindey game but really enjoyable at the time. Duelist of the roses was my favourite yugioh game though.
How do I actually manipulate de drop in this game? I'm tired of trying the legit way, I mean I beat once without manipulation but that was back like 4 years ago, now I'm playing it with a friend and the best drop we ever got is a 2200 atk dinosaur smh
@@JoseRodriguez-vj2rd you have to get S ranks on people that have a chance to drop it. Low meadow mage has the best drops. For equip cards like megamorph you have to S tec Pegasus. You get S tec by making him lose by running out of cards. Takes a long time

@@AKDHFR no, I didn't use Python in this run. I didn't use any programs or anything, just the normal, unmodified game itself. I /DID/ use a Python script to create the ROUTE/STRATEGIES for the speedrun. There's a Python script that basically simulates thousands of duels per second and tells me in a big spreadsheet exactly what card I'll win on each frame. When creating the route for this speedrun, I ran that simulation and figured out which frames have Meteor B. Dragon as a drop. Then I figured out how to hit that frame during speedruns, then I practiced it a lot, and then I performed it during the speedrun.
This brought back memories (pun intended) This was actually my first Yu-Gi-Oh related thing aside from a Moon Envoy card I got randomly Keep up the awesome work
Can someone explain how this guy got 3 meteor b dragons in the first 3 duels with heishin? what was the cheat he did? like he kept saying something about the fusions and sometimes attacked with the cinematic button... i never got anywhere near getting a card like that even after 200 duels thats just so impossible and he did in like 5 minutes what is the secret?

He waited for a specific set of frames to start the game on. This is called RNG Manipulation. Basically, the game's "randomness" is the same every time. If you do the exact same thing every time, you'll get the same results. People found that starting on that specific period of frames gives you the best starting deck. There's videos out there that go into more detail, but this is the gist of it.

Yeah it took me finally getting one from low meadow mage after like 75-100 duels. Then do the duplication trick with 3 memory cards, then grind out megamorph from Pegasus
@@calvinsimpson1301 im playing on epsxe but i guess its the same, im at 59 on meadow, most of them s rank and he just drops shit cards, i even take care of not failing any attack or any phase, getting at least one twin head at start, is hard with some okaish deck i made grinding Jono and May, both dropped me a lot off dragons and thunders.
Yeah, Seto 3rd has a VERY HIGH chance to play Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. It's very annoying. But he doesn't play it 100% of the time, so I got quite lucky here that he didn't!
That was a great run and glad you managed to set a record. I never knew there were those two final bosses as I never remember seeing them but boy howdy is this games rng screwed up lol. Glad to know some strats if I was to ever pick the game up again

Why wouldn’t you leave the MBD in attack mode face down and let the mages attack and lose their card instead of face up on attack? I’m no pro, I’m genuinely curious. Wouldn’t that help you pass the match faster?

Incredible man. Ive been playing this damn game for so long and there is always something to discover. Few questions : Who or how has been discover the "path" to get MDB ar duel 1? I mean that is not luck, but somebody found out the way to get it. Can u explain which is that "estrategy" tht u use to get MDB in first hands? I see , that some opponents dont even use their strongest cards. That strategy affects opponents? Eventhough I stopped playing this game, it still amazes me, and basically u are a scientist. I don’t know who discovered it but it’s RNG manipulation by frame. This isn’t the only game that does it. I play Pokémon and it has the same mechanic. If you land on the right frame, you will get the correct stats you want.
Damn this is fucking amazing. Congratz Edit: i used to have so bad luck that Pegasus always used MBD, and Isis used BSD. Not even talking about the final 6. Either Heishin2nd and Seto 3rd always always had BEUD.
Honestly I just watched this because I finally got the luck to beat Henshin 2nd after like a week and then the fucking Seto duel threw my off at which point it was just a whole lot of fuck it I guess I'm declaring this game done in my brain.
LMAO that actually was not intentional. See, I noticed through doing many runs that if I move as quickly as possible into Rex after MBD 3, I almost always get terrible draws and drops. So, lately, I've been moving as fast as possible to Rex, but right before the duel, I do a few random sorts of the deck in order to increase the frame/seed number a bunch very quickly. This basically gets me out of the "I always get terrible draws/drops" range that I want to avoid, and puts me somewhere new. I didn't know if it would give me something good or bad, just that it would give me something different. I know if I move as fast as possible, I draw shit and win shit. So, rather than have a 100% chance to get bad draws/drops, I'd rather advance the frame count to somewhere that I don't know what will happen, so at least I have a shot to get something good. It just so happened to work out quite well here LOL.
@@AKDHFR I'm not technically manipulating anything, it's just called rng manipulation. But all it really is, is starting a duel on the same frame every time, to get the same drop every time. The cards you win are set in stone already, depending on when you start the duel. So, just start the duel on the same frame, and you get the same drop.
Have no idea what you are talking about , but seems interesting. My buddy found out how to clone mblack dragons with 3 memory cards and file saves and copies. Ok i get it. Drop a card and make a fuse out of 3. Just have to complete certain movements. I get it now. Pretty smart, must have been hard to figure out

Yes there is. Start a new game over and over again, I promise you'll find starting decks with dragons. The French version and the US version is exactly the same code, other than language and a few visual differences. That's also true for every version of this game, every different language and region. All the same except for the language and small visual stuff.
@@cesarpacode6272 It's not a hack its learning how to trick the game. You see him counting and doing certain things which will make them drop it. Hacking would be him just loading it into his deck in which he would've just had a whole deck of them. Learn how the game works.
@@cesarpacode6272 RNG (Random Numeric Generators) It's like a patron that controls the game: the reward card , the cards of the rival, your cards etc. This speedrunner manipulates the RNG by time and reseting the game thats how gets some rare dragons... Same happens with pokemon games if you want a shiny pokemon you can control the RNG to obtain it 😁😁😁👍 i hope you can understand

Acxryl - NGL...the game isn’t very good. The difficulty curve is insane and a guide is pretty much required to beat it.

Manipulating RNG is a really hard stuff to do in order to surpass that random factor in those games, people used to do the same in Pokémon games.

I played yugioh several times it will not give you more than 2 dragon type and 2 lightning type. He already cheated on the first place or use cheats.

it's based on frames of the game. There are some combinations that allow you to get that card. You can find videos on youtube teaching how to get it.

That intentional RNG manipulation on campaign Rex, to get the crawling dragon number 2 LUL
LMAO that actually was not intentional.
See, I noticed through doing many runs that if I move as quickly as possible into Rex after MBD 3, I almost always get terrible draws and drops.
So, lately, I've been moving as fast as possible to Rex, but right before the duel, I do a few random sorts of the deck in order to increase the frame/seed number a bunch very quickly. This basically gets me out of the "I always get terrible draws/drops" range that I want to avoid, and puts me somewhere new. I didn't know if it would give me something good or bad, just that it would give me something different. I know if I move as fast as possible, I draw shit and win shit. So, rather than have a 100% chance to get bad draws/drops, I'd rather advance the frame count to somewhere that I don't know what will happen, so at least I have a shot to get something good.
It just so happened to work out quite well here LOL.

@@AKDHFR I'm not technically manipulating anything, it's just called rng manipulation. But all it really is, is starting a duel on the same frame every time, to get the same drop every time. The cards you win are set in stone already, depending on when you start the duel. So, just start the duel on the same frame, and you get the same drop.

Have no idea what you are talking about , but seems interesting. My buddy found out how to clone mblack dragons with 3 memory cards and file saves and copies. Ok i get it. Drop a card and make a fuse out of 3. Just have to complete certain movements. I get it now. Pretty smart, must have been hard to figure out

in France, the basic deck is different. We can't make Twin-head thunder dragon, because there is no dragon-type monster in the starter deck lol
Yes there is. Start a new game over and over again, I promise you'll find starting decks with dragons. The French version and the US version is exactly the same code, other than language and a few visual differences.
That's also true for every version of this game, every different language and region. All the same except for the language and small visual stuff.

@@cesarpacode6272 It's not a hack its learning how to trick the game. You see him counting and doing certain things which will make them drop it. Hacking would be him just loading it into his deck in which he would've just had a whole deck of them. Learn how the game works.
@@cesarpacode6272 RNG (Random Numeric Generators) It's like a patron that controls the game: the reward card , the cards of the rival, your cards etc. This speedrunner manipulates the RNG by time and reseting the game thats how gets some rare dragons... Same happens with pokemon games if you want a shiny pokemon you can control the RNG to obtain it 😁😁😁👍 i hope you can understand
