I remember listening to this when it came out, little happy ass pop punk loving me didn't know how deep these lyrics could connect. I've been through this exact situation and it's sad and it sucks. But life goes on, and sometimes the one you fall in love with is not meant to stay with you forever.

The begging sounds similar to steal my girl but that doesn't mean they STOLE it. Also if you're not a one direction fan, why do you care what they do or what music they put out. Ripping off someone's published work isn't like just stepping on someone's toes, it's more than just being an ethical offense. They own the rights to their music, not just in name, but in practice, and anyone who wants to use it has to go through the proper legal channels and cite the sample so that the originating artist gets royalties for their sales.
Simply taking a creative body of work and not crediting the originating artist is cheating them out of money that should belong to them. They essentially committed musical fraud. This wasn't about being disrespected, it was about literally being cheated
Both song intros sounds like Faithfully by Journey. If anything Hayley should know, being an artist/writer herself that a lot of songs are sampled and interpreted for other songs probably being the case for this NFG song and 1Ds song.

This song means more than the lyrics. My dad found me at 16. My older brother just committed suicide November 16th of 2021... When he says it's not your fault I feel that... I did everything bi could to stop it....just had my first baby. A son. Atlas Apollo. My brother never got to hold him.
This video got so deep in the last few seconds, it's not even funny. It changes the entire perspective showing a narrative written backwards but moving forwards. The last look on that girl's face I've seen too many times. She did it perfectly. I could say so much about this, but ultimately brought back to two simple words; It's genius.

I remember listening to this when it came out, little happy ass pop punk loving me didn't know how deep these lyrics could connect. I've been through this exact situation and it's sad and it sucks. But life goes on, and sometimes the one you fall in love with is not meant to stay with you forever.

It's called using the work of those who came before you as a baseline and building on it, One Direction found a beat and work on it, changed it A WHOLE BUNCH made it more up beat and gave it a whole new meaning and a whole new set of words. It's not unoriginality or plagiarism, it's something that has been around for AGES. It's called using a foundation to lay your building blocks. Take your panties out of your asses. It's similar at the beginning 20 seconds at most but after it changes an even then they aren't entirely the same.
