Coral Bark Maple Patio Bonsai - First 6 Months

I wanted to make a tall, slender maple Bonsai for my patio and I thought this Coral Bark Maple (Acer palmatum 'Sango Kaku') tree would make a great start. Watch the first 6 months of progression.

Sure thing - check back in a couple of weeks! I've filmed a couple of actions on it: I cut it WAY back this winter and then did a 'clip-and-grow' cutting a few weeks back. I'll put it all together and show you how it's doing.

@@faisalsultan7316 - I am working on it right now since it has just filled out with new leaves for the spring. Its doing great, but really does love to grow long straight shoots.
