  • Derek Fearheiley is a mechanical engineer who has been a part of the Prism Supply crew since the beginning. He built this Big Twin Evo chopper 13 years ago when we were all getting started with motorcycles and it's still running strong.
When Derek isn't building or restoring Harley-Davidson engines with Duane's Powertrains, he's helping us machine and manufacture our in-house products.
Watch to learn the story of his first H-D.

If I remember correctly, the crate Evo's were all titled as 1999 after the Twin Cam came out. You could buy them from the dealerships for years, but they were always titled as a 99 motor. I remember looking at buying one around 2006 and all the ones they had in the showroom were 99's.

I used to buy those all the time for my choppers I was selling . hard to beat a brand new in the box evo for $2400 & brand new softail 5 speeds were $900 . do a cam , breather gear ,ignition , 2 int 1 exhaust & stab it into a good quality rigid kraftech frame & chopper done !
