Would be interesting to see you do a full Titleist Performance Institute assessment, all filmed, and actually follow up on the complete exercise and practice recommendations, would make great content series….
Bravo to you James. We can tell you love your golf and there's a lot of talent in there. Only wish I could afford that Hack Motion. I like practising and knowing you are practising the right things would be a fame changer 👏
People have commented before about what looks like a slight lifting of the clubhead at the start of the backswing... a twitch up and outside or so it looks on video.
That was really interesting and shows the massive value of Hackmotion. Really good to see you taking it seriously and improving...it is your job though, I suppose. I WISH Hackmotion could help ME, but no, unfortunately both my hands are completely crippled by rheumatoid arthritis, so i swing how i swing, and that's it. Still manage to maintain a single figure handicap though...just!
OK, my two cents worth: I suspect a slight balance issue, in looking at the movement of your left foot - both as you take the club back (foot lifts) and through the impact area (foot shifts/spins). I say focus on getting your left foot stable and your strikes will get more consistent. Thanks/MG.
Good point. And this applies to me. Felt unstable in my front foot during the swing. Front foot felt “light” on the downswing, rather than “planted” and heavy. As soon as I focussed on maintaining a planted front foot, ball striking improved massively. Greetings from Down-Under.
Love your swing JRob, it's very repeatable and simple. You have a lot less wrist hinge at the top of your backswing than most. Personally, I hit my driver better with less wrist hinge at the top.
Good comment above re alignment, shoulders are open to stance, hard to see on camera but it looks that way to me, also i think visualisation is lacking
"I'm not the specimen I used to be", maybe you and Bobby shouldn't have dozens of snacks in your bags on your outings! 🤔 😂 Just teasing a bit, love the content!!
If his face and path were lining up and his contact was good, doesn’t that indicate that his wrists are working fine? Wouldn’t keeping his shoulders on path instead of 2 degrees left work?
Setting up with your feet sq and then tapping/moving your left one towards the target while swinging can't help you I don't believe. 🤷🏻♂️ You don't do it in your slow motion drill. It has to move your left hip left of the target because you aren't setting up open but then move to open in the swing = pull imo. Love watching both of you guys.
Your shpulders look open at address Put a cub across your elbows at address and see where it points. I think it will be pointing well left of target. Your right elbow looks higher then the left.
James I am a huge fan of you and your channel but I truly believe your issue is your mindset is trying to uncoil the hips too much and too fast. Your short shots are going on a better path because you are not opening the hips so fast. I would like to see you frame the ball at impact with hips square to the ball on full swings. You have unbelievable hands I think you change your path numbers huge. You are becoming an upper core golfer. Check out Larry Rinker and Wright Balance Science to see what that means for you
Your feet are way too close together at address, even with an iron. Spread them and flare your feet out ever so slightly. You look off balance in your swing.

Really happy to see ya working on that pull you have ingrained. Going to be a long road ahead but worth the drive

James another great video, love the content..keep them coming brother. God Bless
Could it be you get fitted for a set of clubs and two weeks later you get fit for a new set of clubs?
Well done James 👏 😊
This is such a good video. Chris is a good instructor. I hope that he can get the subs up on his channel so that he can reap the benefits.
That hack motion is some bit of kit, keep up the good work James

👍🙌 for the honest, humble premise.

I’d trade for your swing and game in a heartbeat

If you are looking to try something else then have a go at Liam Robinson’s stuff
Hitting towels & taking steps.

practice makes perfect

I agree with this comment, alignment doesn't look good between feet and shoulders, hard to see on camera.
Gadgets!!!!
Use a more forgiving club
🤦🏼♂️
James, stop talking and let Chris run the conversation
Can I get a job with James Robinson please, you must pay 500k a year with 30 weeks of paid vacation, right Bobby?
Why is everything in James videos all gone negative

I was once told that the 100% way to fix any golf problems was to take two weeks off.......
Then quit. Problem solved.😂😮😅😊
New channel idea: Dad Bod Golf with James Robinson
Current channel idea: Permanently block you from commenting further.
