- Let's check out this giant candle from Candleberry Cookie Jar. This candle is the actual size of my head 😳, which is large, so you know this candle is big (haha!). I am so excited to take you guys on this journey of testing whether this cookie jar candle is worth investing in or not. This candle is 160 ounces of wax and burns for between 400-800 hours, which is honestly kind of a wild range. But if it only burns for even 400 hours, I would count that as a huge success. I checked out Candleberry’s website after watching this video. I love a good lemongrass or lemon scent ( White Barn Limoncello is one of my faves). I was happy to find Candleberry had a Lemongrass Essential Oil scent so I bought the large jar candle & 2 small jar candles in Juicy Macintosh & Warm Apple Cider. On cold, I like the Macintosh & think I will like the Apple Cider. They arrived very quickly, within 2 days of ordering, wow! I’ve been burning the Lemongrass one consistently since it arrived. 🍋

So far so good! This thing pools out crazy fast for the size. I am super impressed and it's quite potent lol!
You should call the closed sort station for FedEx and complain about him. As a delivery drive, he is obligated to deliver to your door. By him doing what he is doing, he is violating company policies.

My FedEx guy fancies himself an NBA star. He gets out of the truck, but throws my packages onto the porch from the half-court. 🤦🏻♀️ I've discovered that in the app, you can elect a location hold, free of charge. If I have anything remotely breakable arriving, I have it delivered to a nearby package store. In a fit of passive aggression, the driver usually lets my stuff sit on the truck an extra day when I do that, but at least I get it in one piece!

Ugh FedEx is awful! Anytime I hear a package is coming from them I wanna cry.
My UPS guy is nice. He will walk up the driveway as many times as he has to.
So glad I’m not the only person who has no idea what team is playing in the Super Bowl. Sports is just not my thang. But, I will take advantage of everyone being hypnotized in front of the TV by a bunch of grown men running up and down a field and go to Wal Mart. For the past two years every time the SB comes on, I go to Wal Mart and it’s like a Ghost Town. Hehe, you basically have the Wal mart to yourself. I can’t wait 😃
Gladys is a perfect name for your candle. I’m looking forward to more post burn updates. Fed ex is awful. Whenever I hear they are delivering something for me I always start preparing for the worst. Had to chase down my fed ex driver down the block. He didn’t even knock on the door just stood for a second and drove off and said no one was home in the notes. He did this three days in a row and I was home all three days. I told him I have security cameras you weirdo. I can see you didn’t knock on the dang door. 😡 So yeah, I have a few bones to pick with Fed ex. Anyway, enough of that it is what it is. Thanks for sharing and keep us updated on Gladys. I had sooting issues with Candleberry so I stick to their wax melts. The next time you order, maybe try their Friendship Tea scent. It's a little like a orange pomander scent, and is the main reason I continue to buy from them.
Its so interesting that a number of people have now said that they experience sooting with candleberry but I am just not finding that. I wonder if its scent dependant? Admittedly I have only ever had the small jar and then this big thing.
I don't know if they still sell it but I remember circle E candles used to sell a huge candle in that same cookie jar. My aunt bought it a few times but I never asked her how she liked it or the performance.

I certainly am happy you are enjoying Candleberry. I tried a few things as a newbie to them and I either chose the wrong scents or my luck is off but all of it had a strange underlying scent. Very hard to explain, like they were old, musty. I was a little taken back that there isn't a person you can actually talk to for customer service, I requested a number to call for customer service by e-mail and was told I had to use the return/refund portal.
I know what you are talking about with certain scents. They smell almost like they have a country craft store vibe to them (that's how I would characterize it lol). I will say, the new fruitier scents I got in this round do not have that. The wax melts are also paraffin and I think that gives off a different note as well. But the candle smells really true to the name. No mustiness in the Vanilla Crumb Cake.
Thank you for the recyclable peanuts tip. A little water and down the drain they go . I cringe when I think of how many I've tossed into the trash. Well no more!
Also I followed up on your next tip about Kringle Sanctuary. It is delightful. Krringle is having a valentines sale and you bet your $ I took advantage of both wax melts and a medium jar.
Just make sure they are the biodegradable one's first. You can totally tell when you touch them. They are much more smooshy than the styrofoam one's that just float. I am going to be shopping with Kringle VERY shortly... new Reserve candles are coming! I wish we could have pre ordered but they are down a social media coordinator so we were not able to do that.

Can't wait to see the progress of Ms. La Fontaine!! Thank you for biting that cost bullet for us to review her. Maple Hot Toddy was the first scent I ever tried from them and it was really nice. It's been years, but I don't recall it being super cloying maple. They are most certainly on my retry list this year. Thanks for the reviews!!

They have Cranberry Crumb Cake in the cookie jar, good for fall. Here FedEx is awesome and UPS sucks big ones. Kringle does the best Blueberry Muffin.
I have that one in the melt and it smells so good! I could see getting that one in the Fall!

As far as my usual go tos, I would say HomeWorx, Kringle and Bath and Body Works. I am most familiar with those brands. But am branching out more this year.
