But having someone that explains the subject this well and doesn't drop you in the middle of a project, much like how the other courses do, is worth its weight in gold. @@HEADJNR Of course. The only extra stuff you learn in Uni is that, stuff like design patterns, Object oritented concepts and stuff like that, the actual language is much easier to learn online than in college for most people, that being said I prefer being in a real class. Another thing, the stuff I mentioned earlier, can also be learnt online, its just more difficult to figure out the path you should take and what exactly to learn since in Uni there are people to guide someone. But yeah, you can definitely do it, just talk to a few experts online, look up forums and stuff to first figure out your learning path, because to actually be good or even an average programmer, you have to know some other concepts apart from just the language it self. I am sure you can find those out with some good searching up online, Good luck

I'm always having a hard time trying to understand what my professor taught me after the class but this one is different, I can absorb this easier. Thanks!
Hi bro, Actually those teachers are trying to be more comfortable to you guys so that you can study and connect with them more comfortably.. I know they're boring and it gets more worse when they try to be frankly with us with their jokes but I think if we see the positive side of it then it will seem that atleast they are trying to be more friendly with you so that you can understand concepts well.. I'm not criticizing you brother I'm just saying what I've observed through my stand point.. Actually my father's too teacher so I can understand 😂😂 Have A Good Day:)
Mosh, this is so insanely helpful. I didn't know how to code WHATSOEVER before I watched this. My brother recommended me for this engineer position at his work that wasn't really full on coding, but more so needing to be able to read and find certain things in code. A lot of it was proprietary so they didn't need me to know anything beforehand except how to read HTML/CSS and how to read some Javascript. This not only improved my literacy to a point where I'm incredibly confident going into their technical interview, but now I can write and make my own basic little websites. I'm really excited that I've learned to do all this and thank you so much for making this tutorial!!!
@@_RiseAhead luckily its a very entry level position that mainly requires me to read html/css/c# and some Javascript too. A lot of what I change using my IDE is pre-written with a tool they teach us to use. This all said, I studied for about 6 weeks around 6-8 hours every day in preparation and I feel pretty comfortable doing the job.
I found this video insanely useful in catching myself back up to what I knew in high school. I feel confident I can move forward with more advanced lessons. Really appreciate this tutorial, it was exactly the right pace

You sir are a brilliant teacher. I'm a complete beginner in trying to understand this stuff and I've watched many videos. Every teacher on these videos has missed the mark but you have nailed it. You make this a million times easier to comprehend. Thank you!!
First time of 1.5 years of my subscription, I saw this HTML tutorial by Mosh😮
That's because it's been uploaded in 2021. (^^,)
@@s.akhtarjoomun263 hehe , hahahah, you got him with ur clever mind
Thanks Mosh! I'm doing self study and ended up hitting a wall due to depression and issues at work and didn't study for about 2 months and that made me feel so behind. But after watching this video as a refresher, I remember almost everything and even other useful things that I didn't know or could make my coding easier. Very well made, explained, and organized. I would recommend this video for people learning HTML or need to refresh their memory.
is that CSS in video Inline CSS?
@@hyllaf I think he is using the inline method to show the CSS stuff for the sake of the video, just to have it all on one page so people can understand which element is being targeted.
The perfect example of "no such thing as bad student, only bad teacher".
Thank you, Mosh
I just got my certification from meta for Fron End Developer and I especially like the advanced css and html topics. But I also enjoy watching other RUclips videos to gain extra knowledge or (a better knowledge and understanding) of a something. Your video series is so cool and easy to follow without having to travel to another place to gain extra knowledge. So I like urs as well. Excellent videos you make Mosh.
Pls send the link to do the certification course on meta... Tnx...
I just started my boot camp class two days ago. This video taught me so much more than my class. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this incredible video.
Hey buddy..
How’s it going? Did you end up using this new skill?
I am now 27 and I feel its too late for me to learn but I will try and start with this video. Hopefully 6 months or a year from now, I'll be in a better position in life than I am today.
How is it going?
As a beginner, this tutorial really helped me a lot to understand more about HTML and CSS. Thank you very much for sharing your awesome knowledge!

Don't get discouraged when you actually start programming :) it'll be a shock but it's not that hard

Hey Mosh, I just wanted to say thank you for creating such awesome programming videos! Your content is incredibly helpful and has helped me improve my coding skills so much. Keep up the great work!
I’ve been wading through Colt Steele’s Web Dev Bootcamp forever it seems. But for some reason I can’t get enough of Mosh’s courses. His teaching style is too good. He starts every lesson with the “why” 🖤🙏🏽
I learnt more about HTML & CSS in only 1 hour from this amazing dude than my Coding teacher in 2 months. Greatly appreaciated my guy.

I am absolutely floored by this tutorial. I was having so much trouble grasping the basic concept of coding and this is the perfect place to start. Thank you so much.
If my college teacher explained things like this way back when i would've known gone the front end dev route by now but nooooo.... he taught it to us in the most convoluted way that disinterested me! Amazing course. Thanks Mosh!
I literally started getting into web development yesterday. Perfect timing for this video.

I love it! This is amazing, during coding, I made an error that you didn't mention about, I managed to fix it on my own, and it felt so satisfying I cannot prevent myself from sharing this. This isn't much, but it's getting somewhere.
Who dares dislike this amazing content giving us knowledge like that for free??? I'm currently taking coursera courses for certification on this and i still need to watch this savior of a man to understand it better he is helping so many people out,if you see that bro just know we appreciate this
it's all about the way of explanation, you know I've seen a crapy course which let me hate scripting but your way is just phenomenal

@@JuZtRap Can I learn Software Engineering without any idea of computer science ? Though I have learnt how to touchtype computer
@@HEADJNR yes just do it,it will be worth it especially if you already know what your goal is and what you wanna create
@@HEADJNR Of course, you can learn anything if you have the motivation for it
@@HEADJNR Of course.
I am a complete newbie so you can imagine that I have sampled a few tutorial videos but this one is the best one so far. The introduction made everything else that followed so much easier to grasp. Thanks Mosh!

Thank you so much Mosh! I didn't know you're the one who I watched before in Angular when I was in my internship last year. Now I'm a fresh graduate from college re-watching your Java course as a refresher, and now this HTML realizing you're the same who taught me in Angular.
When the time comes that I'm already employed, for sure I'll still be watching your vids

Hi bro,
Actually those teachers are trying to be more comfortable to you guys so that you can study and connect with them more comfortably..
Actually my father's too teacher so I can understand 😂😂
Have A Good Day:)
Cool update. I got the job! Finished my first week.
@@TheKaratejesus congratulations!
@@Shuki.. thank you (:
@@TheKaratejesus how long did it take you? and did you learn html & css for the job or plus java as well?
@@_RiseAhead luckily its a very entry level position that mainly requires me to read html/css/c# and some Javascript too. A lot of what I change using my IDE is pre-written with a tool they teach us to use. This all said, I studied for about 6 weeks around 6-8 hours every day in preparation and I feel pretty comfortable doing the job.
I found this video insanely useful in catching myself back up to what I knew in high school. I feel confident I can move forward with more advanced lessons. Really appreciate this tutorial, it was exactly the right pace

Thank you so much for putting this crash course out for free. I'm in school learning all back-end Java type data structures and algorithms but they haven't taught us ANYTHING about front-end besides some old JavaFX type projects. This was exactly what I needed to get familiar with HTML and CSS and start to i guess... know what I don't know haha. Cheers!
