As your motorcycle riding neighbor in San Francisco I am so impressed with the bikes that your crew creates. Sometimes I worry that the local motorcycle scene is dying but upon finding your channel and watching your vlogs I think the scene is alive and in good hands. Thank you for your vlogs and your fantastic bikes. Your neighbor in San Francisco.
Well done Vu! An excellent job! For anyone wishing for an old Knucklehead, Panhead, Ironhead, or Shovelhead build, the later Evo Big Twins, (up to 1999), are the most reliable HD engines to use, I reckon! That EVO build has got to be a zillion times lighter in weight than the latest, on-the-road, 883 Sportser! An excellent, professional build, and many thanks to the videographer for showing all the details of the build, up-close. 10/10! ..😊....😊...! Take care, all...and ride safe!...(I'm watching all the 'Frisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego fatal crashes on Internet RUclips news-casts!)....😡...😡...!
I will never get over how slick those Main Drive Cycles mids look. By the way, they're making them again, you just have to provide your own master cylinder!
Super cool build, I like that bike a lot!! Love how you guys always do these videos where you go threw your boys bike and talk about the build. Very cool!! Stoked I found your channel!!
Yo Lnspltblvd, Chopper with a VU. Awesome Fuckin build I'm Impressed I love it. You Meet the Nicest People on a Honda Valkyrie. Keep the Shiny Side Up.
super awesome. what's with the breather bolts? they don't look like they breath all that well. hard to find good breather system without spending too much
Awesome bike good build. I have a 97 lowrider I want to convert to full chopper mode. I just love the style and life of old school but do like dependable thays why I think the evo gives best of both worlds
LNSPLT build off at the park 😎💯. Nice build vu 👊. Some good work son appreciate the content dude😎. Can vu get the boys too the camp spot on a hardtail??? Nahh jokes jokes lads
CV’s Suck period, no Toilet Bowl S&S when you can have a Mikuni! Sweet Scoot! There’s nothing like riding a bike you’ve literally built with your own 2 hands and that EVO is stone reliable compared to the old motors.
Can we get Duc to do a walkaround of his cb chopper? I thought he was done by your El Diablo run, but apparently not? I wonder what his final vision of the bike will be.
Do a video on the difference between a bobber, and a chopper? I’ve seen a few explanations, but it still seems a little vague. The most common explanation I’ve seen has been, a bobber is just a stripped down bike, but a chopper is all about stylizing the bike.
No front breaks... not sure that's safe but something you can get use to... No front fender is great as long as it never rains.... torture in the rain.
I worked at harley for 9 yrs and had a evo w a s&s when i got back from Dallas to.Tulsa dealership i was going to put a cv carb on it lucky my mgr gave me a mikuni for free had to put the stock jets in it. They had it on a mt500 but i piece together a twin cam intake put a bolt where the sensor was w red lock tight and pieces of a high flow kit. All together i had 20.00 in that swap. I would never run anything but mikuni. In fact i might run two on my m8. Hey i dont know if they still make them . But i was going to put a set of the pan rocker box covers made for evo. I had a crane single fire ign but you went points. Ev27 cam adjustable push rods. Once you bolt cut them and install lengthin til they have no play . Take paint pen make a dot roll them 3 turns and lock them down perfect . You will know if they are lose. I did 3 evo one mornin before i was heading out and the last one was a touch lose cause i was in a hurry . As soon as i fired it up and went a half a block i knew not tight enough i was two and a half instead of 3 . But you would probably love those covers . And warm it up til top rocker boxes are hot to touch before riding to keep them from leaking which they are bad about if you just fire it up and take off if they do leak go james gaskets not harley then will never leak ever again miko 9183503768 Tulsa ,Oklahoma
Hi, appreciate your videos and good idea of showing bikes of your gang.. my question is with regards to this bike- i noticed there was no axel support from gear box to primary.. Do you think it will work ? Also what is ignition for kick only on this bike?
Looks good but it looks like your missing a bearing support for your mainshaft ,not running that will cause big problems , BDL sells one for a kick only 5/6 speed Trans, I got mine from tiewan tedds ,so use your local independent chopper shop & keep your money local instead of paying inflated retail prices from 2 shits or slow bros .
Hell ya thanks bro! I was cutting the stock one up but let me look at bdl. The bikes back on the lift for more welding so I’ll make sure to get that support bracket on there asap 🤘🤘🤘
@@ELBBQ it's part# 20-0250 tedds v twin but it says no longer available but maybe you can find one on ebay or just cut down a stock one but convert to a sealed bearing too.
@@panheadric ya, im having trouble finding one made for a 5 speed. i think my only option right now until i can find one would be to curt the stock one up. thanks for all the help!
I would do anything to have a group of buddies that could help me get through a build like this. I want to build a bike so bad

If you start to build it, you can be the guy that everyone comes to for help. Do it, and figure it out.
I agree with both! You gotta out yourself out there. Start building and the right people will start showing up.
It will happen trust me I was typing a comment like this about 3 years ago and now I have a custom sportster bobber.
If you build it, they will come
Vu always seems to one up his own builds dude talented
Without a doubt, the nicest chopper over seen guys.
Enjoying all the show and tell bikes, thanks for sharing

Nice job dude! Clean
super awesome.
what's with the breather bolts? they don't look like they breath all that well.
hard to find good breather system without spending too much
Early Evos are case breathers.
Nice looking Chopper!
Otro pedazo de maquinon. Buenas rutas y muchos kilómetros o millas. Saludos from Spain 🍻.
There's a part of me that wouldn't ever want to paint it. Sweet bike as is. 😆🍻
Dude awesome build🤘🤘

Woot! Thanks for letting me know that I'm not the only one. :)
Cool dude, cool bike, cool vid
This is next level
Sweet ride!
PROPER CHOPPER BRO 🤘🏼
So cool! great job Vu. not my area of expertise but is there a nut missing at the top motor mount?
the top motor mount has a block style nut that sits inside this channel. from the carb side, it looks empty.
@@ELBBQ awesome thanks appreciate the insight
I love that seat, I want one for my ironhead. Where did you get it?
tc bros king and queen
What painter is Vu using in SoCal? I’m looking for a painter right now…
fantastic and should be low maintenance compared to all the shovels
The gang is tight but Vu gets me laughing
clean, good taste
The back of the sissy bar ... if you can get a slightly thicker plate to fill the back of the seat, and then someone to do a kick ass engraving in it?
A really clean build! Good job! What are the mid controls?
The sissy design you could do a white wolf howling at the moon cut out of plate like a stencil
What a beauty
Fkn dope!

So I'm pretty new to all of this motorcycle stuff... what is the difference between a bobber and a chopper?
it all depends on who u ask.

Did you guys mention where the high mid controls were from or were they made?
ya, they are from a company called maindrive cycles.
beautiful
