Medvedev has grown on me. It used to be challenging for him to handle the crowd, but hes more comfortable now and it shows. Matter of time until he wins this
What a humble decent kid and a great competitor rolled up in one, the former surely informing the latter. Character doesn't always result from a lifetime working to become an elite athlete, and surely his parents had a lot to do with that.
To the parents who work hard and save money so they can send their kid(s) to learn sports and be good at it. Congratulations to them. I’m not a parent but I’ve seen the hard work they do. Well done to both.
Wow, Congratulations to Sinner!!! He's only 22 years old, we are going to see a lot of this young man! Again, Congratulations to AO new champion!🎉🎉🎉👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🏆🏆🏆
Firstly, I want to congratulate Medvedev, at first I didn't like him very much and his nickname seemed appropriate (at least here he was called 'the Russian bear'), now instead seems much more relaxed "on the scene" and that makes him more friendly and funny (people have realised this, it's not a coincidence that he has a lot more fans now than the beginning of his career). Regarding Jannik's words about his parents, I thinks are not just about the sacrifices made (eg letting him leave home at 14 to follow his dream) but precisely on the choice to play tennis; many know it, many not, but he was a true talent for Italian skiing and following that "road" would be much easier and normal (everyone skis in the alps), for sure shouldn't have to leave home, so for the parents it would have been much easier and probably were less the uncertainties for the future. I hope I made my point clear despite my English. 🍺
Congratulations Sinner! I predicted that if he could won the third set he would probably win the trophy! Excellent forehand and backhand, wonderful service, especially amazing return of serves, a similar style with Novak. He is and will be one of the most talented and potential young players in future. Also it's a pity for Medvedev, he was tired due to the previous five-set match...
well play Jannik, congrats for this amazing succes....and for youre entire carrier. It îs the first final în the open era when The big 3 where not în the final and it îs a big thing, and for me I guess its time fot the next generation to show up theire skills
humble guy ! not like an italian ! but he diserves this final ! incredible three last sets ! even if daniil would have win it if he had shorter tours before
can't wait to see Sinner keep it up whilst Alcaraz & Rune find their A game back, when that happens over upcoming months, that's the Big 3 Era gone. Medvedev will always be on the side killing off tones of strong competitors and making deepest runs. Tsitsipas might do the same if he gets his head right. Tsitsipas counters Sinner, Medvedev counters Alcaraz, Rune counters Djokovic.
Age is the main reason behind this championship. As we can see in the semi final against Novak Jankovic and the Final against Daniil Medvedev, they were both running out of steam. Congratulations, Jannik Sinner, You can go very far from here. Keep it Up!
The Australian Prime Minister was in the audience and was praised by the presenter. Anthony Albanese is very unpopular and the crowd wanted him to get the message (I was at the game)
Jim Courier should not have been the one to present the trophy to Jannik! The way he trashed him and Carlos whenever he was calling a Djokovic match was just sickening. Djokovic never played a match as good as Sinner did at his age. Rewatched the match all night & all day.❤ WHAT A MATCH!!! Congrats to both of you.
Bro, years of hard covid restrictions placed by the government were hard for Australians on so many levels...they don't give af about what happened with that whining clown...
He´s from the Tyrol area, which is a triangle switzerland, austria, italy - many people from that area grow up speaking 3 languages Swiss german, german and italian. Many don´t have traditional italian names...
@@tylerEN I fully agree. The point I was making is that in today's world a last name is not a good predictor of nationality. The probability that someone called Rodriguez is from the US is not that much lower than the probability he is from Mexico.
slowly..... tennis is dying.... more and more tennis court been turn into Pickleball court because of the Greed all the tennis have a monopoly over tennis.... Sad. about 20% of all public tennis court already been turn into pickleball courts. all tennis open should be free to see so kids will be more interested in playing tennis. Sad.
sadly no youngster is any kind of comparison to the great RafaNadal who won as a 19 year old. He was the one that brought people to watch tennis. nobody can be like him... sad that he could not stay at the top of the game. Very unfortunate champion. This winner looks so messy...
So humble. He felt awkward showing the trophy in front of his opponent. Such class.
Agreed with you. He’s a great young man. His parents raised him well. I am a big fan of him.
We love you Jannik from Vegas!!! Stay strong and grounded and humble, that's how millions of people fell for you! You are a star!!!DESERVING
Medvedev has grown on me. It used to be challenging for him to handle the crowd, but hes more comfortable now and it shows. Matter of time until he wins this
Agree, he also seems much more relaxed and focused
Lovely that he thanked his parents!
What a beautiful speech!❤
Dear Daniil, you are my favourite, a hero. I wish you victory and strength. Tatiana from UK.
What a great humble kid wish you all the best🎉
I am so Proud of Sinner, u are a true Champion,,,he showed Grace Under Fire,,,,,well done,,,,
Both of these players, so talented and wholesome. Love to see it!

He is good will be the best. My voice was hard for Jannik Sinner. He was the best at the Australie open 2024
This is the best result I have ever expected. Congrats to Jannik. He is the future of the male tennis world
As I said before: Sinner will gain the championship this time and it came true.
Congratulations to Sinner, he deserves with it.
Who was doubting you? And when did you say it?

With his skillset and the nerves of putting one of these under his belt. You could easily be looking at the next guy to win over 10 majors right here

Good kid, easy to root for... Also, Medvedev is great to root for too.
Tell no lie here ,these are those wonderful speeches in 2024 ❤❤❤
I think the next decade or so we'll see a healthy rivalry between Sinner and Alcaraz. They are both very young and excellent tennis players.
Gooooo jannik gooooo 🇮🇹🇮🇹🥕🏆
❤ that LV storage 😂😂 Sinner is the new AO fresh face finally 🎉🎉
So, so happy for Jannik 🎉🎉 but felt sorry for Medvedev 😢 third time unlucky !! Hope he is not taking after Andy!!

Why are people booing the Australian prime minister

Yes, I'm also curious too😮
Like many western leaders, he is not putting Australian people first. Treasonous.
Shocker a leader/politician not putting the people first!? Reap what you sow.

No, more like being a woeful pm.
No, it has nothing to do with Djokovic, Albanese wasn’t Prime Minister when Djokovic was banned. People booed because he’s a crap Prime Minister.
First view first comment
I wish I had your parents too mate.
What a waste of the first 8 minutes.. get on the the speeches from the tennis players.
His name (Sinner) sounds more like a Croatia or Serbian name?
He´s from the Tyrol area, which is a triangle switzerland, austria, italy - many people from that area grow up speaking 3 languages Swiss german, german and italian. Many don´t have traditional italian names...
Yeah, it's a bit like Agassi sounding more Persian than US or Mbappé sounding more Cameroonian than French.
@@italnsd it’s because Agassi isn’t Andre’s real surname. I believe it’s Aghassian, and his father Emmanuel had both Assyrian and Armenian ancestry.
