Check your local big box hardware store in sept and first part of November, if they stored them outside they may be weathered and sometime they want to get rid of them at a cheaper price.
Looks great both columns look really good but I agree the one with the date on it looks better can't wait to see the finished video of your Halloween display

All the planks of wood I can find are like $40.00 each which insane... Does anyone know where I can find cheaper ones?
