When I started to have contact with anything related to "Programming" or "Development" the first thing I learned was HTML, and even though I already knew it for a while now, I became more focused on languages and no longer on Web Development. But now I want to go back with PHP and your video was a great reviewer for me.
It’s worse for me For over a year I have had 2 teachers attempting to teach our class html Across that whole time the only thing I knew was how to open and close body and head elements Nothing else I still don’t know everything I need to know like I’m trying to link an external database to a site I’m making but I ain’t got no clue how to do it This did help tho

However, the primary reason for for italics and for bold being used now is that we are slowly moving to these tags as tag denotes the importance of the word where as tag simply brings attention to the word. On the face of it, bold gives similar results, but tag is for semantic emphasis.
For those contemplating diving into a 6hr course...DO IT. His basic & foundational HTML/CSS explanations are in a league of it's own! This course is an amazing combination of audio and visual learning. You will not regret investing your time into this tutorial!!
