I think it was just a clever ploy on Sinner's part..let Medvedev win the first 2 sets easily like he did against Nadal 3 years ago but yet ended up losing the match...so Sinner just turned up the heat in set three knowing that winning that set would just create another bad sense of deja vu for Medvedev and that his confidence would collapse and it did!😂 Medvedev now holds the record that he certainly doesn't want or need....he's now the only Slam finalist in the Open era to lose the finals TWICE now after leading by two sets to love!😅

I didn´t quite get why the crowd was booing when Todd Woodbridge addressed the officials. Was chancellor Olaf Scholz attending the finals? 😅

At least Novak wouldn't feel so bad now, losing to the eventual champion. But on the other hand,to win another Slam again he has to beat not only Sinner but also Alcaraz.

I’m Italian and I was happy for the Sinner win,but I was also sad for Medvedev, very unlucky,in the last sets he was fisically destroyed, impressive anyway;hope he’ll have success on next slams.
