Everyone can talk to talk. Don’t wanna be a doom merchant but believe we really need to start seeing all this progress he’s talking about or people will start to turn their backs. UTFG
I personally don’t think anyone that’s been recruited, has done a brilliant job. We’re struggling on the pitch, the match day experience is quite frankly embarrassing. Bars not open, hardly any food. If anything it’s got worse.
This restates what they are doing. Nothing new, but to still have talk of stadium and training ground development is a positive. Eventually to have 16-17k seats is a big stretch from where we are today. Personally, I’ll be gutted to lose the standing space we occupy, but I guess ‘that’s progress’. Patience is still a requirement.
I don’t see any vision for a classy championship teams home. Which is surely what we should be aiming for. The South Stand could have set the scene with design not requiring those uprights but having them looks like a 70’s bolt on. I think the training ground is and will be excellent. The ground however will not follow that quality. Having said all of that. If the team are exciting and in the championship the mem will be full and buzzing regardless of what it looks like. Packed to the rafters with happy Gasheads now that would be absolutely brilliant. But that’s a whole different challenge.
Nice to hear the redevelopment of the stadium is coming but what good is a 17 thousand capacity if we are in div 2.or even the national league which is where we are heading if the recruitment is not sorted out fair play to the man he said indigo will be backed this month & the summer please don't waste it.
@@chrisdite4868 couldn't you do everyone a favour and just f-off to ashton gate. Great redevelopment there. Higher league. It will be a win win for everybody
Stadium plans are good if uninspiring but the recruitment chat is insulting. There’s not been a single quality addition, much less 16 of them. It’s the worst rovers team I’ve seen in my 30 years following the gas.
@@ronroost684 from what I can gather, the expansion of the east stand to the left and right will pretty much cover the loss of standing spaces in the east and west terraces (increase capacity by circa 500 from current). Therefore, the increase in capacity to 16-17k will have to come from the redevelopment of the Thatchers, which doesn’t seem to add up in my mind as would require a really big stand to cover the loss of current terracing there and add another 4k minimum! I wouldn’t be shocked if the capacity ends up being lower and it takes longer than anticipated! Be great to finally see the plans won’t it.
For all the upcoming plans match day experiences at home are still very poor he Husain should have walk round before the game And see how poor the facilities are make the match day experience good for the home fans
I lost interest when he said the women's team is a priority and what a good job George Friend is doing. He nees to get on the terraces and find out what the fans think.
So increased to an extra 1000 how is that beneficial for long term investment???? Fans need to wake up the mem will be bodged up just so they can sell it . Get them out of my club . Where’s the Dutch talk gone ?????
Or you could listen to what the bloke said its temporary until the plans are accepted for the full redevelopment our ground currently is around 11k at full capacity so an extra 1000 wouldn't increase to 17k would it 😂😂 what is wrong with people not listening 😂😂😂
Not very good at listening are you? It's a temporary upgrade until the plans are accepted for them to redevelopment the stand itself that was also only the North East and North stands that would hardly bring the ground up to 17k as he mentioned after that.
@UltraLightVideos. I heard nothing about any temporary structure! So are we knocking down the east stand and creating something more modern or leaving that old blue thing and adding on to the sides? Sounds like the latter, which is a bit worrying when we consider how the south stand turned out!
@AndyRobbins-l4r yeah it would be a shame he said along the lines of the extra seats and converting into all seats would be until they close off the sides I think it's important they modernise the North stand a little if they're going to build up the west stand and repaint that south stand 😂
Excellent update from Hussain. I for one trust him. He didn’t actually say we need to be patient but that is important. UTG

Pretty positive - be nice to see the plans in due course. Losing my standing space on the East Terrace though !
Not sure about others but I prefer standing in certain areas then all seating most will not just seat anyway safe standing should be an option

We need a team the word team not individual players , But George Clueless Friend Picks the Team,
Start by getting rid of the utterly clueless George Friend
