It is pretty good. Not flawless but I would say pretty darn good. I wonder if I didn't burn it for hours a day if it would have a bit less of the discoloration even. I am probably maxing the wicks out each burn.

Melanie, I’m absolutely astounded at how quickly you’ve burned that cookie jar! The cookie jar I currently have (Hot Maple Toddy) has been in my kitchen for at least two years and I’m not even a third of the way through it yet! Granted, I only light it occasionally because I love it so much that I’d rather keep it as a centerpiece (with a decorative wreath around the base) than to empty it, so I usually burn my other large jars in the same scent instead so I can preserve the cookie jar.
You might want to try a small size of Honey Buttered Rolls when looking for your fall cookie jar scent. It’s absolutely divine! I personally like their Spiced Punkin Pie or Pumpkin Caramello scents much better than their Pumpkin Praline Waffles. Harvest Sugar Cookie is another good fall gourmand scent-basic but good. And regarding the ongoing Hot Maple Toddy discussion, I think I’ve realized why the maple element in this scent is not offensive to me--yes, there’s a sweet gourmand base, but there’s enough of a citrus and spice element in it which creates an absolutely enchanting blend that takes it over the top. It’s their number one seller for a reason. It’s very hard to describe, but it’s heavenly-and definitely not like pancakes! Looking forward to seeing which one you choose!
Well I am not burning it like a normal person haha. My intention was to burn burn burn to see how. many hours. But then screwed that up royally lol. I will try again in Fall with measuring the hours of burn time. Its smart not to burn it daily because you will get tired of the scent... I can attest to that lol. Luckily it's yummy so I am still happy to be smelling it. But I am ready for something new lol.

I have been burning it daily for hours. I don’t think there’s been one day I haven’t had it lit 🤣 And it’s me night I also had it going overnight 😬 obviously don’t do that. I was tired and passed out before making the last round of the night. It’s kind of an easy one to let go all day since it’s a fairly clean burn. I really think if there’s a scent you like, totally worth it.

I just ordered 3 of the large candles from them and the scents are nice but I’m just not getting a good scent throw from them for some reason. I got Hot Maple Toddy, Frosted Blueberry Donuts ( which is suppose to be one of their strongest candles), and the American Pie one. I’m not sure why the throw isn’t that strong but they are very slow burning

It's so good! It's one of those great blender candles. Goes with pretty much most other scents I tend to gravitate towards.
My first order with candleberry was 7- 26oz jar candles. I loved them all but really loved the Bamboo and linen candle so went back on the CB site and placed an order for the Cookie Jar 160oz Bamboo and linen candle. I just received mine yesterday it only took about 3 or 4 days after I ordered to receive it. anyway I lit it up after I received it let it burn for about 2 hrs last night then lit it back up today and it's been burning for about 2 hrs or so today so far . I'm trying not to let it burn over 3 to 4 hrs at a time. But so far I'm really enjoying it. It reminds me of BBW'S Fresh Bamboo 3 wick but just a tad bit softer. It's a powerhouse scent and has a fabulous throw. I will be ordering another one as well maybe another 2 or 3 lol because I would love to have the Hawaiian pineapple, the Caribbean cheesecake and the island coconut in the cookie jar as well... I may order the praline pecan waffles as my fall / winter scent. It's similar to BBW's pumpkin pecan waffles but maybe even a lil better. It's smells Fantastic! The 7 I ordered were the vanilla crumb cake, honey buttered rolls, cream cheese snickerdoodle, Hawaiian pineapple, Bamboo and linen, pumpkin praline waffles, and the dreamsicle cake pop.. Their all great. I'm glad I decided to venture out and try them because I usually only order from BBW, Homeworx and GC. I have the HW jumbo luxe in spun vanilla sugar also But I personally like the CB cookie jar better I will definitely be ordering again from CB. Even the 26oz jars. I really don't need anymore candles because I have a candle room full but their is a few more scents I want to try from CB along with ordering a few more cookie jar candles. Thanks for keeping us updated on your Cookie Jar CB Candle. BTW I got a 20% off code in my email this morning and they have a lot of new scents coming out for spring/summer. Oh yay! Yes, they are a powerhouse, aren't they? Their blends are pretty good for the most part. I had a few misses but the fruity more spring scents are delicious. Keep me updated on how yours burns. Limiting the burn to a reasonable amount of time will probably give you a cleaner burn than what I am getting.
@@MrKongsMom yes their definitely powerhouse throwers for sure. I have Harry's Spun vanilla sugar luxe candle as well but only burned it once so far. I've only had it about a month or so. As far as candleberry and their 26oz jars I ordered the first time around all the scents were fantastic especially the Hawaiian pineapple and the Pumpkin praline pecan.. Those 2 I definitely want in the cookie jar.. My fiancee told me earlier this morning if you want anymore of the large candles he was preferring to the cookie jar go ahead and order what you want. I told him I had already planned on ordering a few more. Lol
He's very supportive when it comes to my candle addiction and my health issues as well and of course doesn't care how many candles I have or order even though I really need to slow down on ordering candles for a bit because I have wayy to many and have already given several away to family members anyway He Actually just put up another 6ft shelving unit in my candle room this morning because I ran out of room on the other 6ft shelves in that room. I've tried to cut back on ordering but it's so hard. 🤦 I never thought leaving my nursing job due to health issues in 2021 would lead to a candle addiction. I would order off and on occasionally over the years or go into BBW and buy a few candles but never became addicted until having to leave my job so now I'm home 95% of the time. I do a lil work from home and have a candle or 2 going everyday whether burning or under one of my candle lamps but dearly miss working with people like I use to be able to. I went to school for cosmetology back in the day and had my own business at one point but my heart's always been in health care and helping people so I Ended up taking my nursing classes and that's what I had been doing for several years until 2021 when I unfortunately had to leave as I mentioned due to lots of health issues that have only gotten worse. Anyway sorry for the long comment I talk in my voice recorder alot and don't realize how long my comments or messages usually are. I will certainly keep you updated on how well my CB candle performs hopefully it continues to do well. . It hasn't been 2 full days yet but so far I love it. As I mentioned in my other comment if you like BBW'S pumpkin pecan waffles you will love CB Pumpkin praline waffles. Oh my gosh it's delicious! I broke the glass to my small chester (oh the rage lol. I wonder if you heard my scream that day haha!) but I kept the base and put a cloche over it. I placed it on the base and it took up the ENTIRE base. Not sure you could even get the glass over it. I would not do it. There will be zero airflow around the candle and it would probably get way too hot. The Homeworx MAY allow the glass to go over but again it would probably be a SUPER tight fit. I would not do it.
@@MrKongsMom Thank you! I was just going to use them on the pedestal only so the glass not fitting is fine. Why do we always break the things that we can’t replace!!!!

I am not burning it like I would a normal candle and burning it for hours every day is a good way to grow tired of a great scent lol. But I see the value in this for sure. I'm pissed about losing my paper with the hours on it. But I am thinking its probably more in the 400 range at most by the end.

I got the same cookie jar candle i love it, I'm going to most likely get a new one for fall also and maybe even summer lol. i also think im going to get the Voluspa Tahitian coconut vanilla 123oz candle this spring been dying to get that one for awhile now. ill let you know how it burns and throws
Please do update me on the Voluspa. I LOVE their Tahitian Coconut Vanilla. I have only had one of their smaller tin's in the scent. If it performs I would absolutely grab it in one of their larger sizes.
I know Keystone Candle has specialty cookie jar candles as well that I was always intrigued by…I would be curious to know how theirs performed in comparison to Candleberry. I saw a 2 gallon cookie jar on Keystone’s website and honestly couldn’t believe they made a candle that large!! 😅
Ok so I just looked them up and it looks like they mostly use paraffin which is going to be a hard pass for me. I really dislike paraffin wax. But that is an enormous candle. I will for sure recommend this company tho to people who are bummed about the Kringle paraffin wax going away.

Do the Luxe from Homeworx give off any soot?
A little bit so far. Probably about the same as this. I am just past the halfway point with my Spun Vanilla Sugar luxe. It started doing it at that point but not bad. Not enough for me to stop burning it.

I don't like their wax mouth either I have tried a few of them and they seem to smell like that cardboard, to me anyway I just get a scent of cardboard. And they don't melt great for me.

Yeah, I would not order the melts for melts sake to be perfectly honest. But it beats ordering a boat load of candles just to try the scents haha! I wish they had smell cards... or at least made votives. Votives would be awesome!
