Nice conversion , good job. Looks nice and clean, the Video is nice to watch and the music perfectly matches the scenery... One thing ..the price you bought the original bike for , it is hard to believe..but maybe there is such a big difference to prices here in Germany Anyway, keep up the good work 😀💪
Brother looks excellent I think I might have considered shortening the exhaust about 6 in make that cackling just a little bit louder other than that sweet build
I loved the thumbnail, and the video, and was thinking about tackling a similar project. But watching the test ride, it suddenly dawned on me that it ended up being basically a softail custom.
Hey dude can you give more detail on how to do that front wheel? Like what I’ll need to buy i wanna do the same thing to my softail slim, love the bike by the way very inspiring y’all made it look so easy
@Christopher Gonzalez doing a spool wheel conversion is just a matter of figuring out your axle diameter and setting the wheel up between the lowers and finding a center point. For example, my 98 fat boy has a 3/4 axle diameter, so I bought a spool hub 21 for a 3/4 axle. I set the wheel in between the lowers and measured out my spacers based on the inside lower to lower measurement, minus the hub bearing outside to outside measurement. Then, I double-checked the wheels center to the lower legs and the triple trees and had spacers custom cut to fit my application.
@@bikewurks1757 you're right, but here soon I'm going to do a video on a new bike and this one will get a bit of custom work done to it. The new one will be just a "stock" rider
You need to put the links and description of parts you put on this bike , I have an 05 fatboy anniversary edition and im trying to make exactly like yours , like I really like this bike I need to make mine to a chopper ASAP what rim and tire do you have on it ?
I understand. The key difference when harley went to the twin cam platform was that (one of many changes) they changes the axle diameters from 3/4" to 1". So, I wouldn't even have a reference for your part number because I got a totally different set up.
I was just teasing you, but ya I do dig it. I`ve been toying with the idea of getting an Evo Softail & giving it a chopper look. I just haven`t committed to giving up my old Ironhead yet.@@braydonhopper
It's an aesthetic choice and functional choice. Didn't have rubber dust covers, and the fork covers give the front end a more robust expression/silhouette.
Echt krass geil währe hier in deutsch land auch angebracht DB killer raus und Abfahrt aber uns Chopper Fahrer bzw motorad Fahrer ist sowas net gegönnt leider
Beautiful bike. Just my opinion. If you are gonna name it war pig? Ditch the chrome and go all flat black with some red. Nice timing on the end of the song 🤘
@Braydon Hopper I only suggested it because I love Black Sabbath and not so much a big fan of chrome. I put some Red vans grips on my 19 street glide. If you plan to keep this? The vans grips feel amazing over the stock grips. Congrats on the great work with your Dad. 💪
Fatboy is a bad ass bike....love what u did man but should have bought a wide glide and had 2 bikes, fatboy and a wide glide chopper!.... Just my dumb ass opinion is all....
That's a "bobber".... not a "chopper".... the frame retains it's original geometry (rake/trail/overall length/wheelbase) you just removed unnecessary accessories and shortened...or "bobbed".... the rear fender.... But it looks decent from here 👍
The "hats" are actually the factory aluminum bells that come on that bike. I left them on because I like the look of them, plus on those front ends, they don't come factory with a rubber dust cover over the fork seals.
People on here sayin “it’s a bobber not a chopper!” 🤣🤣🤣 get over yourself there Karen! It’s a cool bike. Just enjoy. Btw was the 6k the cost of the bike included? If so then how much was the bike?
Hahaha thank you! 6k with the cost of all the parts with the bike. I snagged the fatboy up for 3200 (which was a deal). However, due to some learning curves on the modifications, it ended up costing me another 500.
First of all, that is not a chopper, it's more of a bobber. A "chopper" has a raked out front end. It was a real shame to cut up an EVO bike when it could have been done with a practically worthless Twin Cam model.
Technically it has to be a rigid. I just titled it as such so douche bags like you would comment on the video and drive it higher in the algorithm to get me more views. So, thank you for being such a loser that you have to criticize me like a bitch just because you can hide behind the anonymity of the internet
great choice to build and best sounding harley engine ever made!!!

That’s a sweet little chop job.

I would have gotten rid of those rear fender mount brackets just to enhance the illusion of a rigid.
Damn, that is nice!
Thank ya
Jolie transformation

Looks good to me👍I’d put some Avon Speedmasters on it.
Muy buena con Black Sabbath 🤘🎶🎶🎶🎸. 🏍️
glad you left the heel tow and floor boards.
Me too hahaha. Once you have that set up, it's hard to get rid of
Sweeeeeet 👍👍👍👍
good Job. Would love to live in US and build some dream bikes. In germany nothing is allowed to chop
Sorry to hear that bud
My friend Klaus says no custom wheels or anything. He came to the states 50 years ago. Hoped things had changed by now.
so sexy custom.looking forward next build custom.
AWESOME BUILD ! !
I'M CERTAIN YOU shaved alot of weight off
from original Heritage style !
Before & After weight / lbs. ?
Who's handlebars are those? Thanks, great build!
Biltwell
Did you go from a 16 to a 19 inch rim? If so did you need to buy new forks? I have a sportster 48, and I’m trying to do that swap,
Actually where did you get those extended adapters to fit the front rim?
@@chrisssergio if you're talking about the spacers, I had my buddy cut them on his lathe. I bought the axle spacer stock from TC bros

Did you end up lowering the front or rear? Looks great!
Stick front. Lowered the rear as far down as the aftermarket lowering kit would allow
you can have a company or someone build you a frame, and send the neck in to have them integrate it onto the the frame to keep the HD title.
A buddy of mine who is a killer fabricator is going to back half the frame for me into a rigid. I'll make a video when the time comes

not hating this is a sick build but no front brake on throttle??? how do you get around that?
I put an after-market throttle assembly to delete the need for stock controls with a brake perch. I just like the look of no front brake

Drag pipes. You can get them from the Dennis kirk website and I think paughco sells them as well

Yep. Everything that came off is available for local purchase

Why did you keep the fork cans?
