I love your skirt and the fabric is lovely. I think. Vest to go with it, as I believe you suggested would look lovely and perhaps give you more of the definition you want although I think it looks fabulous on you.
Skirt looks lovely Adele, I have an undefined waist too but a nipped in short(ish) top helps with the shaping and a skirt gives me the hip shape that I would love on my body shape lol 😅 it’s all about perspective and illusion lol 😅

The skirt looks gorgeous on you.I am sure with crafty placement you could get a sleeveless top with a frill added for length.The beauty of a frill is you can join several pieces of fabric together and you won't notice the seams. Failing that why not make a plain white top and use the scraps to make a frill as the sleeve and a belt .
