Got the MK550 combo set. I love that it has function keys that are word, excel and then programable keys as well. I wish they would put that feature on the MK850-875
Thanks for the review! As ridiculous as it sounds, I bought this and couldn't manage to get it to pair with my two machines through the Unifying receiver. The package has some crazy Ikea style instructions with it, but absolutely no mention of the existence of a power button. Toggling the power button, being the key step when you pair new devices to an existing receiver. Holy moly, I figured this keyboard didn't even have one. None on the front like the old solar ones and none on the back like some I've had. Your review is one of the few non-Logitech things on the K850. That you took the time to mention the power button is on the side (duh) is what helped me. Thanks! Surprisingly, Flow works pretty well between my mac and pc. I'm impressed for now.
Great video! I was curious if the mouse and the keyboard "device select" buttons worked 1) independently or in 2) tandem. What I mean by this is: if I am connected to more than 1 device, and 1) I press "DEVICE 2" on the keyboard will both the mouse and the keyboard switch over to "DEVICE 2"? Or 2) would I need to switch them both over independently? In other words... I would need to press "DEVICE 2" button on keyboard and "DEVICE 2" button on the mouse as well, if I wanted to switch both to "DEVICE 2"?
Great information! I bought this product after watching your video. QQ: How can I customize the customizable buttons of both mouse and keyboard for mobile phone?
Can you connect the keyboard and mouse to more than one unifying dongle (assuming you have extras laying around that you aren't using)? Also do they both switch together or independently when toggling between connected devices?
The keys look to be very low-profile. It seems like a laptop design. What are your thoughts on that? I have an old K350, the home-keys are worn out, but it's a great keyboard and pronounced. I absolutely hate all aspects of a notebook computer to include the keyboards on any notebook. That's my concern about this keyboard.
What is the product number of this keyboard? It seems that you can get those in different layouts and I'am looking a specific one (US INT'L with large enter key). It should be printed on the back of the keyboard, something like 920-00xxxx.
I see that you also reviewed the Logitech K785. How does the the keyboard of Logitech MK850 compare to the Logitech K780? I need to constantly switch between a PC and a laptop. I type a lot and very fast. On my current keyboard it happens quire frequently that the keyboard can not keep up with me. So the current keyboard registers the very close keystrokes sometime in opposite order. So which of the wireless multi-device two keyboards do you recommend? Or should I step up to the Logitech G613? As for the mouse I currently use the Logitech MX Master. I customized extra buttons for copy, paste and close window. But it is quite annoying to have to rotate the mouse to switch between devices.
Hii. I was wondering if the bottom left row of the keyboard functions as follows, "Ctrl, Fn, Alt" or is it "Ctrl, Fn, Start, Alt". And if it's the latter can you change it?
I have a K330 keyboard/mouse combo and I want to move to a flow solution to share the combo between a linux and a win10 machines. None has BT. Just one monitor (a computer via HDMI the other via DVI) Is it possible to share the combo via flow with a single monitor and USB dongles only, no BT? Thanks.
Are you still using it? Do the letters on the keys degrade or do they hold up well? Currently using a MK710 and the lettering on the keys tend to rub off.
PHURSTT!! Anyone had some old school Logitech's combo keyboards and mouse, like MK550? Remember those?
TekTick I've got a 2001 Logitech keyboard, don't know what it's called tho.

I'm still using MX5000 from 2005 Lol. Time for an upgrade.

No problem! You had your own adventure! :D
Ive used the k850 (mouse M720 included) for some time.
It has a good feel and works well, the wireless connection is very stable
my top rows don't work. like play, and skipping songs, volume up and down etc (F5-F10) Do u know how it works? lol i feel stupid asking
@@MOBremember you gotta hold the fn key at the bottom while pressing for the special functions

HI, I WOLD LIKE TO KNOW, WHERE IS THE WINDOWS KEY?
Do you suggest this over K375S if I already own a wireless mouse(Razer Atheris) for 3x the price of K375s?
When you change Bluetooth connection on keyboard does it change on the mouse too?
As far as I can remember, yes!
Thanks dude
Thats what I wanted to know also! :)
No, it doesn't. There is no connection between channel of mouse and keyboard.

What is the usb hub model you use around the monitor stand?

does the mouse also connect via Bluetooth or is it only the keyboard that has that capability?
This channel has potential. THUMBS UP!
Thanks man, really appreciate it! 😊

I know what you mean, but I don't have it anymore 😔

If it's for typing, I would rather go for MK850. But, this was a while ago, I don't know if they have anything newer on this front?
thank you @@MattsPaddock I went with the MK850 combo. I ordered it a few days ago. Thank you
Awesome, no problem!
It is backlit keyboard (illuminated) please?

I really can't remember, it was long time ago!
How about gaming? Nice? Should I get this combo or a K780 keyboard + M720 mouse?
It's a decent combo, but don't take it too seriously, especially in terms of FPS gaming.
Good review. Thanks!
it is very difficult to move this mouse the hand gets tired
120 Euros, that's niiiice
Hey! I managed to connect the keyboard to my phone and computer, but do you know if it is possible to connect the mouse too?
yes you can
I hate the fucking huge palm-rest... takes up too much space!!!
Yeah, it's really big 😂
where is the print screen button ?
Yes this lack of PRNT SCR button is a Stupid Design. Ive Mapped the F2 key to capture area with Greenshot.

I don't think so, at least not with multiple dongles, maybe with a USB switch?
multiple USB Logitech dongles is the best cheapest way
How do I do screen shots? I was told use the fn & insert togther, it does not work! Any help would be helpfull.
Just pressing the insert key doesn't work? Try some of the alt and ctrl keys
@@MattsPaddock Nope nothing works! Must be a bad key board
The only thing that comes to mind is to install Logitech Options utility software if you haven't, maybe that will get it to work
win-shift-S ?
I like the MK710 more! I like the dedicated volume and music controls. But the multi device support is awesome
Are you still using it? Do the letters on the keys degrade or do they hold up well? Currently using a MK710 and the lettering on the keys tend to rub off.
+Jacky Yang No, unfortunately no, it has been with me only during the review period!
TekTick can you give me an idea about the build quality? did the lettering feel like it could last?
+Jacky Yang I would say yes, as consistent as it can be this being a Logitecha product!
If only it wasn't so god damn expensive. Not paying over 100 euros for a keyboard. Settling for the K520 it is.
Yeah, it's pretty up there with the price!
got it for 69 euros on black friday
i'm waiting for it to come.
Do you think it's a good deal for this price?
Can I switch between 2 different hardware dongles?
Hm, I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can!
you can.
Does this work with PS4PRO?
It should, it uses standardizes protocols
Are there backlit keyboard?
Is it?
instead of talking too much, you would share the sound of the mouse clicks and keyboard press sound.
thank you for not helping
I paid 80$ for this stupid combo and it don't have a drag button on the wheel??? Cant use Revit efficiently without it!
I am unable to get the volume keys to function on the key board, HELP!!!
the switch is on the right side...turn the keyboard off and on once and that should do it.
press FN at the same time as you press the volume buttons, this should be the same for the pausing/resuming and skipping/going back buttons as well
