Turns out he was told to be a bully!! All for viewing figures and for DOI to be talked about and get more attention! He had meetings about it because he didn’t want to be the villain on DOI! Pretty lousy behaviour of the executives and producers etc to promote bullying! Seems they do promote a culture of toxicity and narcissism at ITV!
It’s almost as if they saw a gay man and said ‘be like that nasty gay judge on BBC’
It's great to see so many people coming out and exposing that lying, toxic woman. She's so practiced and scripted with her answers. She's gaslighting everyone who made a complaint. Unfortunately this kind of management style is very common.

Jason Gardiner was clearly left hung out to dry by ITV after following their orders to be a “Mr Nasty” on Dancing On Ice. No thought or care for him at all & maybe someone of his lesser strength would not have been able to handle the terrible fallout that followed. Absolutely terrible treatment!

Every place you ever work has the toxic people vying for control and power, stabbing in the back and malicious gossip, it’s sickening.
Totally agree... even way down the slippery pole it is the same story. I worked as a kitchen assistant in a school and was bullied, treated badly, lied about and much more, but to hear anyone in roles higher up than me - everything was fine..we were all a 'family' we were all equal and should pull together...it was all bull shit. I left after working VERY hard for 17 years. As I walked out the door on my last day no one even said "bye" or thanked me for my years of hard work and service...there was nothing because to them I was nothing.
People must try get on. If there is a problem report it. The Company must deal with it.
As a person who was homeless. I find this idiot claiming he would rather be homeless than work for ITV again is very insulting , and to be honest he wouldn't last a weekend living on the streets.

Do you remember that show where some celebs spent a short amount of time “sleeping rough” - I put it in inverted commas because they did sleep on the streets but they obviously had some kind of protection somewhere around otherwise the production company would be sued if anything happened to them!😂 I think it was supposed to give people an idea of what it was like but I always thought it obviously did not do this. I think it was on in the 90s or early 2000s. Such a stupid show.

I know what it’s like to work in a toxic environment for years, nothing will change until the top dogs ( all of them) are made to go. Meetings will be held, enquiries set up and they will all ‘talk the talk’ as it comes easily to them because they have remained unchallenged, if only they had a fraction of the idea the Psychological damage they inflict on the underdogs ( not Philip Schofield) they need a taste of their own medicine! A new broom sweeps clean, a complete change is needed and Carolyn’s Damehood needs to be stripped!

I’m from the US. Listening to all this reminds a job I was in a lot like this. My boss was exactly like this woman. She would scream at all of us but especially me. Not condoning any mistreatment this guy faced (if his claims are true) but the irony of him complaining about how he was treated is pretty laughable after the way he regularly belittled and insulted contestants and colleagues on dancing on ice. Sounds like every company I've ever worked for where there are narcissists running the show. HR are too scared or incompetent to do any proper investigation and end up putting the blame back on the complainant, and if they are dealing with a narcissistic individual, they'll get taken in by their charm and their gift of the gab. This is normal and I can't see it ever changing, but I'm glad the toxic work culture is being called out on ITV.
Edit: Never been a fan of Jason Gardiner as he has no filter. Wouldn't surprise me if people had made complaints about him and it went nowhere.

I think alot of employees have taken part in bad behaviour and or bullying. Now they’re trying to distance themselves. A lot of people turned a blind eye about Jimmy Saville because they were under contract or were regular guests. If I worked with someone , I knew was doing wrong, I’d open my mouth and look for another job.
I spoke out at work, 5 month later I was finished under constructive dismissal, I got the union involved to take them to court only to be told take compensation because it's very hard to win a court case as they mainly rule fornthe employer.20 years unblemished service I gave them.

This man was responsible for some of the most vile and insulting comments I’ve ever heard expressed on TV. He told dame Kelly Homes who was a contestant on dancing on ice after her performance where she was wearing a brown leotard that she was like a turd going round and round the toilet bowl!!! So any whinging from him about the way he was treated us a bit rich. He regularly abused his position as a judge and said the most insulting, inexcusable and vile things to contestants and deserved to be fired! I’d have fired him much sooner!

I have worked in the construction industry all my life, I have worked for major Oil and construction companies and moved on when my time is up that's the nature of the beast. No company I have worked for has ever reached out to me when I have moved on. These people need to grow a pair (no pun intended) and just get on with it

Jason was an awful judge and im glad hes not on tv hes too toxic imo . When he was on DOI he used to really upset the ice skating professional Karen which was horrible to watch. He had nothing important to say here it just comes over like sour grapes. Im sure he did feel mistreated by ITV but would probably forgive them if they offered him dosh to come back which I hope they don't.

As somebody has mentioned here , the people at the top of pretty much every company , are very often Narcissistic, sociopathic people who have stomped on people to get to the very top! I don’t understand why psychological evaluation isn’t done more often! These people are clever, manipulating, charming and ruthless ! I mean completely and utterly ruthless ! We are governed by these people ! People dare not speak out . My father worked in TV and it was littered with these types, including my father ! I stopped watching after the series with Chemmy Alcott in it. What he said to her was inexcusable.
