Our grandad took us to see this movie on vacation in a summer open cinema in 1963...on the way back we passed a huge pile of fishnet on the beach...told my little sister it was a sleeping dinosaur waiting for a thunderbold to bring it back to life .....she was sooooo frightened

I think that this movie is the one I saw back around this time...1960. I was about 8 years old and the only memory I had was the scene, or another movie very similar to this one, where the man is using the excavator to battle T-Rex. I would have thought that I would have remembered about the cave-man. But its been over 60 years and my memories are rather faded.
Thanks, most likely, for some good old and very dusty memories.

I love this movie i saw it years ago when I was younger. I thought the T Rex was trying to save the Apatosaurus way back then. Now why did I think the woman running through the jungle in heels, was going to trip and break her ankle? Most of the movie was spent saving her. Why are old classics way better with special effects than the garbage CGI I see today. Great movie, great acting, and I am glad the caveman didn’t put on the dress!

Ya know, those little toy dinosaurs the kid had were made by the Marx Toy Company back in the 60’s. I still have mine! And, I suspect after watching this great old movie the two dinosaur puppets were modeled after the Marx toys- they sure looked very similar to me. I remember seeing this movie as a kid and at least once since then as an adult and I noticed things I hadn’t noticed before, like the similarity of the toys to the puppets and how attractive the two leading ladies were! Nice figures, but they’re probably very old grandmas by now if they are still even alive! 😅
