The candle is beautiful!! I love Candleberry in fact got an order today. I tried the Friendship Tea for the first time and it smells amazing. I too love the vanilla crumb cake! They have so many I love. Love the burn on these too❤️❤️

The Caribbean cheesecake sounds like a really Yummy one so does the Honey Buttered rolls but then the Vanilla crumb cake does too. Decisions Decisions... Lol Ill probably just start out with the vanilla crumb cake first and then one of the others and so on.. maybe include a few smaller candles or wax melts as well to get an idea of which one I want to order after the vanilla crumb cake. At first seeing the Carmel note in the vanilla crumb cake kind of scared me at first because I'm not a big Carmel person when it comes to candles especially if it's to much Carmel because it can get a little too sweet for me in candle form.. I know your not crazy about Carmel scents either so the vanilla crumb cake must be light on the Carmel.. I just reread the notes and it says a drizzle so that I can handle.lol Some candles I've had with Carmel can be way to sweet or cloying and I would give them away . Anyway I will certainly be ordering before the nights up. Thanks again.💗
Hi Melanie, I'm the one who asked you about the cookie jar style candles versus the Voluspa candles. I also ordered the cookie jar & like you also got the vanilla crumb cake, but when I received it yesterday it was completely broken, it's ok I emailed them & they are sending a new one. This candle is very strong, as soon as I open the box not even all the way it hit me in the face with this yummy scent. Can't wait to burn it.
What is Gladys last name? La Fontaine or Lunt Fontaine? 😊. Also I was so hoping that you were going to give is an overhead view. This candle looks amazing and the scent sounds so very nice! 😊. Mike
Melanie, I ordered the candleberry melts in vanilla crumb cake, frosted blueberry donuts, buttercream snickerdoodle, and harvest sugar cookie. On cold vanilla crumb cake was so light but I melted this one first and could barely smell anything at all and this was with 2 Scentsy 25 watt warmers going near each other. I was disappointed. Perhaps the candle is stronger. The other wax melts seem stronger than vanilla crumb cake on cold, especially harvest sugar cookie. I would be hesitant putting out more $$$$ for their candles. Your experience was quite different than mine. I will try the other melts to see if I would be more inclined to getting one of them in candle form. I do think cardboard boxes is a strange form to send wax melts in, it seems that the wax would be more prone to losing its oil potency. Perhaps the vanilla crumb cake wax melts I got were older.
The melts are one day and done for me. Also they are paraffin. They are just a way to smell the smells for me. I did not expect much based on the packaging. They may lose scent is sitting too long. The small candle I burned was decent for the size but this big lady here is a powerhouse. But honestly I wish this was the kringle soy formula. Overall though so far I am super pleased with the cookie jar and will def get another this Fall with a Fall scent.
You described the fragrance so well. Is it on par with Harry’s fragrance oils? While Homeworx may have issues with strength and throw, the oils are high quality.
I have to admit that my experience with Voluspa is not great in terms of overall performance. They have gorgeous packaging and lovely scents but they are very light in terms of strength and throw. Not that this necessarily stops me from buying them but I prefer their smaller candles for trying things out. And for the price I am not sure I am willing to risk it lol, unless there is a major sale. Have you tried the hearth candles?
I think the strength and throw are probably pretty similar. And they both seem to burn about the same quality wise (I've had a good experience with my Luxe candle). But I am getting way more burn time with the candleberry.
After seeing Gladys on the Chester hurricane base, I would be interested in seeing a side-by-side picture of the Candleberry Cookie Jar next to a Homeworx Luxe. I know the ounces of wax are twice as much in the Candleberry, but are the jar diameters the same? Maybe you could put a comparison photo on your Instagram?

I would say the oils in here are really nice. Authentic. Nothing smells fake in this one.
I think it would be great if you got a Voluspa hearth candle and compared scent throw and performance to this brand.
