Its so nice to not see a clean room getting cleaned (If you know you know 🙂) Congratulations also to you and your husband on almost 15 years. What an accomplishment. My husband and myself will be married 25 years on May 19th. It is just so rare nowadays with the way people get married for the wrong reasons, then think that divorce is the answer. I agree that it is in some cases but marriage isn't easy, you have to work on it to make it last.

Was watching this while cleaning my room, and i just wanna say as a student working full time right now, and has a room thats suffered exam season thrown straight into full time work hours over the summer, this video is the one after half an hour of searching that actually got me to get up and clean- because its actually realistic. I had a horrible stomach bug too. It was at the end of March this year and trigger warning.. (I threw up 11 times 🤢😬) definitely I got hit the hardest from the virus but enough of that I got work to do! 😅 For anyone else cleaning I want you to know no matter how much life can suck you can and will get through it! ❤
Great video! Maybe you could put a trash can in your daughters bedroom 😊Pine sol kills gems. I make a bucket and clean with it and wipe the walls and everything else! How often do you dust around windows and the wood around them.?
Like you I use an anti- vac wipe on doors and knobs. Don’t forget dresser knobs too. Also I spray the mattress down with Lysol spray after sickness. Then once a month or so I vacuum the mattress too. Great video 👍

Ashley, you definitely give your cleaning more than a Mama's touch. This was a workout just watching. It's nice to have the kids do their chores to prepare them for adulthood, but let's face it they will cut some corners. Kids will be kids. I have been switching to cleaner products in my home, makeup, skincare, everything. Hey Ashley!!! Hope ur weekend is going well so far! This is probably going to be a quiet weekend for us, bc we went to the beach 🏖️ today. The weather was not great, but it was good to be out by the water and the 🦅 Anyway, back to this motivation, gotta get that laundry 🧺 done! 😆🧹🧽🧼🧺🏡 The majority of my cleaning products that work well for me-is the Method products. The smells are great, and I don’t find an overpowering smell. Some cleaning products are too strong for my skin. They would destroy my nails, and caused itching as well. Of course, I keep the stronger basic cleaners like bleach, especially for deeper cleaning 🧹.

One suggestion for finding a cleaning product is to see if there are any bulk health food stores in your area. They will probably have cleaning supplies as well. That way you can smell them and test it out and ask questions. Otherwise, Thieves and any essential oil based cleaning supplies tend to be really nice and effective. I used to use Meyers, but I think it's not as "natural" or chemical free as it is advertised to be. Sad because it smells amazing. REBEL GREEN is a product I found for dish soap that is highly concentrated and smells great too. ECOS is really nice too. Thank you so much for the motivation!!!

A paper lunch bag, laid out over the wax, and go over it with an iron on low or medium heat works so well. You can see the paper bag soak all the wax up. If you use it on carpet, just lay the bag down, and put the iron on low. Takes a little longer to melt the wax but it works amazing on carpet.
Hi Ashley we all have messes you want to see my dining room lol ugh it will get there even though it’s very overwhelming to look at it’s not even my mess my house can never stay nice long enough it’s very aggravating. I like to keep my home minimal not too much stuff as I have gotten older I want less stuff. My granddaughter loves stuff animals too but I had to tell her no more I won’t buy anymore she plays with it for two days then it’s just there not even touched soft animals take up so much room. Adrienne’s room looks great after you cleaned it up for her a mothers touch works wonders I’m the same way like the rest of us Moms. You can get outlet faceplates that have a built in night light in them that won’t take away the plug in case you need to plug something in I thought that would be cool to have. Jamey on Jameys journey makes an all purpose cleaner. I make it now and love it for my kitchen. 1 part water, 1 part alcohol and a thumb nail of dawn dish soap. You can add essential oil for the smell. It is great.

If you want some recommendations on natural products/brands: Attitude (hair and body wash) Beauty Counter (makeup) Target has a section of natural cleaning products and I think they have their own brand that is pretty good Oh and for toothpaste it’s important to find something without glycerin (it leaves a coating on your teeth so they can’t remunerative), I use Earth Paste

Hey Ashley, I’ve been using some natural products for years now lol baking soda, and vinegar . I use purell spray for sanitizing. I do use method laundry detergent sometimes it’s not a 100% but it’s less bad than what I’ve used in the past. I do not use softener sheets and haven’t for a long time now. I use Dr. Bronners toothpaste and soap , you should check it out, it’s natural products. I follow Bobby Parrish on utube for quiet awhile now and it’s definitely changed how I eat . I read the ingredients before I buy anything now. Can’t believe what’s in our food. I always buy organic

I think that steam could create mold so I would be very careful if you do choose to steam the walls. I am not saying not to do it but just be cautious. Mold is not something you want to mess with. My oldest is three and she is just now getting more into picking up stuff. I have had her throwing her dirty clothes in a laundry basket for a while now but toys seem to overwhelm her. My two year old pretty much just does what ever her sister does. Do you make a list of what your kids need to do each week and the order?

So far we haven’t caught anything. My 11 year old had the flu and the doctor kept him out of school for a week. I went crazy sanitizing everything. Guess I did good because nobody else caught it.

This is out of control and kids should not live like that. And parents should not tolerate that. If she cleans her room by herself it will be a lesson for live. My 5 and 7 year olds room end up a disaster 2 days after ive cleaned it especially if i dont have them tidy it. Its kinda last room on my list 🤐 And for more natural cleaners i lean towards using them, we end up inhaling cleaner for A while after we use it so i think its important. Were not perfect and all organic everything but natrual cleaners are an easy swap to get chemicals out the house. I like using JAWS cleaners
Yes, we got the bug. I was with my family for my birthday. We had eaten a brunch and went to a science fair at my local college. While there I started vomiting. My bf made it home before it hit him. I threw up so hard I strained my back.

My mom would take away for a while anything we left laying around. We learned to put our stuff away right away because of that.
So far we haven’t caught anything. My 11 year old had the flu and the doctor kept him out of school for a week. I went crazy sanitizing everything. Guess I did good because nobody else caught it.

@@ashleyforbes hahahah really?? Your daughter is the first one who needs manners. Yes its not a military school but its about living clean and organized and not that trashy. This is out of control and kids should not live like that. And parents should not tolerate that. If she cleans her room by herself it will be a lesson for live. Otherwise she wilo continue to live like that when she grows up. And btw if you post such a messy room you have to expect bad comments.

My 5 and 7 year olds room end up a disaster 2 days after ive cleaned it especially if i dont have them tidy it. Its kinda last room on my list 🤐
And for more natural cleaners i lean towards using them, we end up inhaling cleaner for A while after we use it so i think its important. Were not perfect and all organic everything but natrual cleaners are an easy swap to get chemicals out the house. I like using JAWS cleaners
If that was my child i would take everything out of her room except the bed and clothes until she can clean up after herself

Yes, we got the bug. I was with my family for my birthday. We had eaten a brunch and went to a science fair at my local college. While there I started vomiting. My bf made it home before it hit him. I threw up so hard I strained my back.

My granddaughter is messy also, what is it with them lol. Food, clothes, empty water bottles makeup and whatever. Plus she is a pack rat, under her bed is unbelievable. Your right there always has to be one.
