This was a good and bad update. Good in terms of new cars. Bad in terms of they aren't finished and there are a few bugs with them including spinning constantly during pitstops and stuttering noises during gear changes. Seemed a bit sloppy by their normal standards. The AI is STILL garbage though, they can't even drive in straight line. Go home AI you're drunk. I expected better from AMS2 it's quite disappointing...a real pcars3 no matter what people say....the choice of madness is not a good choice for a simulation
GT3 and GT4 cars are a waste of content in this title. Seriously, there aren’t already enough good GT3 and GT4 cars in iRacing, ACC, RF2 and RaceRoom? AC even has good GT3 and GT4 cars. People won’t play this title for GT3 cars. Why would you when you can play ACC and have an entire 1:1 championship with those cars. It’s a waste of content. How about adding more Group A cars? Or classic touring? I know they’ll be adding Group C and that’s fantastic but it would nice if they would do more then one or two cars. I’m sure that’s all they’ll do. This title has an opportunity to provide something that’s not being provided in sim racing anymore. That’s anything other then GT3 cars. GT3 cars are like BattleRoyal mode for shooters.
Totally agree! I definitely hope classic cars are the way they are going. One of the greatest advantages of sim racing is the ability to recreate things that we can't do and, in that sense, I always feel like other sims don't take advantage of this with classic cars.
Whoever designed the steering rack on that kart has never seen a kart in his/her life. Also the lack of grass is hopefully a graphical setting and not an actual design choice?
Click baity ass title had me excited. I think its unanimous that the GT cars is the biggest update to come to AMS2. Some well known racecars is all this game is missing.

Atrocious physics. The cars and karts have weird as heck project cars 2 physics and the karts drive like a 60s sedan - barely reacting to shitloads of steering lock, understeering like they hit ice for such an extended period of time with no seeming end in sight before they finally regain grip. How can a so-called sim developer release such gobsmackingly obvious terrible, unrealistic physics? This physics engine has SERIOUS BIG TIME issues with how it deals with loosing and gaining grip. I've seen arcade games with more realistic kart physics and natural handling during loss of grip than this. What a disaster.

@@SimRacing604 is this for PC2 ? I could not find any Christian file for Ams2.
@@thepanderman4825 I have the same question. Looked it up, buy yeah that seems to be for PC2?! Tried it, but got no ffb whatsoever. I use Silver_Raw 6.4 momentum_rack 4.0 from the official forum... There's plenty of newer reworks, but I have some issues with them, so I reverted back.
@@frankdiehl8749 I tried almost all of them but i can not completely satisfied. I am using silver rack at the moment too
This looks more video-gamey than sims that have been out for years (AC and RF2).
All the textures just look so flat. Did you have the graphics turned down?
Love the new DTM cars but a bitch on downshifts. Also the old F1 needs more quicker steering, feels like a road car to steer.
How's performance compared to ACC?
Much better!
They also still got magic traction and acceleration as well, really annoying when combined with bad mid corner speed.
Anyone notice how the green car is hovering over the road lol. A clear shadow issue.
Jonathan Chung yeah, I noticed that too, haha
Would be great if you posted (or revealed in the video) your AI settings.
Marc Collins I generally race at 90 - 95% strength, but for videos I scale it back to low 80’s. Always 50% aggression
I expected better from AMS2 it's quite disappointing...a real pcars3 no matter what people say....the choice of madness is not a good choice for a simulation
The DTM pair feel horrible, along with a handful of other cars not in this update. The mini is fine.
Yep i agree. i like the mini but it feels way too heavy and the sound sounds like they have used the gt5(puma)
What replay? 16:23
x18BritishBillx18 oh man! I forgot! Haha, thanks for catching that
The lighting, shaders, and textures still look so flat on the tracks and on alot of the cars.
GT3 it's like a virus on simracing, please just don't.
You need VR......
i kinda hope they dont add gt3/4 cars im so bored and tired of driving them i want something new
stil beta, hovercars flying over the tarmac
u dont sound like u are black, interesting
Click baity ass title had me excited. I think its unanimous that the GT cars is the biggest update to come to AMS2. Some well known racecars is all this game is missing.
@@jamesmccaul2945 it's just everytime Im in a AMS2 session for 30 or so minutes, I can't help but think "this game needs some modern racecars". Dont get me wrong, I love the current roster. I just really want a full multiclass grid with GT3 and GT4.
Physics are still OFF!
Care to elaborate?
You must have driven these cars? Keen to hear your experience and comparison.
What the hell are you talking about in the video about not knowing anything about Nurburgring and the GT cars? If you had bothered to spend as much time as you talked about knowing nothing and just opening up the website you would have seen under roadmap when they will be released.
MegaCm123456 I’m talking nonsense. You should definitely block my channel from your feed, dislike this video and never watch anything I do again. Please. That would make both of us happy.
@@SimRacing604 It wouldn't make your viewers happy though. Someone has to point out the obvious: www.game-automobilista2.com/?lightbox=dataItem-ke2h4vp3 Your viewers will think you have made a minimal effort that backs up anything you say. So if you say you don't know anything about the release date they will take it to mean that its not known to the wider public, but in fact its sitting on the website all along. When you got thousands of viewers you have to make that minimal effort and if you don't, don't be surprised at a negative response. Otherwise what credibility does anything have that you say to your audience?
Beautiful 💪
Nice gameplay buddy 👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥
