    What a superb victory for Jannik! I'm a big fan of Alcaraz, but this guy will be a terrible NIGHTMARE for Carlos his entire career. Sinner is like a wall...i don't see any weakness on his game! Well done Jannik, congratulations.

      @allatoll 5 месяцев назад +17

      Sinner is still somewhat older than Federer at that time, but also much more mature. Perhaps his two victories at the end of last year against Novak were the turning points of his career.

    • @highfly8354
      @highfly8354 5 месяцев назад +2

      Let’s say the young Federer beating Sampras was comparable to the early win with Djokovic at the Finals, summed up with the first win against Medvedev after a 0-6 previous tie. Those were the early milestones but not enough to win, exactly like the young Roger beated his Maestro only to be stopped at the next round. Today win is something so different, snatching Davis Cup and AO out of World N.1 by beating him 3 times out of last 4 is simply admitting Jannik is the new emperor enthroned. He will distroy any rival on Sunday.

I predicted Sinner to win today and with the fact that he only gets better, I think Djokovic will not be around for much more than 1 year. He is here to win titles but he is no longer the best player. He may have a last chance at Wimbledon, but Sinner and Alcaraz are really going to take over now

    One has to play incredibly well to beat Novak, which Sinner did, but what impressed me more is his casual celebration after the win and the composure with which he spoke, which made it clear that he knew and believed that he could beat Novak..
    That is truly champion stuff.. Sinner is going to stay at the top for some time surely..

    Today again Novak has won my heart.
    I always hated him for beating my all time favourite player Roger but Djokovic is not only the greatest ever tennis player but also a true patriot and a wonderful person. What a man.
    Well played Jannik, I supported you today.

    I agree with last comment about the games the Djokovic uses against his opponents, one minute he is hurt ,then he is not . He has had a bit of his own medicine today.

    I honestly think the pressure of the Ozzie crowed got to Novak on this occasion. They just didn't want to see Novak there and cheered Jannik all the way and then some. Fair play to the Italian for taking advantage of that
