In this video there is a small error concerning the Kingdom of Italy because its official anthem which goes from 1871 to 1946 is the Marcia Reale and not Giovinezza which is instead the official anthem of the fascist party. Edit:In reality, the national anthems of Yugoslavia and Iraq should also have been on this list, because the first was part of the Tripartite Pact for 23 days, while the second fought the British with few supplies from Germany and Italy.
1:24 the anthem of the kingdom of Italy is wrong. That is the anthem of the fascist party. The kingdom had the "royal March". Unfortunately it's true that both the anthems were song in the official parades.
Here are the axis countries most of them are 'land lock' countries. And comparatively lesser massive overseas territories who can provide them proper resources both material and human resources were lesser or almost having no territories that's why they lost the war otherwise those were skilled militaries than allied forces at that time. Kingdom of Japan and Thailand also helped to cause of armed independence movement in indian subcontinent and southeast Asia.
One of the real reasons was Yugoslavia with its constant partisan-ness. Only Hungary and Slovakia were landlocked, and also it was not the Kingdom of Japan. It was the Empire of Japan.
Thailand and Finland are the two of my favorites countries out of the Axis Powers, both still exist to this day (same government I guess), both switches sides, both never officially signed the Tripartite pact, and both have really cool flags 🇫🇮🇹🇭

There is an unofficial instrumental and fictitious anthem for the Byzantine Empire written by Two Steps from Hell in 2012. But the Byzantine Empire never had a real anthem same case for the anthem of the Roman Empire.

Most of them has access to the sea Wdym
Thailand and Finland are the two of my favorites countries out of the Axis Powers, both still exist to this day (same government I guess), both switches sides, both never officially signed the Tripartite pact, and both have really cool flags 🇫🇮🇹🇭

The actual anthem of the Italian Social Republic was Fratelli d’Italia / Il canto degli Italiani, which is the same anthem of modern Italy. Giovinezza was the anthem of the fascist party.
As cool as this is, Finland was never an Axis country. Commonly considered as a country with no alliance, a reason why most maps would color them separately than the Allied or Axis ones.
Luftwaffe using Finnish airports to bomb the shit out of Leningrad: Remember, we are non-existant!
In the context that Finland found itself in, there would be no reason for Finland to be ashamed of fighting alongside the Axis.
Finland is axis
But Soviet is axis first
Finland was axis in all but name. And concidering the circumstances, perfectly understandable.
Finland aligned with the Axis against the Soviet Union, sorry but this idea that Finland was neutral is a Finnish nationalist myth
Why did you not use Marcia Reale for Kingdom of Italy?
Oct.1943 Italy(Kingdom of Italy) Switches Sides in World War II. Mussolini, who was rescued by the Nazis from an Italian prison and made the leader of a puppet state, the Italian Social Republic, in parts of Italy not occupied by Allied forces.

Important note Bulgaria is a Tsarsdom not a Kingdom!!!
Edit: Siamese has fixed it but only in the timestamps. I don't blame him we don't have to know everything 😃!
Tsar a slavic transliteration of ceasar would be more similar to emperor one rung below Augustus the title of the byzantine emperor
@@t.wcharles2171 I am fully aware of that and this is why I said that using the term kingdom for Bulgaria and Russia (since Serbia adopted the title king and the other slavic nations were split between Austria and Russia) is incorrect! @@ΠαῦλοςΠαυλίδης-χ7θ what about byzantine anthem?
@- Lidavaz - The Byzantine Empire lasted from the late ancient-early medieval eras and back then national anthems weren’t really a thing, sure they had military songs and songs for parades, but it didn’t have an official anthem.
There is an unofficial instrumental and fictitious anthem for the Byzantine Empire written by Two Steps from Hell in 2012. But the Byzantine Empire never had a real anthem same case for the anthem of the Roman Empire.
Why does Slovakia have the same anthem as Yugoslavia? The words are the same, the music is the same, the only difference is the language.
Well.. Maybe it's because it's originally a slovak poem and the anthem " Hej Slováci" written by Samuel Štefánik in 1834, which was used after some 111 years later as the Yugoslav anthem "Hey Slaveni".
@@martinhlavon I didn't know this anthem was written in 1834, long before Slovakia joined the Axis Powers. But why doesn't Slovakia use this anthem, and instead has the anthem it had when it was still part of Czechoslovakia?
