What a great tutorial - have not seen a better demonstration of doing rib on these machines - v-neck does seem pretty involved but nothing like knitting by hand - I've been inspired to pull out my black+decker workmate portable workbench and reattaching my addi king to it and giving it a go - thanks
What a wonderful, clear and understandable video tutorial!❤ thank you for taking your time and effort for us. I didn’t catch the name of the yarn you used. Your machine loved it. I’m just starting out, so will check out your other videos. I’m too big for just one back panel 😂
Thank you so much! I appreciate your feedback! I don't have the label for the yarn--it's been in my stash a long time. I think it's this: www.lionbrand.com/products/mandala-baby It stitched up so easily in the machine!
Hi Melissa. May I say, What a wonderful, clear and understandable video tutorial!❤ thank you for taking your time and effort for us. just what I was looking for. can't wait to try it out. thanks agian for the video.
Wow are you good at this. Thank you. I will need to do 2 front and 2 back panels. You said on front V neck, your decreased every other row after row 70 , but then it seems you count out 4 rows between decreases , (watched with barking dogs) so I may have missed something but hoped you could clarify please. Again great tutorial. Thank you
I plan on making another video that really shows very slowly how to do the v-neck decreases. If you think of it as every other row just on the decrease side, that might help clarify it a bit. Thanks so much for your feedback!
On the Bond knitting machine I always started with waste yarn on all pieces then finished the garment by putting on 2 needles and completed it by knitting the rib by hand. You can also knit the rib first and then put it on the machine, far neater than this Sentro knitted rib.
Melissa I have a question, would it be possible to knitted the sleeves directly if you mounted the stitches from the panels that are already knitted? Hope I make sense 😊
immediately grabbed my machine to make this! i finished the first sleeve but when slip stitching off the waste yarn on the end it made it too tight and it wont fit over my shoulder, should i undo it or is there a way to make it looser?
I'm sorry to hear that happened. I would do the slip stitches again really loosely--I made them so loosely, they seemed really extreme. But it makes a difference!
Thanks for your great tutorial! ❤I have a ?.. idk what I’m doing wrong but after I m done doing The rib part on the sleeve. and start cranking , to do the 100 rows, I some how start dropping stitches? On the first row after the rib technique. I’ve taken this off and undone the sleeves completely and re watched the video 4 times, and re tried doing the rib, & sleeve, and I am still am dropping stitches right after the ribbing part? 😶🌫️🫥🫨🫨🫨🫨🫨🫨. Pls help me lol 😅 I am so new at this and idk what I’m doing so wrong. I’ve slowed down the playback speed and followed so closely …. So I thought but I’m still dropping the first row of stitches every single time? 😮 pls help me 😝
Thank you so much for this tutorial, it's very thorough and I'm going to try to make the ribbing as well as putting the stitches back on the machine. I tried to put them back on the machine a long time ago and had a really rough time with it. What yarn did you use please and what weight is it, is it a DK weight, cat 3. It looks alot like mandala yarn from Lionbrand but this color way looks a bit different from the mandala cake colors. Thanks
Hi! Definitely give the sweater a try! It's not bad at all. Unfortunately, someone gave me that yarn without the label on it and I couldn't figure what it was. I agree about it not being mandala due to the color way. I wish I knew because I would buy it again! It's DK/3 weight.
Thanks for this good Video. I want to try this on my sentro 48 machine. With which yarn weight do you work/ which needle sizes in mm needs the yarn. Nice greetings from Germany.
I have the same machine and... How can you use that! I make a try but that not big enough for my head!! How can you do a full pullover??? I need to know this, now.
Thank you! Finally, I can make a jumper ( what Aussies call a sweater). Thanks for sharing and hello from Queensland Australia.
Thank you so much!!! Happy knitting!!!
Thank you for this amazing tutorial. Very informative and educational. Can’t wait to try this!
Thank you x 1000! Such a cute project and especially with the rainbow colors. Can't wait to gift these to friends for Pride next month
Thank you! Enjoy!
This was amazing to watch!!! I want to try it! Thank you for this tutorial
Thank you! You should definitely try it!

Finally found a tutorial for V neck sweater! Thank you so much for your tutorial. Can you do a V neck sleeveless sweater vest please?
Thank you! Yes, I'm working on one! 😀

Beautiful. A bit advanced for me, right now. But I will definitely add it to my list
Definitely! You’ll be able to make it in no time!

@@auntmelissacrafts you are welcome
absolutely incredible tutorial! thank you so so much
Thank you! It was fun to make!
I am waiting for my Sentro machine and i have to make this, all though in a bigger size ;) :D
But wow it looks good :)
That's so awesome! Let me know how it goes!
Thank you for this. I'm inspired to give it a go. How much yarn is needed?
You’re welcome! Took around two skeins!
Hi. Hope I did not miss the info...how much yarn do I need for this sweater and what size is this 1? Please. Would love to try
Hi, it took three skeins of yarn. It's around a size small.
On the Bond knitting machine I always started with waste yarn on all pieces then finished the garment by putting on 2 needles and completed it by knitting the rib by hand. You can also knit the rib first and then put it on the machine, far neater than this Sentro knitted rib.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve done that as well, but had had issue with holes. Do you know how to fix that?
Melissa I have a question, would it be possible to knitted the sleeves directly if you mounted the stitches from the panels that are already knitted? Hope I make sense 😊
That sounds like a real possibility! I haven’t done it myself. If you try it, let me know how it goes!

i thought so! im just worried undoing it will unravel the rest, much easier when the waste yarn shows me what to do hah

Hi! Good luck! I used medium weight yarn; the machine is the equivalent to 8mm needles. Let me know how it goes!
I love it
Thank you!
You make it look so easy, I can't get the stitch to stay on after I move it to the other peg.
Are you talking about making the decreases? Just make sure both stitches are pushed all the way to the bottom of the peg. Hope that helps!
How many grams/meters of yarn did you use for this? ❤
I don’t know the weight, but it took three medium sized skeins.
Wow you make this look so easy I want to live with you and I want you to show me how to do this😂
Haha! Thank you!
In french please tank you it Williams be fantastic
I believe you can change the subtitles to different languages.
How do you make different sizes like women’s xl
You can make 2 or three panels and sew them together! 😁
Waaaw Amazing thank you honey ❤
You are so welcome 🤗
de cuanto es la maquina sabeis? quiero hacer mangas
The sleeves are the width of the machine. Make them as two long tubes and then sew them inside.
I have the same machine and... How can you use that!
I make a try but that not big enough for my head!!
How can you do a full pullover???
I need to know this, now.
Hi! Just start your neckline sooner and work up the sides. You’re probably making the neckline too high if I had to guess. Good luck!
@@auntmelissacrafts I didn't do a pullover.
I did a cilinder.
And didn't work at all
In plus, for make a pullover must be minimum the dobble bigger.
Hello, could I use a 40-needle needle?...I don't know if it will pay me to buy less than 48
You could! You can just make two panels and sew them together so it can fit
@@auntmelissacrafts Thank you 🙋🏼♀️🌻...you've convinced me ☺️
@@eslipijolou Yay!😄
Merci avec les sous-titres en français c est beaucoup plus facile
Thanks!
What size is this sweater? I’m a 2x will it fit?
I suggest knitting a center panel to put between these two sides. This pattern is approximately a small
this machine will need has 96 needles
I really wish they had a bigger machine!
@@auntmelissacraftsi' m not meet a big machine
