...this is horrifying, I'm looking at bootcamps right now and this video can't possibly cover everything you need to know about HTML. Accessibility, code auth, like there is no way.
@@rox8078 Its not meant to cover EVERYTHING. Its a crash course. Once you master this video. You move on to other things such as what you mentioned and it will make waaay more sense. Why pay all the money for a boot camp that is literally gonna do this video..just in a different way. But people do learn differently. Same. Brad's videos trump both college and bootcamp and you can learn coding without counterproductive artificial pressures to satisfy arbitrary college and capricious boot camp timelines. There's no way to accelerate learning to code. Everyone has their own pace and coding consistently yields the most return over a period of time, not learning in a herd like livestock, always being chased by proverbial sheep dogs, forcing the flock to abandon one subject not well understood to move to the next and repeat this routine in a race to become a half assed developer as soon as possible. That's not going to put your career on a good foundation. Coding is a journey, not a race for largely fictional fortunes.

I'm currently taking a course in HTML5 and CSS for my degree and decided to watch this video before reading any of the content for the course. I sure found this helpful so when I take my quizzes and such I feel like I will be 2 steps ahead and get through the course a LOT quicker. Thank you and love the videos. Definitely will subscribe for any additional resources
Recent CS grad that didn't take an html/web design based classes and this was a huge help getting started on putting together my personal website. I was a bit skeptical at first because I was really just looking for the tags and there usage. You described things clearly and concisely however and I felt like it was worth it to not skip around, and actually listen to all your teachings. Looking forward to watching the css and javascript videos.
Holy crap man. You are an absolute beast when it comes to an HTML tutorial! I learned more in the last hour than I did getting lost on other websites for the past 3 hours, lol. This was amazing! Can't wait to watch your CSS Crash Course video next.
I WOULD LIKE TO SAY ONE THING FOR SURE THAT THIS MAN IS A GENIUS LITERALLY , HE JUST EXPLAINED US ALL THE THINGS IN SUCH A SIMPLE WAY THAT A 6YO KID WOULD FIND IT A LOT EASIER TO DO ALL THIS HTML STUFF.....SALUTE TO U
Just wanted to say I am very much a beginner programmer, but after watching your video I actually feel pretty confident about basic HTML markup now, gonna move on to your CSS video for sure. Subscribed!
Ever since I discovered your channel I never switched and probably won't. Your content has an enormous value that is much appreciated. Thank you a lot for being awesome!
Got my sub 2 minutes in when you said that you can't really learn anything in 5 minutes and that that's a bullshit concept. I'm always pleased to find someone who makes it known that very few things require no work or effort and that there are no shortcuts to life. Thank you for this video, I know I'm 5 years late but I still appreciate it.
As a beginner with no experience in computing or coding so far, this turned out to be one of the best course for an absolute beginner like me, Thanks Brad! Keep going.
hey! how long did it take you to understand this (did you have to rewatch it a couple times or just once ) and how confident do you feel with html now out of 10.
Watched the whole thing! I dabbled in some HTML last year and fell away from it but this was a whole new level of interest. You explain it so so well and I’m definitely learning a lot more than before. Here to stay man! Thanks for this :)
One hour well spent. I know it isn't a complete and full guide on html, but I feel like I learned so much even for just a basic website layout. Definitely want to learn more after watching this. I'm working towards building my own online shop, and this feels like a great starting point.
This is the best html course I've seen. Precise, direct and straight to the details. Now I know why Brad is so succesful. He knows exactly what to teach ir order to help you to be a great developer. Thank youi.
This was awesome. Learned a lot in 1 hour. Your teaching style is effective because you don't sugar-coat anything; straightforward and right down to business, I like that! Well done
I watched this course around a year ago and now (at the age of 14) i am making around £300 a week from making websites for companies, This is a really profitable business and his series is definitely a must watch!!!!!!! . . Well done and thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Watched it twice. Thanks man! Honestly been trying to learn anything coding wise for two years now and this is the first video I’ve completed (twice lol) so you’re awesome dude!
Wow! Thank you. 👏 👏 I'm an Administrative Assistant and loving working from home during quarantine. I'm hoping I can learn front end development and eventually turn this remote work thing permanent. And it never hurts to learn something new.
Thank you so much!! Was looking for a course like this, well explained and from scratch. Practiced hands on side by side with Sublime and felt so proud of the final thing even if it doesnt have any styling (yet). Instantly subscribed and I will continue watching your videos :)
Incredibly impressed with this video. As an absolute beginner, I had half expected to get lost in the jargon and move on after a few minutes, but I watched it all the way through and already feel I know way more than when I started. I'm excited to continue learning.
Definitely me. Before this, I've done Python & JavaScript tutorials. This is more of a transition for me. AI and what it can do for the disabled is fascinating. Stepping into IT during quarantine.
Thank you for this! I've actually learned HTML 20 years ago for fun so I'm not a beginner per se but I've decided to pursue frontend dev seriously and this was a good refresher. You've actually clarified some of the newer tags I'm unfamiliar with like using "strong" and not "b" or not using "tables" for layouts, and semantic HTML. So thank you for that.
This was incredibly helpful! I've been learning bits and pieces of HTML over the last year, but I knew I needed to actually sit down and learn the basics, and this was wonderful. Thank you!
Thank you for cutting out the bs like so many tutorials do and making a structured crash course that is simple to follow. Personally, I like Visual Studio Code (probably because it's the first one I discovered), and was very blessed to learn the many shortcuts along the way. I will probably be watching all other coding videos of yours, because I really enjoy this subject of learning :D
Grant Todd Fuck school. Those 12 years of algebra, geometry, ela, well... history I learned some, and science are all gone in my memories. Why? Freaking tests mate. Those cramming ain't good and this is why getting high grades in school is pointless. Only time that was important to me was going to high-school and that was doing good in 8th grade for 9th grade. That is the only time I would study hard but from grade 3rd-7th, I should've just relaxed and study my OWN stuff.
First time here on recommendation of my cousin. I have never been able to do any type of coding before. I have never coded in the past and am a teacher by trade trying to break into this field. I was able to follow along and make everything, which is great! I tried Python last year and I couldn't do it at all. It was so frustrating. This channel is giving me hope! Thank you!
This is honestly so helpful, I’m currently taking a course to get into a program and I am an absolute beginner like didn’t know what HTML meant so at least when my next class starts I’ll know something before going into it
Thanks brother! It's been a while, I'm getting back into web dev after a long break. I taught myself using notepad back in the day. Your channel and videos are second to none. 🙏
I have absolutely ZERO experience with HTML. I have tried other "beginner" tutorials, and they are probably ridiculously easy for most people that are already familiar with the basics...however this video is the first one I actually understood from the very beginning to the end. By the way you speak, it definitely sounds like you know quite a bit about all of this, and again I just want to reiterate how clearly you explained everything for someone like me that had no clue what html even stood for. Thank you.
Monday 27/06/22 I started my 12 Weeks journey to become Web developer starting with this video, I will be learning to code for 4h everyday for 3months and hopefully by then, I would be a confident web dev... I am documenting my journey on my youtube channel. Good Luck everyone👍🏽 we can do it.
I was always wanting to learn to html, but it was like never had enough time to really dig into it. With this lesson it just happened in a couple of hours. Very good. Thank you, Brad!

And consider subscribing and don't forget to leave me a comment of what you would like to see next. Thank you and stay safe out there.
I was looking for an HTML course to use as a refresher before starting a job in which i will need to use it. Honestly i'm 15 min in and it's the best course i've followed online. In the past I've tried to learn python from courses on udemy for which I had to pay for and they were absolute rubbish, i wish they were more like this one. I like the speed and that the guy is no bullshit and gives out exactly the kind of information you want to know, also he doesn't get carried away and start talking about irrelevant things (which i saw quite a lot in courses like this), he is concise and to the point. Thank you for this course, it really makes my life easier!
I really enjoyed this video. took me 4 hours to get through because I was writing notes and writing the code along with you. Thank you for making this and I can't wait to watch the others!
I'm doing a "Foundations" course for web development, and this video covered everything that my "Foundations" class skipped. Thank you so much for this!
Is this ''current''? I ask because it was uploaded 5 years ago. I am a beginner and would like to start my front end development journey by learning the basics of HTML first.
@@lokeshacm Honestly, asking if this is "current" is sort of a loaded question. Web development has been growing for decades now, and HTML is rarely, if ever, coded. Having said that, everything does compile to HTML. JSX, as an example, combines XTML and Javascript to form a more dynamic method of rendering a website with React. This video is a good place to learn HTML to understand JSX in the future.
@@gamersruin Thanks. Previously, i had attempted to learn basics of Android app development on Coursera etc and ran into errors. Later i found out that it was a 5 year old course😅
This was a super helpful intro to HTML. I appreciate the time that went in to this and info you took the time to present in a clear, concise manner. Thank you!
Fifth day on learning HTML first four days from an app and tbh i learned more here going thru it step by step on my own don’t have a laptop so saw the video thru my iPad and downloaded a app on my phone to follow along. Amazing video will keep watching im trying to become a full stack web developer but want to learn the basics first then head on to python react GitHub all of that. Thank you really informative. It is an hour long video but for anyone who wants to learn I would say do it in the same time and pause the video yes it took me two hours but if you really want to learn you’ll put in the work.
This is such a good refresher course! Everything was explained really well as you mentioned about the purposes of each tag. That was extremely helpful in understanding what i'm doing. Never felt this happy & satisfied subscribing to a channel on RUclips :) Looking forward to more of your series!
and you know what you are developing a passion in others too with these amazing and interesting videos. when it's so easy to learn a new thing then people like to devote time to to them
it amazes me how I'm paying for a course I failed the Assessment twice doing worse on the second attempt. and that was going through the course material practice quizzes etc. only to find that I'm not the only one who has this problems with this course and how the course material doesn't line up with the actual assessment. to find a reddit post leading me here. thankfully. I would've been screwed if it wasn't for these videos TYVM!

I sure found this helpful so when I take my quizzes and such I feel like I will be 2 steps ahead and get through the course a LOT quicker. Thank you and love the videos. Definitely will subscribe for any additional resources
wow. I went from knowing nothing to knowing what html is. Thank you for blessing this world with your video courses. 🙏

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY ONE THING FOR SURE THAT THIS MAN IS A GENIUS
LITERALLY , HE JUST EXPLAINED US ALL THE THINGS IN SUCH A SIMPLE WAY THAT A 6YO KID WOULD FIND IT A LOT EASIER TO DO ALL THIS HTML STUFF.....SALUTE TO U
Honestly
Dude, I already know HTML

Just wanted to say I am very much a beginner programmer, but after watching your video I actually feel pretty confident about basic HTML markup now, gonna move on to your CSS video for sure. Subscribed!
Hey John, how you been doing with coding???
i love a winning story

This is what I need as a senior who is retooling to keep working. Thank you and I will continue to watch, grow, and learn. Please keep forging ahead.
i am struggling to learn html from 2 months but 1 hour of this video helps me to depend my knowledge and better understanding of html
Subscribed just because the line - "For god's sake don't use IE"... Killed me right there.
This was a fantastic course, I touched HTML about 15 years ago and completely missed some of the basics you showed here, liked and subscribed!
Keep going.
hey! how long did it take you to understand this (did you have to rewatch it a couple times or just once ) and how confident do you feel with html now out of 10.
ruclips.net/video/u1lrpvFNo3M/видео.html
Watched the whole thing! I dabbled in some HTML last year and fell away from it but this was a whole new level of interest. You explain it so so well and I’m definitely learning a lot more than before. Here to stay man! Thanks for this :)
i was watching the whole video like OMG,OMG.
ruclips.net/video/u1lrpvFNo3M/видео.html
One hour well spent. I know it isn't a complete and full guide on html, but I feel like I learned so much even for just a basic website layout. Definitely want to learn more after watching this. I'm working towards building my own online shop, and this feels like a great starting point.
How far along are you on your journey? I am a digital marketer learning to make my own landing pages and resume site
Did u built it bro ...?!
This is the best html course I've seen. Precise, direct and straight to the details. Now I know why Brad is so succesful. He knows exactly what to teach ir order to help you to be a great developer. Thank youi.
"some people may not like longer videos.."
I will literally sit and listen to a 4 hour webinar of this.
Ikr this was so informative
The 1 hour was definitely worth it
ME TOO!

If online studies suck, then RUclips classes is on another level. Am loving my classes.
Thanks so much
Thank you so much!!
I'm on 19:36, and am getting more excited as we move along
who's learning a new skill while in quarantine?
Im Mandana .. here🙌😀
me too and loving it. amazing tutorial
@@Qangybas.Supertramp well brad is just amazing, good luck
Definitely me. Before this, I've done Python & JavaScript tutorials. This is more of a transition for me. AI and what it can do for the disabled is fascinating. Stepping into IT during quarantine.
Im Mandana taking up a few, coding would be awesome to add. Yourself?
Thank you for this! I've actually learned HTML 20 years ago for fun so I'm not a beginner per se but I've decided to pursue frontend dev seriously and this was a good refresher. You've actually clarified some of the newer tags I'm unfamiliar with like using "strong" and not "b" or not using "tables" for layouts, and semantic HTML. So thank you for that.
Nice to see I’m not the only one who learned HTML for fun 20 years ago lol. This definitely was a good refresher.
Thanks for this man. I'm starting a software developer course next month and I feel I finally found my study material to get headstarted.
Good luck!
RUclips schooling is better than going to an actual one.
karl felipe agreed
karl felipe they expect you to learn it urself
Soo sad actually
Grant Todd Fuck school. Those 12 years of algebra, geometry, ela, well... history I learned some, and science are all gone in my memories. Why? Freaking tests mate. Those cramming ain't good and this is why getting high grades in school is pointless. Only time that was important to me was going to high-school and that was doing good in 8th grade for 9th grade. That is the only time I would study hard but from grade 3rd-7th, I should've just relaxed and study my OWN stuff.
what he went through in this 1 hour video took us 3 months to learn in my college. un fucking believable
Loved the video! I'm just starting to learn html, css, javascript, etc. Excellent crash course! Very helpful to new people just starting out.
how's the process
First time here on recommendation of my cousin. I have never been able to do any type of coding before. I have never coded in the past and am a teacher by trade trying to break into this field. I was able to follow along and make everything, which is great! I tried Python last year and I couldn't do it at all. It was so frustrating. This channel is giving me hope! Thank you!
"This is strictly HTML so I'm not gonna talk about CSS"
Proceeds to explain the whole box model.
Loving your tutos

Thank you.
RUclips University, Thank you for Teach us for free. God Bless You.
I like how this guy is frank , I already watched other tutorials but definitely learned a lot more from this guy .

@@lokeshacm Ah! Yeah, you'll run into that more with React. I didn't really have issues with versions with vanilla HTML, Javascript, or CSS.
This was a super helpful intro to HTML. I appreciate the time that went in to this and info you took the time to present in a clear, concise manner. Thank you!
This video is so ridiculously helpful and you explain this so thoroughly, cannot thank you enough
I've taken HTML classes before, but it has been awhile, so this was a very good refresher course. Thank you very much.
Fifth day on learning HTML first four days from an app and tbh i learned more here going thru it step by step on my own don’t have a laptop so saw the video thru my iPad and downloaded a app on my phone to follow along.
