Dallas apologizes for "going down a rabbit hole" yet he's coping with recovering from a TBI and a horrific accident. I never thought we'd hear another Maylene track again. Thank you the interview.
Met Dallas back in 2005,2006,and 07. He’s easily one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met . Got to hop on stage and scream some of his lyrics with him when I was 15, coolest day of my life . Love this dude
I don’t idolize or put any human on a pedestal to worship. But I love Dallas. He’s such a genuine person, and I’m so grateful that he fought and recovered and is making music again. His music carried me from childhood into adulthood and has helped me more than I could say. Thank you both for having him on like this!
I remember seeing Maylene in Colorado Springs right after IV came out. There was a crazy blizzard that day and there was almost no one at this tiny venue. I was on crutches, recovering from a broken hip. When they started playing Listen Close, I remember Dallas getting off the stage, coming up to me and letting me sing the chorus with him. He really is one of the best and kindest people, I am so glad to see that he's back.
God was really with DT, hes a walking miracle and from what Ive read about his recovery, he realizes that and God gets the Glory. Hey, Dallas. Im from Ocala too!!❤
Been a fan of Dallas since the cries of the past album came out. Such a great dude, best scream of all time imo. Im going through my own eye struggle and require multiple surgeries to keep my vision, so hearing him come out with a positive attitude is inspiring.
I've known Dallas since we were about 5 years old and grew up in the same small town. We were on the same little league baseball team for years and we did a hilarious project together in 7th grade history class called "big mama drawers"...haha...Dallas has always been a great dude, it's good to see that he's doing better. 💪
It’s so great to see him in better spirits and that he’s able to do what he has been lately. Been a fan since Act of Depression and I loved everything he’s done. I remember seeing Maylene play at Warped 08 and getting to meet him was so amazing. He was so genuine and down to earth. Thank you Nath and Johnny for bringing him on. I look forward to your videos so much!
That was a top interview, what a great bloke Dallas is. So glad he's kicking on and shining his light to us all. I remember Maylene well from the Sydney Soundwave and had a similar experience to Johnny.🤘
4months late but I missed you Dallas, I saw the interview shortly after the accident, and was heartbroken to see what you went through, I'm so happy to see you again bro!hope you're doing better
This is great to see! Love some Maylene and I'm glad to see Dallas in good spirits! Also thanks for recommending Zeal and Ardor. Went straight to them after watching this and they absolutely kick ass! I love hearing a unique sound
I haven't been able to stop listening to Zeal and Arbor since I watched this 2+ weeks ago. Holy shit, are they a one-of-a-kind band with fascinating compositions! Thank you for the recommendation guys! Burn the Witches is on heavy repeat as well. Loved hearing from Dallas.
Thats called traumatic brain injury. Its when your growth hormone, testosterone, no thyroid, inflammation, and nerves are all messed up. Pray for Dallas.
@@mattmenzie That’s like saying don’t bring breath into this. God created music long before you or I was “into this”. I like to know what the musician’s principles and morals are that I’m letting into my brain. I don’t just blindly follow along because it has a good beat. That’s so irresponsible, juvenile and dangerous. Do you care who is brainwashing your thoughts with their philosophy or do you claim not to bring your brain into this either? Be a better steward of your soul. It’s the only one you got.
@@amysson5151 if your mental constitution is so weak that you believe music can "brainwash" you, I can only imagine what kind of dogmatic filth the clergy has slid down your throat.

"Even though I have one eye, I see more than I ever have" That is a profound lesson my man. God bless, Dallas.
I hope Dallas realizes how big his influence and inspiration is in people all around the world and how many lives he has saved with his music.

Named my son after you brother! God Bless
Me too!
Is the album out?
I Can only find the single
Is it just me or does he sound intoxicated?
It’s a result of his brain injury.
Thats called traumatic brain injury. Its when your growth hormone, testosterone, no thyroid, inflammation, and nerves are all messed up.
Pray for Dallas.
Does he claim Christianity or has he turned his back on God?
He believes and follows God. But he doesn't follow the religion of Christianity from what I've gathered. I say he's on the right track.
Turn his back on God? U don't have to claim your a Christian to have a relationship with God....
Don't bring that crap into this.
