ios and android are completely different phones, switching from ios to android or from android to ios is like moving to a new house, not only do you have to learn a completely new layout and navigation you also know that some apps that you use daily are either exclusive or are not the same.

Android manufactures add RAM to the new phones, tout the speed and what do you get even with 6-8 gigs of RAM? LAG! Poor memory management. Samsung touts Android 20, one of the most expensive Android phones on the market...extols its virtues and lo and behold...it only will get 2 years of OS updates. My XR will still be rocking with new OS till 2023 while the S20 which is objectively better then my phone, costs more is DEAD. P.S. I just wanted to say I don't hate Android it's a decent system but the problem is it's too diversified and not all manufacturers are consistent across the board. If I was going to recommend an Android phone or buy one for myself it would be one of the new Pixel XL models or a good Motorola model. The reason is because it's stock Android, faster and generally easier to use. Also Pixel will give you like 4 years updates OS and Security. I like the Google apps centric model as well. I use Google apps even on my iPhone XR.

that's exactly myself in 2018 when I discovered Android. Just ask around you, to see how many out of 20 iPhone users know what type of charging cable they're using. I bet most of them can't even tell the name "USB type C" or "Lightning" cables, they call it "iPhone charger" and "non-iPhone charger". This video is great. It shows how "special" the apple community is. Deep in there, everyone knows that apple is only for the logo because they have ben surpassed by Android. I owned every iphone from 3g -> 6s. When iphone 7's only feature was taking out a headphone jack, i went to the galaxy 7. Samsung/Android had way more features than ios.
I was an iPhone user for quite a long time (6 years). Back in 2019, i wasn't planning on changing my phone but after a lot of videos that i saw, i noticed that android made a lot of improvements. At the time, i really wanted to get Samsung Galaxy s10 or s10+ but since i wasn't planning on getting a new phone, i didn't have enough money saved to afford it. I was looking for other phones and i saw that Samsung Galaxy A50 was a phone that wasn't too far behind s10's specs, and it was much cheaper (a lovely opportunity from samsung that gives everypne a chance to get a phone). I got my new phone for 300$ and i was really happy with it. It's been 1 year and 7 months and the phone works really well to this day. You can't understand what you're missing if you don't risk a little bit. You dkn't have to buy the most expensive samsung. You can go for A series which are just a little behind S series in specs but are much cheaper and still are good looking. I have both iOS and Android. I can say iOS is faster and more secure than Android, but Android is better for data, apps, general file management and admin rights (or even root rights). I can say, I like both iOS and Android, i’m neutral about it.

I mean...for example me, as an Apple user (iPhone 7 Plus, MacBook Pro and AirPods) I know that Samsung is much better in lot of things, but I also know that the Apple eco system is something so comfortable that you just don’t want to leave it. About 90% of my friends own iPhones which allows us to text with iMessage, call with FaceTime and share photos with Air Drop. Switching to Samsung would mean losing all of this...

When I took my iphone out of it’s case, it was so much lighter, but the problem with every apple product is how slippery they are. The main reason I have a case on my phone is so that it doesn’t slip out of my pocket every 5 seconds. The only reason I have an iPhone is because everything else in my house is slowly becoming locked into the apple “ecosystem” and also because I am 14, and what am I going to do, save up all of my money for the rest of my childhood when I already have a phone that 90% of the time works well enough.
I have owner my iPhone 6 for around 5 years now never switched. It’s not because I love it but I don’t see a reason to spend 700 euro or more to upgrade for what I use my phone for.
I used iPhone for 5-6 years until recently I switched to the Google Pixel 6. Android just has so much more freedom and cool features. Even something like having an Apple watch you can't use it on Android. My opinion is when you limit your customers like that, they are inevitably going to get frustrated and leave.
I've wondered how Apple enjoys brand equity. The brand keeps convincing people it's the best and that they would miss out if they went elsewhere. Is it really better? No. That doesn't matter though, as long as people believe they're getting something superior and they would lose by switching.

But for my uses, e.g. having two separate accounts for whatsapp and several other apps was a painful endeavor on iOS, I had to jailbreak the device, and stay with older versions of iOS in order to do this. Another simple task like moving files from and to the iPhone was always a pain. On android is as simple as drag and drop, just like a usb stick. Those are just 2 examples where iOS makes simple things a pain to do. That said I can totally understand people that are completely in the MacOS/iOS ecosystem and don't require advanced features be totally fine with the iPhone, use whatever makes you happy. =)

good video. but i think you're wrong when you said "i think this is the first time that android has surpassed iphone in build design". the s8 was the first to have the infinity display, easily a year before apple did. i think that alone was enough to surpass iphone.
that is where you are wrong again. Samsung started surpassing apple in tech-wear all the way back with the s6 because they had multiple tech features like channel control, sharing phone numbers with a touch of another phone, and wireless charging all back in 2015.
I guess what he meant by that was that Apple used to have decent trade-offs for these Samsung features, but now, besides not being innovative at all, they ended up ruining some things that people liked.
Yes, you did make a big mistake ..... by not switching earlier. Samsung phones have had the same premium feel ever since the Samsung Galaxy S6, it did not start with the Galaxy S10.
I would love to know how you handled transferring all your iPhone data , contacts etc to the s10 . My understanding is that it's a long and time consuming process.
I switched to galaxy for the same reason, I only had iPhone because of the premium feel and jailbreak. But jailbreak got harder to achieve and you had to wait longer. I found out that android was doing this waaay before

The reason the 10 s Max has such a good display, is that it was made by samsung

Apple can't just suddenly invent display technology just as good from nothing, you don't know how business work. Both Google and Apple invested in LG(biggest competitor so Samsung in OLED displays), yet they still can't do it good enough and everyone are forced to buy from Samsung.

I was an iPhone user for quite a long time (6 years). Back in 2019, i wasn't planning on changing my phone but after a lot of videos that i saw, i noticed that android made a lot of improvements. At the time, i really wanted to get Samsung Galaxy s10 or s10+ but since i wasn't planning on getting a new phone, i didn't have enough money saved to afford it. I was looking for other phones and i saw that Samsung Galaxy A50 was a phone that wasn't too far behind s10's specs, and it was much cheaper (a lovely opportunity from samsung that gives everypne a chance to get a phone). I got my new phone for 300$ and i was really happy with it. It's been 1 year and 7 months and the phone works really well to this day. You can't understand what you're missing if you don't risk a little bit. You dkn't have to buy the most expensive samsung. You can go for A series which are just a little behind S series in specs but are much cheaper and still are good looking. But they are falling way behind and the note 10 would be the better option. With no notch, more/better cameras, and so much more.

I have both iOS and Android. I can say iOS is faster and more secure than Android, but Android is better for data, apps, general file management and admin rights (or even root rights). I can say, I like both iOS and Android, i’m neutral about it.

About 90% of my friends own iPhones which allows us to text with iMessage, call with FaceTime and share photos with Air Drop. Switching to Samsung would mean losing all of this...

When I took my iphone out of it’s case, it was so much lighter, but the problem with every apple product is how slippery they are. The main reason I have a case on my phone is so that it doesn’t slip out of my pocket every 5 seconds. The only reason I have an iPhone is because everything else in my house is slowly becoming locked into the apple “ecosystem” and also because I am 14, and what am I going to do, save up all of my money for the rest of my childhood when I already have a phone that 90% of the time works well enough.

I used iPhone for 5-6 years until recently I switched to the Google Pixel 6. Android just has so much more freedom and cool features. Even something like having an Apple watch you can't use it on Android. My opinion is when you limit your customers like that, they are inevitably going to get frustrated and leave.
I've wondered how Apple enjoys brand equity. The brand keeps convincing people it's the best and that they would miss out if they went elsewhere. Is it really better? No. That doesn't matter though, as long as people believe they're getting something superior and they would lose by switching.

I've been going back to android every time i get frustrated with ios' limitations. This time I'm truly done with iOS. Everything is easier on android.
Silkaz7 I feel the exact opposite way. I try to use android but it just feels like garbage every time I try. I can’t stand using it and always find myself going back to iOS. Everything fees easier on iOS.
@@coe8159 I get your point, I know a lot of people that feel the same way. But for my uses, e.g. having two separate accounts for whatsapp and several other apps was a painful endeavor on iOS, I had to jailbreak the device, and stay with older versions of iOS in order to do this. Another simple task like moving files from and to the iPhone was always a pain. On android is as simple as drag and drop, just like a usb stick. Those are just 2 examples where iOS makes simple things a pain to do. That said I can totally understand people that are completely in the MacOS/iOS ecosystem and don't require advanced features be totally fine with the iPhone, use whatever makes you happy. =)

good video. but i think you're wrong when you said "i think this is the first time that android has surpassed iphone in build design". the s8 was the first to have the infinity display, easily a year before apple did. i think that alone was enough to surpass iphone.
that is where you are wrong again. Samsung started surpassing apple in tech-wear all the way back with the s6 because they had multiple tech features like channel control, sharing phone numbers with a touch of another phone, and wireless charging all back in 2015.

I switched to galaxy for the same reason, I only had iPhone because of the premium feel and jailbreak. But jailbreak got harder to achieve and you had to wait longer. I found out that android was doing this waaay before

Everybody likes to tell shit about iPhones when their android phones are just new. Now, never seen someone criticizes apple for still updating the old iPhones 6s, SE and 7… android is a free world, but only for 2 years after you bought it, in the third year is when the pain and lag experiences starts!!
