I was wondering if any one in the USA had sewing boxes. I watch Sew Hayley Jane unboxing all the time, but don’t buy because of the shipping from overseas. It’s always a bit hit and miss with sewing boxes, but this one was a WIN! Hope to see those joggers made up at some point, the fabric is great.

Cute ideas. I’m not looking forward to ice cold winter but I’m looking forward to really getting into sewing. Right now just sewing couple of items getting ready for trip. I have so much I want to sew and learn to sew that I need to make a list.

I would LOVE to receive a sewing box, but there is only one supplier here in Australia and all you get is fabric, and I would love to receive one with all the goodies included. I do really like the ones you received and would love to sign up but the postage from the US to Australia is way over priced (and I hate paying large amounts for postage, I have the same feeling for parking too... I am such an old 'Scrooge' LOL). I love the fabric for your new joggers and True Bias does have a tutorial on how you can raise the waistband too which I live because I don't like pants that sit on your waist (and you made me buy another pattern today the 'Pointe Pants' by Style Arc patterns they are having a sale at the moment). I totally get the pain of paying for shipping! I was excited to see a subscription box based in the US as they seem to be quite prevalent in the UK. It sounds like Australia has a hole that needs to be filled!
This looks like an amazing subscription box! I have done Sew Sampler quilting box and loved it but have accumulated too many quilting projects waiting for attention. But clothing...!

what a cool box! That ponte is incredible, and I'm inspired to make a more refined pair of Hudsons too! BTW, Kelli has posted a tutorial for raising the waistline, which would benefit your daughter. I followed it and her instructions are impeccable.

Really liked this video. It's fun to see you so excited when you get something as a surprise! I really liked the fabrics and I agree that the pants are going to look really elevated for the style. The purse looks so cute too. Can't wait to see you make them both up. You also gave me an idea about using a slightly lower waistline as I too get uncomfortable sometimes when I am swollen as well. I will try that and see how it feels. Also, can that elastic be purchased at Wauwak? That is the type I like too, but can never find it. Thanks so much!
The knitted elastic can be found at Wawak: www.wawak.com/Garment-Construction/Elastic-Waistbands/knitted-waistband-elastic/?sku=EL36BK . I use the 1.5" width for all my elastic waistbands and it's so much better than non roll stuff.

Whitney, this was so much fun that I signed up for a subscription thru your link! I have a question. I’m assuming that you have Crohns or something like that by the way you describe your autoimmune disorder. My daughter has terrible issues that sound similar and she has bouts of Enteritis and they’re thinking that she may be microscopic Crohn’s. Anything tight on her belly really causes discomfort. She wears only leggings and dresses. Do you have a pattern that you would suggest for leggings that are comfy around the belly, in particular around the waist? I’m sure I could figure something out like just making the waist larger. She has an hour glass figure but her belly expands several inches when she gets inflamed. Do you know of a low rise legging? I thought that you might have found a pair that’s comfy for you. Thanks for all of your great videos. I love your laugh!
Try the Helen's Closet Avery Leggings. That pattern has a few different rise options and one of them is a midrise that sits below the waist. I find things that hit below my waist to be more comfortable when I'm inflamed!
