Aw now that comment just made me so happy 🥹 Thank you so very much for being here, it means the world to me and I'm beyond grateful that you enjoy my videos and my work 🤍
This is really gorgeous and the texture is so interesting! Im a beginner at spinning, and i wonder why you use a thread in the middle to spin it around? Is it not strong enough to hold by itself, or is it simply to have it be so 'bubbly'?
Thank you! I love using a core thread for thicker yarn as I just gives them more structure and I do have to use a core in order to coil them and give them that bubbly effect. But for just single spinning, you don't have to use a core, it hold perfectly without one, it's really just a matter of preference and technique. I do both.
I would recommend a thin cotton yarn, that’s what I use most. I use to work with acrylic but didn’t want to use that type of synthetic yarn anymore, and cotton works great.
I dont get it !!???? Are you now supposed to somehow crochet or knit with that?? If so, HOW?? That is way too thick. Why is it not thin like regular yarn is when you buy it at the store? How do you use it when its curled up like that? Please demonstrate how you use this yarn. Thank you
It's used in weaving to create different textures. It's fully possible to spin yarn for knit & crochet (I do) it's all up to the preference of the spinner
Thank you for all your wonderful videos this year. They have given me so much joy and tranquility. 🎉❤

I would like to try core-spinning, but i don't know what to use for the core. What kinds of yarn/thread/fiber can be used for the core?

You use the correct size needles or hook, or use it for weaving or macrame.
