I love how descriptive the video is. Even after 4 years since it was posted, I am still able to get valuable information to help me in my web development journey. Thank you.
This is the only video I have watched that actually taught me anything! I’ve struggled through others and was becoming frustrated. There wasn’t enough bare-bones information. Mike has taught me in two hours what I have struggled to understand for a month! Thank you, Mike! I just subscribed.

I finished this course. thank you. for anyone reading this, I'd suggest making an experimental website. everything you learn from the video, put it in there. and use comments to tell what each tag does.
Honestly, this HTML course has taught me so much more than the courses I took in community college. I finished learning this HTML tutorial around the end of March and CSS Zero to Hero tutorial around the end of April. Next is to learn JavaScript, even though I still have still have some basic knowledge from using p5.js back in college, I want to go back I relearn it!
This helped soo much! You covered all the basics without any extra comments or anything in between. I have an exam tomorrow and you are a life saver! Thank you soo much for this one!!

After the HTML part, i'll be moving on to CSS and JavaScript +libraries&frameworks. It'll take time but success doesn't come easily, right? I wanna build creative and user-friendly web pages&apps :') After the hardwork, I know that I'll be thankful to my 25 year old self. Let's start this ''Never give up my friendo, sometimes you'll cry while coding but it's worth it and you'll nail it!'' journey :)

So I joined a bootcamp. And I've been learning to customize my in the element with CSS. I had no idea you can stylize elements *inside* their own HTML tags.
Yes, that's called in-line styling, but this is bad practice as 99% of devs use external styling because debugging is easier and, most importantly, it allows you to reuse CSS by just conveniently linking the CSS file to your HTML file. Your boot camp will cover this. All the best!
I've been watching a few tutorials but got lost. Thank you so much for simplifying this video. It's so elementary. Most of the other tutorials assume that you already have a background in HTML and already understand the terminology. I just subscribed and will be sharing with others who are struggling with HTML. You are truly a godsend.

Today (April 1st 2020) is my first day learning the skills of web development. By the end of this month, I hope to understand HTML, CSS, and have my feet wet in JavaScript. By the end of the year, I hope to have enough of a grasp on JavaScript that I can learn React. After React, I'll learn what I need to learn for the projects I'm working on. By this time next year (April 1st 2021), I hope to have the basic skills necessary to create projects for my friends, family, and local businesses. Then, I will freelance a bit. By January 2022, I hope to have the necessary skills, experience, and projects in my portfolio to land a full time job. Deep breathe in...and...release... Here we go.
I started watching this with no hope of success but literally 20 mins in the video and I already learned SO MUCH. I can't believe I've learned so much of HTML in just 2 hours of time. Thank you so much man, your a legend!
The most important thing about the “alt” tag is that it’s used by screen readers (what visually impaired people use for example) to describe the content to people who are not going to be able to see it.

It's been 10 months brother, hope you're still locked in.
I already learnt c and python language from you and now you are again with me teaching html . It is overwhelming to learn with you Mike, keep guiding us . Thankyou is not the word I could say to you , its beyond that.
I love how descriptive the video is. Even after 4 years since it was posted, I am still able to get valuable information to help me in my web development journey. Thank you.
I had literally no experience then I started watching this guys tutorials & it just opened up a new world for me thanks dude 🙏
This is the only video I have watched that actually taught me anything! I’ve struggled through others and was becoming frustrated. There wasn’t enough bare-bones information. Mike has taught me in two hours what I have struggled to understand for a month! Thank you, Mike! I just subscribed.
exactly like the others r gd and informative. but they assume we know everything from the back bone and forward it to the complicated stuff and im just sitting there listeng wondering when they'll start talking english bc thats not it

@@meka94 lmao, relatable.
I finished this course. thank you. for anyone reading this, I'd suggest making an experimental website. everything you learn from the video, put it in there. and use comments to tell what each tag does.
thank you, this is the first html tutorial I've seen where things were actually explained and not just written.
The way Mike explains it...
very true

Honestly, this HTML course has taught me so much more than the courses I took in community college. I finished learning this HTML tutorial around the end of March and CSS Zero to Hero tutorial around the end of April. Next is to learn JavaScript, even though I still have still have some basic knowledge from using p5.js back in college, I want to go back I relearn it!

Thank you for not being greedy and keeping this ad free
I’ll for sure support this channel
i paused the video to tell you that your tutorials are one of the best out there... i loved the one on python and this one seems so promising too five minutes into it! thank you!!!!!

Wow... Could you share the link to the Python tutorial with me please?? Thanks.
Here's my journey starts on 05.05.2023 to be a Front End Developer!
I feel so excited bc there're lots of things I gotta learn and it's a never-ending learning process!
After the HTML part, i'll be moving on to CSS and JavaScript +libraries&frameworks.
It'll take time but success doesn't come easily, right? I wanna build creative and user-friendly web pages&apps :')
After the hardwork, I know that I'll be thankful to my 25 year old self.
Let's start this ''Never give up my friendo, sometimes you'll cry while coding but it's worth it and you'll nail it!'' journey :)
i have also started to learn front end developing recently. wanna be coding friends? we can learn stuff together and motivate each other
I read that "never give up" as "never gonna give you up"
This channel probably has one of the best CS/coding resources you can find on the internet. Thank you for your existence
Happy teachers day to all my programming teachers! I could have never made such programs without you😀.

For two hours of watching your video i've learned a lot about web dev. Looks like i have finished my 1 semester . thanks a lot.

Here we go.
Yeo CK thanks dude! Just started learning React this week! :)
Where you right now with your project

The most important thing about the “alt” tag is that it’s used by screen readers (what visually impaired people use for example) to describe the content to people who are not going to be able to see it.
I want to thank you for helping me learn HTML. that time you spent is a blessing and a gift. I made my own website with the knowledge you have put on here. Thank you so much

I'm new to HTML and love your easy, simple way of explaining this complex subject. Thank you so much!
This needs a part two, this website is too basic and the way you explain is so good. Thanks a lot Mike
This tutorial teaches most of the essentials of HTML. What you should now focus on is CSS. It's going to take a good while to get comfortable with it through a lot of trial and error.
I have experienced more than 2 hours of your training...and am super impressed...you look too youg to teach...and even super young to teach so well....Greatt job...Looking forward to more courses from you... thanks....Ash

What do you think *deprecated* means? Something that's subsituted with something else that's more advanced so its use isn't recommended, however anyone can use it if they choose so.

Excellent video! This is exactly how I remember coding back in the day. I along with a few used to run a website for our H.S and it's still running today. We started it in the early 90s when the internet really started to boom and I loved it. Knowing your code is key to spotting errors. I used to use Front Page in Windows 95😂 to do the pages at night then upload them to the server in the morning before school. Brings back great memories ❤️.
