@iMAT Hi, i did some testing with my hk8 pro max gen 2. I have conclude that step counter is isn’t working.. as I’ve tried walking for an hour without the phone twice..just walking without the sport mode walk on and another 1 hr walking with sport mode off. It seems that watch relaying from the iphone step counter. Please correct me if im wrong. Thanks
They could have just added these new features with a firmware update but they want to capitalize on the sales

The 2nd gen is quite good.!. But they did very bad in the prox sensors .. The should have to work on that . Even they have to make them sharply accurate and original..!!
Why do a lot of people love this watch when the proximity sensor doesn’t work plus it has issues receiving notifications???
I guess people settle for just the amoled being the most important feauture vs functionality.

Still they didn't put antenna line on the frame. Can't wait to see comparative test between Hallo watch 3 and HL8 PRO MAX second version. Of course, when developers of "Hallo watch" solve the software issue and when they are done with the problems it has!

How many watch faces can be replaced with gen2 _ formerly only 1, we are stuck with several unwanted ones.
Good to know that the newer one have better color accuracy. I always felt the older hk8 color is washed out. Will purchase it later.

Hi Mat, my HK9 Pro seems also to be a Gen2 (MODEL NAME: HK ONE) with the same firmware version. It has also the ChatGTP app:
There still some features missing:
- always on display, is nice, but not able to config the watch face
- no option to change the brightness in the config dashboard screen
- not able to lock just the watchcase - only the entire watch
- BIG CON: display doesn’t wakes up and display the notification when it comes in. It just vibrates and you have to display it manually.
- Possibility to change the screen brightness from the dashboard is missing
- When you swipe right you can add more apps to the tiles - sadly this only works with 5 apps - you can’t assign weather, calculator oder most other apps.
- fonts are overall mostly a bit too big an have to be slowly scrolled left and light until can be read completely.
- Notifications overhead. You get some notifications on the watch that are normally not appearing on the phone. Like: „tweet send“ oder in WhatsApp „You have 2 messages“ - this creates a lot of clutter in the notification as you are getting two messages every new WhatsApp with one being a total cost and the other, the actual message
- Probably a BUG: if you are in the middle of reading the notification and Swipe back to overview, all notifications get deleted sometimes
- No options to pass the call to the phone while in a call
- No Caller ID - even the contact is saved on the watch
- German localization is very bad
- No emoji support
BIGGEST CON is the Wearfit Pro App - the app makes the watch almost unusable.
- Full of adds that you have to watch before you can proceed
- Very cluttered UI
- Only SIX PAID watch faces that you can choose (in some reviews I saw a large list but it is not there in my version (v 4.6.2).
- German localization is pretty bad and there is no way to thing the language
I hope the producer/developer of this watch can see this and improve the watch - especially the app.
With all this cons it is not a pleasant experience to use this watch. In current state I definitely would not recommend it.

Make sure your video is focused. What lens are you using? Ultrawide? Otherwise, very good video as always Imat!
Canon 18-135mm Lens f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens which is a wide-angle to telephoto zoom lens! But sometimes the object is not focused since it doesn't offer continuous auto focus while recording a video, so I have to lock the focus!

No the vibration seems to be the same, and as I mentioned in my full review, the screen still doesn’t wake up for new notifications!

It has music app to store songs. and one essential feature AOD with favorite watch face show up !!! I will wait HK8 Pro Max match up above Hello Watch 2 features. But again Werafit Pro will make me stay away !!!

Hi, as I mentioned in one of my videos that I dont think it is working at the moment since it only lets you select one picture for the watch face in the app!

Brought the gen 2 watch today. Its been 12 hrs and battery is not gone below 100%. Either its not showing correct battery data or battery is fabulous 😂

@@iMAT it was battery issue which didn't represent correct data and then adding to misery, motherboard issue which made the watch reboot randomly. Returned the watch today. Never buying that watch again 😆

Bought yesterday and its still at 100.
While using it randomly turned off and hello logo appeared repeatedly but it didnt turn on.
I put it on charging for a second and it turned on with 100% battery and I faced this rebooting issue three times and only putting it on charger fixed it.
I dont have any warranty and I called seller , he is not willing to repair and returned(he already told no warranty when I bought).
I have formatted it multiple times and I haven't faced rebooting issue since then but battery is still at 100%😭😭

@@iMAT that's no defect? One other thing : if I tap the stop watch there is no way to quit the app except of a reboot because the crown which is mandatory for go back is locked by the start and stop function. Can you reproduce the problem?
You can stop the stopwatch and then swipe from left to right to exit the app

Brother when I open the link for the gen 2 watch, there are no side buttons in the pic, should I order it. Will get it including the side buttons like the original Apple Watch has.

What about the vibration issue? Does the rotation feedback to activate the screen works ok? I m a basic user and gen1 was not ok even in the basic stuffs
Raise to Wake works fine, but the vibration intensity is still not too strong
I think that's money making! Almost the same watch. And the people who have the first version of both watches (HKPRO) don't get an update although that wouldn't be a problem. I think that's rude.But you can see that in the app, you had to pay for dials and it's also full of advertising^^. there is nothing like it anywhere else.

If it is not connecting, go to the bluetooth settings of your device and delete the device if you see HK8 Pro Max there, then reset your smartwatch and then try connecting again! It will connect

AOD is delayed feature but it can not change watch faces !! It is unacceptable !! Wearfit Pro app is become worst because 90% watch faces start charging extra money !! No Music app to store favorite songs. so I will not buy this one. Even it has ChatGPT app. I like to use ChatGPT on PC big screen not on watch.

Did you find a way to have the call bluetooth permanently connected? Noticed it always disconnects after a few minutes and there are no call notifications
They probably introduced this function to save battery, but they messed up in optimising it for best performance and the smartwatch fails to reconnect when needed
