    Hi Melanie, since they are one wick candles, they needs a bit time (help) to pull out. Since YC Illuma lid does not fit, I am using "inner" lid, which is basically metal lid that cover the top with inside rim, which holds the lid on the place and fit wider jars. I bought it on Aliexpress :-)

      The Illuma lids fit the large Candleberry jars and work well if pooling issues occur. I don’t use the small jars, so I can’t speak to that, but the huge cookie jar in Hot Maple Toddy is currently in a centerpiece arrangement on my kitchen table. It burns hot and fast and ALWAYS pools out quickly and evenly without any help…but most of all, it’s absolutely heavenly. We can smell it on all three floors when lit. I’m not a sickly sweet maple fan at all. No pancake scents for me please…but the citrus and subtle spice, along with the mysterious “toddy” element becomes the focus of this scent for me, and this is what I believe makes Hot Maple Toddy Candleberry’s number one seller. Not everyone is going to like it, of course, but there’s definitely a reason it has been their top seller for years and years.

      I actually just dug out an old dog illumalid I had from Yankee and plopped it on the last of the vanilla crumb cake. It actually fits quite nicely. I will keep using it and see if it works better than the foil. I'd rather use a lid lol!

    Hi Melanie! The SKU on mine have been perforated where it meets the label and have torn off easily without removing the whole label. Hope that helps! I'll have to add this one to my "try" list!
    Oh! And...I checked with Candleberry and Yankee Illumilids are safe to use on them! That helped my pooling alot!

      Thanks Alicia. The whole label came off mine super easily so I just peeled the whole thing off. MUCH better! And yes, I plopped an old Yankee illumalid on there today and hope I get some great results using that. I'd rather use that than foil.

      @@MrKongsMom Hi! Yaaaay! The labels aren't my favorite either so good to know it came right off! Thanks for telling me! I've loved being able to use my illumilids. Brings back good memories! Have a blessed night, Melanie!

    Can’t wait to hear the final thoughts on the cookie jar when you get it!! I’m going to give the brand another chance after hearing your review. Thanks 😊

    We definitely have the same smell for the same scents in candles that is what gravitated me towards your site. I love a great vanilla I just got the homeworks toasted vanilla cupcake and I absolutely love it. I have to admit I was a goose Creek buyer until I found homeworks and Kringle and now I cannot stand to burn their candles. I love a great vanilla any kind of bakery sense but absolutely no maple. I absolutely love your sites and I really take in your reviews. Thank you for your time and talents. 🥰

    I love the Candleberry and I do use the Yankee Illumilids on mine. They do not tunnel with those.

    I'm just not a fan of the jar shape either. They're pretty, but jars with a smaller neck tend to always have trouble pooling out well. It's also a pain to get the wax out to clean jar. I feel like I'm always having to search for vanillas without any caramel. On a side note, burning BBW mashup candle of Sugared Lemonade & Blueberry Sugar. OMG, so good. They did it right, and it throws so well.

    Candleberry is so sooty for me 😩

    • @MrKongsMom
      @MrKongsMom  Год назад

      Really?? Granted I have only burned this small one and the cookie jar, but neither has gotten sooty on me. I was fully expecting the cookie jar to do something funky but I'm a 1/4 of the way through it as of today and its performing pretty close to perfect. What scents did you try? What size? Maybe I need to try the large jars.

      @snowflakesonmytongue Год назад

      I’ve had small/large jars in Blueberry Donuts, Orange Creamsicle, Bourbon, Marshmallow something and some I can’t remember. I ended up putting them under the lamp or crock due to sooting :( my husband even commented on the amount of soot! And he has seen me burn Homeworx, BBW, Kringle, Yankee and Goose Creek. Hopefully it’s just me though and others have a good experience.
