Super helpful video! You showed every step and saved me money as an oil extraction pump was far cheaper than car jacks or ramps. I'd never done an oil change before because of not wanting to jack up my car and fiddle with the pan etc underneath. Really appreciate showing both ways here. Thanks
Should the oil level be at max on line? I alway do it till the max line… with 7 liters. Should I not do that? I’m kinda worried now lol I have the a8 tdi looks similar.
Good info, thank you. That said, message to Audi - it's some supremely stupid or inconsiderate engineering when the entire air dam must be removed to drain the oil on one's $60K car. There's no small port cut in to drain through and to check the drain plug for leaks the next day. Also the lack of a dipstick but using a plug with 2 seals, where the dipstick could be, also qualifies for the Einstein award for thoughtful automotive engineering.
