I own a 2014 journey sxt. It was my first brand new car. Nothing too luxury just simple and works. Now that I’ve had it almost ten years and only put maybe $1000 in repairs I’m happy. Just a good all around commuter. Great for road trips, car camping, I’ve even worked security over night and stayed in it comfortably. Only wish mine had a backup camera.
I own a 2019 SE Blacktop edition and we love our Journey is very reliable and confort. for the price its a great Crossover in our more than 2 years of ownership
My husband just bought me this car I wanted a Mercedes Benz but with a newborn and 2 teenagers this was best option for a mom I absolutely love the color and the fact that 7 people can fit
Agreed. It is very comfortable. Not saying they couldn't have fancied it up a bit more but at least it's affordable. 3rd row seating is ok for kids as intended. A bit underpowered if you get the 4 cyl but great fuel economy. I'm not looking to race anyone. Great value. Nothing but props for this car. It's built like a tank and very safe.
@Rawanddd well, just as I thought. Interior is very cheap, it drives like crap, the controls for heat/ac suck. Absolutely nothing special about it. It gets me where I need to go and that's about it and I'm stuck with it for 6 years. But it's all I could afford, so oh well.
this truck is impressive except they should have put in a better radio with at least bluetooth. as far as power, I own a pt cruiser and they provide enough power when needed. Ive never been in much of a hurry to get where im going anyway.
I got a 2015 black blacktop package mine came with 19 inch wheels and the 8.4 touch screen I've done a lot to mine they don't even have the ring of fire led tail lights on that one or fog lights
This isnt a 2020 model, the 2020 model has led taillights and come standard with an 8 inch touchscreen and also those interior lights are straight from 2010 the newer 2020 models have led interior lights that glow a blueish white color. How do I know this? Well because I have one and know this video is cap.
In front of the left front tire behind the dust shield. Gotta jack the car up and remove the front left tire. Then remove the liner by popping off the fasteners.
@@BrebbanIsHere Pretty reliable too. I bought a 2012 Journey 4cyl in 2016 and gave it to my little brother in 2019 when I paid it off and he gave it to my youngest brother this past winter, still running even though it's beat up and been dogged out by two teenage boys, and I wasn't easy on it either lol.
I have an opportunity to get one of these from a local lot with the only 2 upgrades you can get, blacktop and upgraded & 4.3 screen (i believe exactly like this one reviewed. Dealer is asking $20,750. Would this be a good value? MSRP is 27,705.

@@gdziejestmojpies bad build quality inside, I've had so much trouble with breaks, handbrake and break cables more than any other car. Bearings + suspension bushes also been an issue all wear really fast.
i agree with the commentator, this truck is not what you think. Just brought one BIG mistake, 1. DONT DARE try to merge on the high way into traffic it's acceleration SHITTY. passing DOUBLE SHITTY you can pass faster with a stick in a 92 honda civic. 2. sound system, the speakers are the lowest quality you could buy from a crack head.( in the process of changing out all speakers) 3. handling, feels like turning a corner on a tricycle. No room in the back rows for adults im glad i dont have kids young to put in the back. for one person, it's ight. OH almost forgot there are no type of modifications you cant even put covers for the brake shoes...
1. Probably because you don’t have the v6, the v6 pushes and gives this car nearly 300 horsepower 2. That’s cap, I own one and the speakers are great, the alpine sound system is perfectly loud and the bass modifications and being able to control how loud it is in certain areas through the infotainment screen really helps. 3. Once again I own one and let me tell you a story of how this cars handholding and awd system saved me from spending thousands on repairs. I was driving from Chicago and the roads were extremely slippery and Icy because it was a snow storm at the time and I hit a particularly slippery spot and started swerving and luckily I knew the right maneuvers and this combined with the handling and awd helped me stay out of the ditch mind you I saw a Toyota 4Runner and Ford f-150 on the side of the road which means that the handling in my little journey was better than the handling in these cars built for stuff like this. I’ve never been so prideful to have owned a journey.
Nice Journey bro👍👍👍I have a 2014 black top model too in grey too but???? you have the most shittly engine in that dodge!!! And i mean that !! I have the 3.6 v6 penastar which turns out 280 hp and about 300 foot pounds of torque that 2.4 four bagger is a piece of crap😂😂😂😂😂😂174 hp were the fuck are you going plus you have a seven passenger 😂😂😂😂 good luck going up a mountain 😂😂😂😂…….. dodge stop making the v6 in 2020 and when i found out that dodge stop making the v6 in Dodge Journey I decided to keep my 2014 black top !! How’d you go from a Benz to a journey..??
Of course you wanted a Benz … women’s always trying impress .. smh only reason you wanted a Benz
this car's interior is not cheap, we have done car camping for a week, and loved the comfort. looks are beautiful, and very nice for the price.

I just bought one and am so nervous because of all the bad reviews. How's yours running today?

I like my 2017 se it has the 2 rows and has more under floor storage in back. Just hit 110,000 miles with many more to go. Its been good for me.
the 4 speed transmission and easy to work on 4 cylinder would probably never break
thing that is crazy is the 4 speed auto. i mean if this was a car in the early 2000’s i’d understand but in 2020? at least put in a 6 speed
The 6 speed only comes with the v6
I love the way it looks!
Its radio doesnot have a bluetooth
This inspires me to buy one
Love the honesty😂
