I recently ordered 2 fairway woods and two wedges directly from Tour Edge and had both orders in a couple days. I had purchased a putter from them a few months ago as well. Love their customer service and the quality of their products.
Unlike my favorite RUclipsrs who love Tour Edge yet will never put it in the bag…..my C725 is on order and arriving next week. Still love your content James 🥃
Another great head to head review. I feel the big guns in the market have a smaller improvement window each subsequent year to stay within the current rules, while there is a greater improvement window for companies like tour edge. I find it somewhat "surprising" the big companies all come out with a unison improvement every year. Last year was forgiveness. This year forgiveness with distance. Thanks James and the crew for putting out such interesting and enjoyable content on a daily basis.
I prefer the matte crown look, because the glare of the shiny drivers get from the sun. If I were to go after Tour Edge, I would be curious how customizable, as I like the Cobra's new adapter, where I can make it more flat, without dropping loft, like taylormade.
How about this slogan...... Here at Tour Edge we've uped our stadards.....So up yours! Another great review James. I play the Tour Edge c723 driver and e723 irons and absolutely love them both. For the money you just can't beat them. God Bless you brother and Merry Christmas
2025 will be adaptability and Cobra have jumped the gun. The new Callaway Elyte and Ping 440 both have three weight ports in the sole, which affords plenty of tinkering, not sure what the hosel adjustment difference’s are as the USGA web site only offers pictures. But common denominator in the 3 listed above is adjustability, so a fitters dream. What will be the result, same average distances and dispersion, so only change your driver if yours is on its way out.
I use a gt2, I wish the tee marks were easier to get off, but I use a white tee on purpose. I like to see where my strike is during a round so I can adjust. Another great vid!
I'm looking forward to trying the new Cobra. It's nice that they came out with a neutral forgiving driver for those of us right handers who miss left. I'm hoping some others have followed suit.
Looked like the tour edge performed better on your lovely simulator. Here's a question. These cheaper drivers perform just as good as the stupidly priced ones, and you and all the other You-tubers say this could easily be going in the bag this year....... they never do. Why say it, if it isn't ever going to happen. Just say it's just as good as the over-priced drivers, but there's no chance in hell, that this will make it into my bag..... It doesn't have the snob value.
I have a Wilson launchpad 2 ...and a rogue Callaway triple diamond..they cost me the same but ones supposed to be superior..and it's a little better I could go with either but the Callaway is better overall
You recently evaluated the offering from Wilson Dynapwr and raved how good they are. I’d be curious to hear your thoughts on comparing the E725 with the new Wilson max and full carbon.
Well, an honest slogan would be, “ more money, same amount of fairways missed. Welcome to your new Title list/tour edge/Taylormade/cobra.” 😂 great stuff is always James fairways and greens my friend and merry Christmas or as you darn Brits say it, happy Christmas.
James, great vid, cheers. Can you help me though - is there anywhere in the UK that I can get fitted for the Tour Edge e725? Maybe I'm being stupid but can't seem to find it anywhere...
I been thinking about getting fitted for the Tour Edge this winter…. Driver is my biggest issue with my score each round …. When I hit the driver well I can play in the 70’s … I know it’s my swing issues but any help is a good thing ⛳️🏌🏻♂️😂
My opinion from a player that’s been pretty good my entire life. If you kick your buddy’s ass on the course your score and shots will bring envy over what clubs you play or what club it took you to hit the green at what distance. If I kick your ass using nothing but a cheap 6 iron from tee to green that’s what matters in the end. Ego is fleeting always.
C725 is the players version, not the 10k one. That's the E725, but I'm curious if this version of the Titleist is the apples to apples version or if that's Gt1 or 3?
Unfortunately in Canada, TourEdge isn’t popular enough to be carried by our golf chain stores, I won’t buy a club without demoing it first. The stores will order it for me but my other concern is the poor resale value of it after. Something you don’t often mention! As I don’t keep a driver more than 3 seasons max.
I must say this Tour edge is selling me , the McGregor driving iron as well , you could get both and still have 200 left over for wedges lol and still beat your buddy who has a driver worth half your bag. I will say tho I have never liked a driver with a adjustable weight so that would def be a must hit before I buy cause I've tried 3 and just do not like the feel of it or the drives.
Bought a brand new cobra LDTx max for $150 and it’s better than just about anything else. Can’t wait for the rush to buy the darkspeed adapt. Should be able to get a spare darkspeed max for $120-150 sometime soon.
Price goes down, but they are as good as the day they came out. Should use a driver or a golf club until it deteriorates enough to warrant replacement. Which should be many years.
Howncan you say that the tour edge is cheaper? I tried to buy an tour edge driver and when the import taxes and delivery were added it was almost the same price as the Titleist Hope you can respond
2025 will combine high MOI (not 10K+) and mid to low spin (more distance). The problem with the 10K is that heavy weight in the very back of the head caused increased dynamic loft and spin. More distance with say 9K MOI is going to be the "sweet spot" where manufacturers will compete. Imagine having a forgiving (not the most forgiving.... but still forgiving) driver and a 15 yard gain.
I think you’re making a massive casing point with no real substantial meaning there. Most “RUclipsrs” I know are also Pros. So whilst reviewing more cost effective products for you guys to see is great, we are always gonna use what’s best or what we feel more comfortable with? This is our job not a hobby trying to save money on?
Tour Edge products have always performed as well as anything on the market it's just that they used to feel and sound terrible. I don't care much about sound but I do care about feel. Now that Tour Edge feels as good or better than anything on the market I just don't know why anyone would spend their money anywhere else. Okay, I get it, not every brand works for everyone. But if players would test what's actually best overall especially on a cost basis and not just what club gave them three extra yards Tour Edge would be the number one brand in golf.
Not really a fair comparison since the GT2 had a 9 deg loft and the Tour Edge was a 10.5 deg loft. Spin and total distance numbers should be discounted because of it. You can go to other RUclipsr accounts and the spin numbers on the Tour Edge C driver are wayyy lower
James if you want to protect ALL your clubs from tee marks and crown hits do what I do. Automotive car wax after cleaning. I wax the shafts and heads and the driver face, but not the face of the irons at least twice a month.
unless you have a high swing speed like the tour guys 95% of all drivers in the past 5 years perform all the same. driver degree and shaft and weight setup is that you find the best for you
Isn’t the C725 you are using their “low spinning” version and the GT2 the more forgiving version. Should have gone GT3 verse the C725 for a more apples to apples test.
This is NOT a criticism of this video as I think the Tour Edge stuff is exceptional and is well reviewed here, however I do think that golf reviewers are really going to struggle to review new kit this year. I would lay good odds on the fact that very very little is going to change or improve in new equipment for 2025, the only thing that is going to progress/increase is the price ! We are going to get a flood of comments and reviews extolling the virtues of this or that micro millimetre enhancement with basically the exact same results as last year and even the year before that. Don’t get me wrong, new kit needs to be reviewed and if you haven’t bought a new driver/hybrid/irons or whatever in 5 or more years then you need a choice for the latest kit out there but reviewers and manufacturers need to catch on that the great unwashed masses out here in the real world are starting to realise that it is all hype and marketing bull poo !
To be honest Paul not much changes every year. I think anyone wanting to gain 20 yards by buying a new driver is gonna be disappointed just like other years. But then anyone who just fancied a change will be very excited
@@JamesRobinsonGolffor me the most informative part of this review is, exactly the same performance roughly 2/3rds the price ! Excuse the pun but that’s of real value !
GT2 is a better driver. There R&D is one of the best right up there with Ping and Callaway. If you play a few times a year, sure go for the cheaper Tour Edge. If you're playing once a week like me, im spending the extra $ and going for the GT. That being said, my custom fit TSR3 isn't going anywhere, at least until i retire in about 3 or 4 years. Best driver ever and i've been golfing just over 30 years
Tour edge performs better. But it won’t make your bag. We know this. Have no clue why people take your channel seriously. Must be a lot of bored people out there.
@ no bad weekend here James. You avoided my statement and did not deny it. You’re an industry whore who chases whatever manufacturer lines your pockets. Everyone should know that by now. Your response was the typical you tube response. The I have a large following live in my own bubble better than people response. It’s pathetic. Think long and hard about it. You’re a RUclips golfer that is brand bias. You literally bring nothing of value to society.
Titleist clubs look boring to me. I know they have an avid fan base (like Ping) but they seem rather plain. Excellent performance, just boring looking.
adjust-ability. thats the name of the game. more companies want to make their drivers versatile and more accessible to players who want to hit the absolute best shot possible. Only thing is more people won't know that its only really good for fitting and not good anywhere else
I recently ordered 2 fairway woods and two wedges directly from Tour Edge and had both orders in a couple days. I had purchased a putter from them a few months ago as well. Love their customer service and the quality of their products.
But where do you live
Unlike my favorite RUclipsrs who love Tour Edge yet will never put it in the bag…..my C725 is on order and arriving next week. Still love your content James 🥃
Tour edge make some great stuff ...well done James for reviewing them throughout the last few years
Tour Edge appear much underrated across their whole range 😊
Another great head to head review. The Cobra is the way to go for me.
I put the E725 in the bag a couple of weeks ago. Price, forgiveness, and some extra distances. Couldn't be happier with it.
I paid $137 for my Kirkland driver. Works great. No issues with it.
Looked like the tour edge performed better on your lovely simulator. Here's a question. Spot on mate, oh and in their bag maybe means 2 or 3 rounds as they are constantly changing clubs anyway.
From an ex-snob you will learn that no one is impressed with your club but will be with your score and shots.
Absolutely sums up this channel
Because our lovely RUclips friends can't get beyond the top brands...I can't blame them, actually!
I have a Wilson launchpad 2 ...and a rogue Callaway triple diamond..they cost me the same but ones supposed to be superior..and it's a little better I could go with either but the Callaway is better overall
I like the carbon dull look .
Bought the tour edge exotics exs blades on a whim… absolutely love them. Quality clubs for sure
You recently evaluated the offering from Wilson Dynapwr and raved how good they are. I’d be curious to hear your thoughts on comparing the E725 with the new Wilson max and full carbon.
If the Touredge is even close, then for the price it’s a no brainer!
Well, an honest slogan would be, “ more money, same amount of fairways missed. Welcome to your new Title list/tour edge/Taylormade/cobra.” 😂 great stuff is always James fairways and greens my friend and merry Christmas or as you darn Brits say it, happy Christmas.
Try using aftershave or body ßodyspray on a cloth rub on white marks and they will go in no time
James, great vid, cheers. Can you help me though - is there anywhere in the UK that I can get fitted for the Tour Edge e725? Maybe I'm being stupid but can't seem to find it anywhere...

James use magic eraser. Tee mark easy removal
Nice you used the same shafts. 👍
I don't know how they do it, but tour edge clubs go really far. Mine are over 10 years old, and they still amaze me.
Mornin Robbo! Looking forward to your opinions on the rest of the brands' new releases over the next couple of months too.
Did you try moving the heavier weight to the front on the Tour Edge to lower the spin?
I’ve looked at a few of the new drivers in 25 but I play the gt2 and won’t be changing it for a long time 👌👌👌
For those in the UK, I saw a post on TE's Twitter site saying American Golf UK is planning on bringing in TE clubs in the spring.
I think there's a import charge of £80 for the tour edge if you buy on their website. Are they sold in the UK at £320??
Where in the North West of England can I try and by the Tour Edge driver?
James I’ve recently brought a PXG 2 wood
C725 is the players version, not the 10k one. That's the E725, but I'm curious if this version of the Titleist is the apples to apples version or if that's Gt1 or 3?

I sell them with demos in Hamilton, Ontario and Golftown are selling them when requested
They have a 30 day guarantee
Funny, i have a fitting for a c725 in 3 hours.
Wooley Park looks grand again.
I must say this Tour edge is selling me , the McGregor driving iron as well , you could get both and still have 200 left over for wedges lol and still beat your buddy who has a driver worth half your bag.

Should be able to get a spare darkspeed max for $120-150 sometime soon.
I got a Ltdx back in March for $250.
Does the DARKSPEED have the same adapter?
Got a Ltdx 5 and 7 wood also.
Those Ltdx clubs are great.
Yea it's easy to get Cobras last years model for cheap because they tank in value for some reason very fast.
Price goes down, but they are as good as the day they came out. Should use a driver or a golf club until it deteriorates enough to warrant replacement. Which should be many years.
Howncan you say that the tour edge is cheaper?

Depends what country you're in doesn't it. It is cheaper in Europe and USA.

Magic eraser does not get thsm off easy ? I use that and do not have any problems but have not had any recent tit drivers
New selling point this coming year we’ve put the sock thingy back on the head cover what else can they do now 😂
My 725 is out for delivery presently. :)
Funny how all the RUclips creators all talk up the "lesser" brands but they never end up in their bags unless sponsored. e.g. Takomo
I think you’re making a massive casing point with no real substantial meaning there. Most “RUclipsrs” I know are also Pros. Great head to head James
Appreciate you TT. Have an amazing Christmas

Id like to see the Tour edge 10k against the ping 10k
Titleist 9.0 tour edge 10.5?? Not same loft
He would have cranked the tour edge down to 9
They are set the same 👍🏼
Speed.... I am speed.
I wax the shafts and heads and the driver face, but not the face of the irons at least twice a month.
still can't get in the uk
“Thermoform Crown”
I have been selling Tour Edge products for year with increasing popularity. Too many golfers caught up in hype with little substance.
Don't think you like titleist since they fitted you in gt2 not gr3 you really weren't happy
unless you have a high swing speed like the tour guys 95% of all drivers in the past 5 years perform all the same. driver degree and shaft and weight setup is that you find the best for you
What I really wanted to see is the c725 against the gt3
🤦🏼♂️
I’ll wait to find a GT in a year.
Exactly! I just got a TSR2 demo in my specs for $400 Cdn.
@ tech doesn’t change that much. I have a TSI3. The ball goes in the fairway, and far. My back up is an M2. I really don’t see much difference.
Cash to play! Costs are way to high.
LAB tech in drivers and woods in ‘25.
Can’t buy your edge for £325 in England you have to pay delivery and import tax come to another 180 poundxs
Isn’t the C725 you are using their “low spinning” version and the GT2 the more forgiving version. Should have gone GT3 verse the C725 for a more apples to apples test.
No mate. Do more research on the GT2 and the ch ages they have made 👍🏼

Budget doesn’t mean inferior esp in the case of tour edge. It’s just what club fits you best. There’s no best driver any year.
Is it though? Alot of that extra cost is sponsorship money. If they both do the same for an individual why spend more money?
I'll bet you that the 2025 Tour Edge driver is £499...nothing more to say.
It’s like £350 Steve as I said?
@JamesRobinsonGolf oh sorry, must have missed that, mate.
Pointless really as you can't buy the C725 or E in this country 😡
Course you can … www.touredge.com/products/tour-edge-c725-driver?srsltid=AfmBOop_sCUTV46RJ9y2fkSv607nx0CGLn92CSQkn2jUI3LvrZhZIC2A
Nope….shipped from USA £80😂
For 2025? Same old crap until the end of time
Happy Christmas
Tour edge performs better. But it won’t make your bag. We know this.
