Whatever CNET are paying Lexy I would recommend doubling it to make sure she doesn't go anywhere else! :) Oh and I agree, Amazfit Bip is great value for money. I want to add my 2 cents to this conversation. Let's get one thing out of the way right away. The BIP is NOT an Apple Watch. The feature set and the build and virtually everything else about the BIP is a far cry from the Apple Watch. Lexy does an amazing job in this video. She is a riot and is very knowledgeable on the subject. The Bip has two main things going for it. They are PRICE and BATTERY! If you do not want to spend the money on an Apple Watch (and I don't blame you) and you want some very basic features and you do not care about the looks. The Bip is a great product. The Bip is also so incredibly light, you do not even know that you are wearing it! I find myself giving my Bip more wrist time than my series 5 Apple Watch. I don't need anymore connection to my smartphone than I already have. The Bip tracks my steps, tracks my short and painful attempts at running and I don't have to worry about charging it daily or even weekly. I can get the weather if I want and that is about it. If you can't afford or don't want to afford the Apple Watch don't think that is a cheaper alternative. They have very little in common and you will be disappointed if that is your goal. Get the Bip for the battery and price and just enjoy the minimalistic design and ease of use. Get the Apple Watch if you have the money and want to be FULLY connected to your iphone. There is definitely a place for both watches, it just depends on your own personal wants and means! Keep up the great work Lexy!!!

Yes it is, depending on your sport. It's not really for swimming since it's only IP68, as stated on the video. You might want to wait for the 2nd iteration of it and maybe it'll come with 5ATM as the rating for water resistance. I think that is the best cheapest smartwatch with GPS. + you can see the screen more if you have bright surroundings, kind of like how you see calculator screens.
@@Nayr7928 Mi Band 4 is 5ATM which you can swim with and also a product of Xiaomi like Amazfit. It has 20 days battery life depending on the usage. The best thing is it only costs $32. At least in my country it does

@@LexySavvides Your welcome! Well it's an app with an overwhelming amount of features, but you can make everything to your liking. For emojis just go Settings(top right), tools, amazfit firmware and finally select "emoji font latin". Then of course you have to go to settings from the left humburger menu, advanced and make sure 'Display emoticons" is enabled. That's it! I set it when I got my bip months ago and it's working like it should!
QUESTIONS: 1) Can the Amazfit Bip receive Viber notifications (Call & Text) from an iPhone? 2) Can you remove fitness tracking programs like for example the Yoga? Thanks. New on your channel. Enjoyed it very much because of the video clips inserted between the reviews. Love the part on the park bench where the guy saw you wearing two smartwatches. He's a natural. Liked & Subscribed. Hi! I honestly really recommend the b 57 smart watch. Battery life it amazing! The watch is waterproof, you can customize the watch face, there’s many sport modes (swim, football, etc). It is only 35 dollars! Like I said I recommend!!!

Definitely I have the Fitbit charge 2 I'm going to upgrade to this looks mint only thing it doesn't do is blood pressure lol but I guess you would only get that on very expensive watches this good lol
gaming king 599 I have the amazfit bip, it really just an extremely entry level device. It uses the Xiaomi’s Mi fit app, while the more expensive ones use Amazfit official app. Love the 30 days battery life, tho...
Apple needs to make an Always on display toggle, because I hate when the watch is off and it just looks like a black square on the wrist , idc how much battery it kills, just GIVE ME THE DAMN OPTION

awesome review!!... i have an amazfit stratos and love it. I also have a fossil gen4 exolorist. I like it too, but prefer the amazfit stratos. Stratos battery life is not as good as the bip, but still really good.

I just ordered an Amazfit Bip on eBay for 13 dollars. Is it possible that I ordered a knockoff of a cheap Chinese watch? I can't imagine how it could be much cheaper, but I guess I'll find out when it arrives!
I just want to know if the amazfit has accurate counting steps and calories as the apple watch cause I do alot of activities in the day with the amazfit and I end with only 80 calories burned and this is very disappointing to me so I am thinking for another brand to use.

Pebble. Buy a used Pebble on ebay. 1000x better than Amazfit Bip. Sign up with Rebble to keep your Pebble working into the future. Rebble is free, but has options to pay if you feel so inclined.
Until the nice soft buttons fall off as they did mine. I was a massive pebble fan but now I'm a broke but happy galaxy watch owner. The blipfitbitblob or whatever, probably would have done the job for me!
I would choose the Amazfit in a heartbeat! Attractive pricing and functionality are ok! Must admit I just don't like Apple products, that could be a big deal for me.

Had my BIP for awhile now, my kids got ahold of it and I thought it was gone forever. Just found it behind the dresser haha! So happy!
