I thought the big green chu chu, while not a wonderful boss mechanically, was a very clever use of the tiny-link mechanic, showing a regular enemy as it would appear to someone minish-sized.
The truly dissapionting boss in Zelda botw is ganons second form. Its the easiest boss fight in the game and always just annoying, like he cant even hit you.
Seriously? Odolwa? And not Gyorg or Twinmold (if counting the 3DS remake). Odolwa is an awesome unpredictable fight what breaks away from the usual zelda format of "Use item then kill with sword"
I disagree on a few: Majora’s Mask: Gyorg… stand by the water’s edge and shoot Twilight Princess: Morpheel… it doesn’t even attack you. Breath of the Wild: Dark Beast Ganon… it’s so not a fight it’s practically a cutscene
Honestly I didn't stand Gyorg in the N64 version because 99.99% of the time he always swallows me every time I try to get back onto the platform. At least in the 3DS version he just stand in one place and tried to suck you into his mouth. All you have to do it just swim in place in one direction until he tires out, while also trying to unhook one of the mines
Morpheel actually does attack you once it starts swimming. Although tbf, I didn't know that until I watched my sister stream her playthrough a few months ago 😂
I actually really enjoy the big green chu chu just because the fact that a random normal enemy becomes a boss for a minish. The concept is very cool even if he isn’t strong at all.
I mean disliking a boss for being too easy while it is the FIRST boss in the game and it's supposed to be easy... Odalwa is basically the "tutorial boss". Like Queen Gohma in Ocarina of Time... just aim at his eye and shoot... then slash at it... super easy. Doesn't mean it's a bad boss. Or the worst in this case. However, I do agree on the remake Odalwa... just the entire "eye getting bigger and bigger target" on all bosses... I hate it
Omg thank you, a easy early boss isnt a bad boss on the contrary, the best bosses when it comes to the difficulty aspect are the ones that are harder than the previous but easier than the next kupi
It's funny that they'd list easy bosses as "bad bosses", since on their "worst dungeons" list, most of them aren't bad, just slightly difficult or some where you need to think.... It's quite contradictory...
Thank you! I actually like the easy bosses. I hate the ones that are especially hard because it's annoying to fight them and these are just games, they're supposed to be fun
What you've gotta understand about Armogohma is that the fight is infinitely harder when you're using one hand to partially cover your eyes while screaming in terror. I'm speaking from experience here.
Gohdan was my favorite boss just because of the atmosphere. And even if the fight itself wasn't incredible, it was still more fun than some of the other ones
Nah, true duel is also Dark Link and TP Ganon. But in MM, yes. Even Majora is either an annoying and fast puzzle or a punching bag, depending on you having a certain mask.
ArmoGohma was an amazing boss, the most difficult part was getting over arachnophobia, Twilight Princess had each boss be a designated fear so there was fear for atleast one boss for each player
You guys expect too much from Zelda Bosses, they are meant to be simple and in most cases easy, is part of Nintendo philosophy to make zelda games playable for all ages, only in recent titles nintendo began adding hero mode
There's nothing with having high expectations from a dev like Nintendo. While I'm sure there's a fair bit of planning to get a boss fight just right in a Zelda title that's supposed to be playable by all ages, some are neither particularly fun, interesting, or cool. Final Bosses, particularly, suffer from the plague of "BBG who in lore can decimate the world but in play takes a minute to beat".
I think you fundamentally missed the fact that tough dungeons give you an easier boss. The journey is difficult, so the ending is a little bit easier. It is good game design.
Gohdan really shouldn't have been on here. That's a classic boss design that everybody uses, not just Nintendo and it isn't going anywhere. Like, quit complaining about it already. It's not something you've faced time and time again, they're all different from each other. Yeah, it's a final challenge set up by the gods to test Link, so? It doesn't matter at all what that challenge looks like.
Bongo Bongo: "Gamers giving you a hard time huh"? Gohdan: "I just don't understand. The Gods created me to TEST The Player. What do they expect me to do being the 3rd Boss? Pull out ALL the Stops"!?! Andross: "Don't knock it till you've tried it..."
The one i am slightly mad about is gohdan. Even though half of it is quite similar to bongo-bongo in OoT, it honestly took me a while to know that you had to shoot it's eyes to be able to toss the bomb in its mouth. Also the theme is a banger
For Odolwa, I just saw the bombs on the side of the room, threw them at Odolwa, and the fight was over. I think it took about 30 seconds. I definitely didn’t expect the bombs to work…but there you go
Amusingly, hitting him with just 2 bombs from his arena is all you need to beat him. They're much stronger than the ones you can carry (at least in the N64 version).
Honestly, I would've picked the giant fish boss from Majora's Mask. I do understand it's not a bad boss, just crushingly difficult to console breaking levels of frustrating
@@milesprower3854 Yeah I like the idea too, but it definitely lacks in ways that it can attack you. Like come on, it should throw huge water blobs or waves at you or SOMETHING. Apparently they thought hook-shotting the amoeba out of an arm while it's slooooowly trying to grab you was such a good idea that they copy pasted the mechanic for the first half of the Morpheel fight in twilight princess.
I'm really digging this format of picking 1 example from each game in a series of games based on a single topic ie worst boss in every LoZ game, scariest moments in each RE game, etc. Keep em coming.
I think the big green chuchu is a great concept for a boss in a game about shrinking. Like they pretty much had to do it, chuchus are the most common enemy in the game and now because your small they are an actual threat
don't forget how Gohdan isn't helped by the fact that you don't have to worry about conserving arrows or bombs as the boss will just sneeze out (ew) more when you run out
Im sorry, but how is Gyorg NOT worse than Odalwa?! For the first boss of ANY game, Odalwa is intense and fast pace and a test of where your abilities are. Gyorg, is just a fish that is insanely easy and boring and SOMEHOW got worse in the 3D remake
@@carlosaponte2349 I don’t blame this person at all. Many people absolutely hated the Water Temple, Dark Link, and Morpha as a whole segment. I think it’s just a sign that the game starts getting tougher towards the end. And besides, Ocarina of Time is a beautiful game, regardless of how hard some parts might be.
I don't have a problem with Armogohma as a boss fight. My issue is that he was a final boss fight for the Temple of Time. I was expecting something more awe inducing or somebody that would challenge you with a sword like Darknut.
If you ask me, Mothula is worse than Moldorm. Moldorm may be annoying, but it's not that tough. Mothula's entire arena floor consists of a moving conveyor belt that changes directions at random, and the conveyer belt also moves spikes around, which over time is very annoying. And it's projectiles aren't that much better, either.
I disargee with Armogohma being the worst boss in Twilight Princess. Even though it may be a bit easier than some other bosses(which i don't think is true). I think the atmosphere is one of the best. Its just this dark room and then theres Armogohma hanging on the ceiling and Link just walked under it. I remember when i was younger and got to this boss, I felt a cold shiver down my spine just because of the imagination of walking under such a big spider while not knowing its there. Maybe it could be because i'm very afraid of spiders. But I would have chose the first or second boss to be the worst. But overall i like Armogohma as a boss very much.
I predicted Moldarach to be their entry for Skyward Sword because it got demoted to regular enemy later in the game, but I had completely forgotten the Imprisoned existed, so I gotta agree with that. "So bad I forgot it existed" trumps "so bad it got demoted"
Wind waker made the final challenge of the gods the classic 3D nintendo boss battle, I respect that. Plus he looks cool. Given that there has almost never been zelda bosses whose weak spots were hard to find anyways, I dont think its a bad one
Really...? ODOLWA is your choice for worst boss in Majora's Mask? You can have plenty of fun experimenting to find many ways of doing damage. Gyorg is not just the worst boss of this game but certainly one the worst bosses of all time.
I thought the green Chu-Chu was actually a pretty cool idea to illustrate the scale of things. The player usually expects the boss to be pretty big, but since you're so small now, a regular Chu-Chu that you would're normally killed in two hits is now a giant.
This list is very disappointing. Master Kohga is supposed to be a humorous fight, but you guys take it way too seriously. The Imprisoned fights are super easy and I had so much fun with them. The Imprisoned isn’t supposed to look super scary because it shows how much weaker Demise is in that form.
An easy fight due to an item or mechanic doesnt make it horrible. Final Boss in Final Fantasy Mystic Quest can be killed by a phoenix down. Same thing was able to be done to a boss in Final Fantasy 8 in the beginning. Some bosses just have a weakness that needs to be exploited. Using elemental weakness to the boss fights in Mega Man can make for nearly easy fights. Am I wrong with this line of thinking?
@@silverman1205 yet, still haven’t pointed anything to contradict the argument I was making. Instead offered a personal opinion about one of the games mentioned. I have played every final fantasy game yet thoroughly enjoy mystic quest. May have been a glitch yet still have a choice to use or not. Was it a glitch in FF 8? If a mechanic is there then it’s a players choice to use it or not. Doesn’t make the boss bad through that alone
@@debreas6207 I wasn't trying to dismiss your point. I agree with you that a fight being easy due to an exploit or mechanic does not make it a bad fight.
Okay so...Odolwa on this list is a travesty. It should be Twinmold. They're two enormous sandworms that just sort of bumble around and bump into you. You get the Giant's Mask to put yourself on better ground, but that's basically the only time you get to use it. It's very gimicky. Twinmold has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with Ikana Canyon, the lore of the game or the Stone Tower itself. Just bad across the board. Also, the fight is long and boring. Odolwa, at least, is fairly fast and intimidating, especially for a first boss.
Odolwa well that’s true compared to the others he falls short in gameplay I guess. But not on the first play, I felt very acomplished, same with the Oot boss since I played when I was pretty young and age of no internet to help
My personal pick for Skyward Sword is Moldarach, this guy is just extremely underwhelmingly easy, and visually unimpressive. It’s literally just a scorpion with eyes on his claws, when I fought him today he literally didn’t do any damage to me because of how easy this guy was, then after you beat him the sand goes down and you desperately hope for a second phase, nope, that was it. I really hoped the boss of this dungeon would be something like an ancient mech that pilots the entire security system of the temple whose weak points you need to uncover with your magic Wind thingy, but no, just a scorpion
Odolwa is actually a damn good bossfight. Proof yall don't know what you're talking about. If you like doing the same thing 3 times to then kill the boss over an unpredictable fight where you actually have multiple tools at your disposal but the item you got in the same temple you're really delusional
I'm sorry, but Gohdan can't be the worst boss in wind waker. Yes, I know the whole hand thing is a bit overused in Nintendo games, but that doesn't mean the fight is bad. The atmosphere is incredible and the music is a bop. It even changes depending on what stage of the fight you're in. And even though the fight itself isn't super complex or unique or difficult, it's still fun, especially if you do the whole thing aiming manually with your bow. It isn't nearly as bad as, say, Kalle Demos or of course the insanely underwhelming Helmaroc king *Also we all know this by now but Gyorg has got to be the worst Zelda boss in existence why was he left out*
I hated the 2 giant eyeball snake flying things you get a mask to become giant link and fight them in the MM 3D. It takes needlessly long. Don’t think it counts for this list tho since it’s only like this in the remake.
HOnestly I strongly disagree with your assessment of Armogohma on account that there are people and Zelda fans who were genuinely given fearful vibes of arachnophobia during that boss fight.
I don’t think the imprisoned is supposed to be very intimidating or much of an intense fight, it’s more just to show the progression of its power as your greatest enemy grows while you do (IMO)
I love how Moldorm is one of the hardest and worst bosses entirely because of how much getting knocked off the arena irritated the holy hell out of us.
"Sentient Swimming Pool" couldn't be a more appropriate description of Ocarina's least interesting boss (easily). Also, I don't care what anyone else says...I like The Imprisoned encounters and I think it's design is awesome!
Kinda feel bad for the ppl that didn't play oot till the 3DS cause there's a chance they expected to see a water dragon as boss cause of all the golden dragon artwork through out the dungeon only to get a germ in a swimming pool
I readily admit that I have not played all these Zelda games. But I have to take issue with one of the boss's mentioned. The iron knuckle guy on the charging horse from Zelda 2, that thing was damned hard for me when I played it as a kid. In fact I hated all the iron knuckle creatures that I would run into throughout the game. The hardest boss in that particular Zelda game, for me, was the boss who had the mace at the end of the green dungeon, level 5. That thing was deadly.
The 3ds remakes didn't actually change a lot. Majora did change up small aspects of some fights and majorly changed the boss in the stone tower temple but ocarinas 3D remake was basically exactly the same
Personally, some I disagree with. Mainly, two of them and they're from my favorite games: Ocarina of Time: While Morpha is indeed a letdown and seems to really not make sense (Like, seriously. Why is an ameba responsible for Zora's Domain to freeze over when it doesn't have ice powers?), one is even more of a miss-matched letdown - King Dodongo. Reason: Normal dodogos are tougher! Dodongos are weak to having their tails hit, but their faces act as shields. They're able to spin for a tail sweep and getting them to actually eat a bomb is harder than simply facing them head-on. King Dodongo's weak point is his... face. The part that's supposed to be hardened. A giant dinosaur that should be even more tough-scaled is softer, somehow. And he dies in 4 hits, making his dodongo hide only slightly tougher than Gohma's eyeball, a very reasonably squishy area. My idea for a fix: King Dodongo's whole body - even his tail - should be super hard, but after he swallows a bomb, it blows up, he should tip over sideways and your shot should be his swollen, now tender belly and strike it multiple times before he gets back up. The rest of the fight can stay the same, but he should at least appear to be the strongest of the dodongos. Majora's Mask: Odolwa does have the least HP of the bosses and you can indeed hide from the attacks in Deku form, but Odolwa is also the first boss, so I can't be too hard on him. He actually can be pretty tough if you're not used to him. Summoning bugs that can swarm and you not know how to deal with it? He's rather chaotic, and that chaos can be disorienting. I think he's pretty fair as a boss, balancing his tricks with the availability of your own in that regard. My pick? Goht. Reason: You chase after him as a rolling Goron and... that's it. He kicks boulders and drops bombs. It doesn't even feel like an actual fight, just you trying to not get knocked away. It's more like a race of infinite loops and your opponent is a heavy cheater. A good boss for a racing game, but a racing game, this is not. Goht is a giant mechanical bull. The LEAST you could do is have it charge at you and you trick it to run into stuff. And it also has no connection with ice either, so how's it responsible for freezing the Gorons? (I'm seeing a theme here) My fix would be to have it an open arena area with pillars at the walls. Maybe you need to do the Goron rolling bit to hurt it enough to knock it over. Then once it gets up, it charges up its lightning attacks, avoid those. Then it lowers its head and charges for you. Line yourself up at one of the pillars and when it crashes into said pillar, it crumbles and rocks from the roof fall on it. I don't know, I'm just spitting ideas out there. They KINDA fixed some of my issue with the fight in the 3DS version, given you have to hit an eye to actually HURT the boss, making it feel more like you're getting something more accomplished, but the fact it's still like a race where your foe races dirty, it's still got the same problems. Or! Opposite idea, why not go all the way with the race idea and make it so by running into Goht as a Goron, you slow it down so you can get ahead? While ahead, you now have a chance to reach some obstacles first for it to trip over, get things dropped on it and such? So it's like, whoever's ahead gets to lay the traps? That could be another way to fix it. Just make the theme go both ways? Just me spitballin' ideas. While Odolwa might be "easy", Goht's just not fun to fight.
Twilight Princess is a game that hits really high and low points for me. I loved the dark creepiness, especially early on AND it has two of my favorite dungeons in the whole series: Snowpeak Ruins and the Arbiter's Grounds. However, despite the highs of SR and the AG, there are two dungeons so unenjoyable that I honestly can't believe they were made by the same team. The Palace of Twilight was always (to me) immensely disappointing, especially after the buildup it had been getting throughout the game. Now, I'm not talking about the boss fight. While Zant was...unexpected, I DO actually enjoy that battle. But, so much of that dungeon was just big, empty rooms. This was supposed to be the Twili's PALACE! As a race of shadowy beings descended from dark mages banished from Hyrule I expected great things! Yet, it's as well-decorated as a test chamber from Portal! EVEN GANONDORF HIRED AN INTERIOR DECORATOR FOR HIS TOWER IN OCARINA OF TIME! **Ahem** But the dungeon I'm here to rant about today is the Temple of Time. Now, while it WAS much more interesting in design, it falls short to me for two reasons. First, I think it was crushingly linear, especially when you're walking that big statue around. The second reason is more...abstract. Throughout most of the level, you're exploring this pristine, polished, majestic temple. But... every now and then, you'll come across a room that is decidedly NOT pristine, polished, and majestic. Those rooms will be dark, and dirty, and look like a REAL dungeon or torture chamber. This gave me an impression that just beneath this shining, holy, gilded surface was something foul and dark, and I LOVED that! When I got to the final hallway before the boss and found it to be another dungeon-y looking room, complete with swinging blades and pits that would've been right at home in the Arbiter's Grounds, I was thinking, 'Oh man this is IT, the Dark Secret of the Temple of Time!' I was ready for something in keeping with this theme like... a giant holy construct used to commit inquisition-style atrocities in the name of "righteousness", like an evil Gohdan; or perhaps the remains of some twisted experiment done on behalf of the Royal Family! Instead...I got a spider. And, it wasn't even an interesting fight. Arrow to the eye, swat it with a statue, repeat. When the main body went away for the second phase I was all 'Ah-hah! Here comes the real fight!' But no, that was it. The second phase is basically just 'chase down the eyeball spider that is no longer a threat to you. Don't worry, it only runs away.' What I wouldn't have given for that last fight to be a Dark Link battle.
Odolwa is practically the first major boss of Majora's Mask, so putting him on this list for being easy is rather dumb and inconsiderate of the fact that a lot of players expect the first bosses of games to be relatively easy and simple compared to the other bosses. Also, the whole point of Kohga's fight in Breath of the Wild is that he's an absolute joke of a characater.
Odolwa as worst MM boss? Did you even play it all the way through? Gyorg is SOOOOO much fucking worse. It's just Angler Fish but it vomits young and Benjamin Buttons itself upon death
So that means you can't use first person shooting mode? Shocking... Never had an issue with the camera, first time actually I've ever seen saying that, usually people say other stuff like how stupidly easy is the fight, never about the camera.
@@carlosaponte2349 no like you have to z-target it and use the Zora boomerang but it goes down to such a sharp angle from you that it breaks the lock on meaning there's chunks of the fight that could be small or that could be huge where it's actually impossible to do anything to it.
@@TheMadSocrates I'm sensing that you really take your time while z targeting, it's just press throw boomerangs and let go, into the water. Not that hard, I never had issues with the camera, and like I said you're the first one to have such issues and not something gamers complain about, but the nono difficulty in the boss itself, I think it's you in this case, not the game or the boss fight.
@@carlosaponte2349 when I first played MM on N64, Gyorg gave me HELL with the camera. I was young at the time, but the problem does exist (that's not even touching the 3DS disaster of that boss)
I loved Digdogger as a kid. When I first fought him, I had no Nintendo Power, internet to cheat, game genie, or friends with the game to ask how to beat him. It was classic trail and error. I was very young, I recall thinking "I give up, I'm going to try every item I have." Sadly, I have never had that awesome feeling again in gaming because I'm already expecting it.
The chu chu is not a bad boss just because it's a regular monster. It's a bad boss because there is a better version of it as a miniboss in one of the later temples.
Twilight Princess actual worst boss? Morpheel. It's first stage is just Morpha but stationary, and its second stage DOESNT EVEN DO ANYTHING. It just swims around in circles, waiting for you to clawshot onto its back and stab it to death with your sword! Not only that, but that stage takes more hits, meaning you have to do it for longer! So annoying and boring! At least Armogohma shot lasers at you through the fight and spawned babies to attack you
I was hoping you’d do a special mention of Majora’s Mask 3D. I don’t even have to name the boss for everyone to know what I’m referring to. Simply put, why did they change how the Giants Mask worked 😭
I'd say Morpha was a bad boss not because it was easy (which it was), but it felt out of place compared to the rest of the bosses in the game. The others had some back story tied to the game, Morpha was like a last minute creation as if the zelda team forgot to create a water temple boss just before finalizing the game.
Keep in mind the Imprisoned looks DUMB because he's a mostly sealed Demon king whom was more than likely made to look dumb by a Goddess :P And I still thought some of these fights were fun. Poor Angler Fish, I could strike him before he even spoke and kill him within 4 seconds... then go back up without collecting the heart container and do it again... and again... and again... effectively trapping the poor thing in an endless death loop!

yeah this was worst for me only because it looks to much like a real spider. But I think morpheel was annoying in that game
i stopped playing twilight princess for YEARS just because of that spider
💯 Straight facts. For me, it was barely being able to hold the Wii remote correctly because my hands were sweating. 😂
I found the regular skulltulas from forest temple to be much creepier honestly. Armogohma just looked kind of absurd
5:04 I’m sorry, but have your just FORGOTTEN that Gyorg exists!?
gyorg was great!
I mean, to be fair, we try to. But, we all know Gyorg exists. It's just better to ignore the atrocity.
At least Master Kohga had a unique setting and situation. I would take 10 bosses like that instead of another version of Blight Ganon.
I really wish botw had more interesting bosses instead of the same boss repeated 4 times with different styles
Gohdan however uninspired, was still a worthwhile experience. For that matter, so was The Tower of the Gods as a whole.
Gohdan was my favorite boss just because of the atmosphere. And even if the fight itself wasn't incredible, it was still more fun than some of the other ones
Yeah that shocked me for sure. Tower of the Gods is definitely my favorite. It’s everything Bongo Bongo should of been. (Not knocking Bongo Bongo).
Seriously. I'd say the Big Poe or Flower thing were worse bosses.
To make Odolwa more interesting, fight him with just a sword and shield, it makes it the only boss in the zelda series that feels like a true "fight".
True, I did that everytime I fought him
Agreed tbh loved every boss in majora's mask...all be it the water Temple boss...even the 3DS remake the fish was boring
@@IrishBrotato 😂 the fish was boring.
@@robertrogers074 lol can never remember the name but fr man it's so freaking boring 😅
I've never thought of it like that tbh
How did armagohma beat morpheel for TP? Morpheel literally just swims around doing nothing, it only attacks you if you swim in front of it
You guys expect too much from Zelda Bosses, they are meant to be simple and in most cases easy, is part of Nintendo philosophy to make zelda games playable for all ages, only in recent titles nintendo began adding hero mode
Exactly, and specailly final bosses, which are the worst thing in every zelda game, no challenge or difficulty.
@@BrotagonalZenithine saw this and instantly thought of Andross lol
Who else has re-used this design as much as Nintendo?
@@Howitchewstofeel5gum Literally TONS of other video game companies. It's a common video game boss design in general.
@@chrange9714 And yet, you somehow cannot name a single one.
Remember the easiest bosses come from the hardest temples, specially the water Temple ugh.
“Boss isn’t tough” -proceeds to their ass handed to them every time.
Honestly, I would've picked the giant fish boss from Majora's Mask. I do understand it's not a bad boss, just crushingly difficult to console breaking levels of frustrating
4:10-5:04 I actually thought Morpha to be very interesting. A water demon made of water itself, that’s a great concept.
Great idea terrible execution
@@milesprower3854 Yeah I like the idea too, but it definitely lacks in ways that it can attack you. Like come on, it should throw huge water blobs or waves at you or SOMETHING. Apparently they thought hook-shotting the amoeba out of an arm while it's slooooowly trying to grab you was such a good idea that they copy pasted the mechanic for the first half of the Morpheel fight in twilight princess.

Kohga's fight is super easy but the fight is still good because of how funny Kohga's character is
And you actually have to use your items
The Masked Fish Boss(forgot its name)from Majora's Mask: AM I A JOKE TO YOU?
Its Gyorg
I'm really digging this format of picking 1 example from each game in a series of games based on a single topic ie worst boss in every LoZ game, scariest moments in each RE game, etc. Keep em coming.
I think the big green chuchu is a great concept for a boss in a game about shrinking. Like they pretty much had to do it, chuchus are the most common enemy in the game and now because your small they are an actual threat
You did not just put Master Kohga on the list. I will not have my boi be so insulted
don't forget how Gohdan isn't helped by the fact that you don't have to worry about conserving arrows or bombs as the boss will just sneeze out (ew) more when you run out
Remember that that boss is not when I can admit it supposed to be a test and so wants to be fair to link by providing them with arrows
@WiiGuy2014 on top of that I would rather not get softlocked
Im sorry, but how is Gyorg NOT worse than Odalwa?! For the first boss of ANY game, Odalwa is intense and fast pace and a test of where your abilities are. Gyorg, is just a fish that is insanely easy and boring and SOMEHOW got worse in the 3D remake
I feel like Morpha was an apology from Nintendo for making the Water temple so crappy.
It's 2021, still crying about water temple? C'mon....
Honestly master Kohga is the best joke boss to encounter even though he's not the best one to fight.
Odolwa isn't hard to beat at all
*proceeds to show footage of Link getting absolutely bullied by Odolwa*
With Kohga's fight the difficulty comes from timing if your bad at it it will be annoying
Might as well do a list on top 10 Nintendo head and hands bosses; so much to choose from
I don't have a problem with Armogohma as a boss fight. My issue is that he was a final boss fight for the Temple of Time. I was expecting something more awe inducing or somebody that would challenge you with a sword like Darknut.
There was a miniboss for this
I would’ve preferred a kind of super darknut ig with the spider as the mini
8:42 Super Mario 64 just called, they want Eyerok back
I thought of Eyerok when I saw that boss tbh
Stop hating on Master Kohga, he was a fun fight.
Finally somebody gets it about the Imprisoned. And I think it's a nice change-of-pace that this kind of Boss doesn't go directly after you
Hold up, why you put Odolwa instead of Gyorg?
I can't understand that. He's on the contrary the only kinda memorable boss in the game. My personal choice for worse goes to Twinmold.
I mean... most of Mystic Quest isn't exactly good anyway... and I am pretty sure it was said that using heal on him to kill him was a glitch.
2:00 "Really, easy. You just jump and down thrust."
* Proceeds to get hit by the boss multiple times *
Gyorg is always worse
@3:58 I think saying "it's very easy to avoid" and showing a clip of getting hit by the attack doesn't go well together.
To me, Odalwa is the 2nd best boss in the game (Majora is clearly first)
If anything, Gyorg is the worst boss in Majora's Mask
This boss is on the list because it's easy. So boring. This boss is on the list because it's hard. So unfair.
"he is just a fish, a big one, but just a fish"
Yeah, well tell that to Gyorg....
*watching a video of a kids game series

I would say dark beast ganon is more of a let down then master koga in breath of the wild
"Just an Iron Knuckle" from Zelda 2?? "Just" jumping and dodging on that original NES controller is easier said than done, sir
MojoPlays: Maldorm
Me: *Severely Triggered*
That was my favorite boss of Wind Waker. I look forward to it every time I replay the game.
It isn't nearly as bad as, say, Kalle Demos or of course the insanely underwhelming Helmaroc king
*Also we all know this by now but Gyorg has got to be the worst Zelda boss in existence why was he left out*
I hated the 2 giant eyeball snake flying things you get a mask to become giant link and fight them in the MM 3D. It takes needlessly long. Don’t think it counts for this list tho since it’s only like this in the remake.
just because a boss fight is easy, doesn't mean its the worst. a bad boss fight is one that is so incredibly annoying, that you just want it to end
HOnestly I strongly disagree with your assessment of Armogohma on account that there are people and Zelda fans who were genuinely given fearful vibes of arachnophobia during that boss fight.
There is a whole video about me being afraid of spiders T.T
I don’t think the imprisoned is supposed to be very intimidating or much of an intense fight, it’s more just to show the progression of its power as your greatest enemy grows while you do (IMO)
I love how Moldorm is one of the hardest and worst bosses entirely because of how much getting knocked off the arena irritated the holy hell out of us.
EVERY...SINGLE boss in Majora's Mask 3D. I liked the originals better.
Agreed. Though asides from the eye gyog was at least a little better. Not saying much though
The imprisoned is rumored to look like an avocado. If you ignore that it seems pretty great.
How about the 3ds remakes of Zelda bosses
The 3ds remakes didn't actually change a lot. Majora did change up small aspects of some fights and majorly changed the boss in the stone tower temple but ocarinas 3D remake was basically exactly the same
The only one to notably change the bosses was Majora’s Mask 3D.
T W I N M O L D.
They made his fight so unnecessary long and tedious in the remake! Also what was the thing with giving the bosses some big red eye?
@@BlooperTanooki the eye ruined the boss fights because it stripped their individuality and made the fights more predicatble
Personally, some I disagree with. Mainly, two of them and they're from my favorite games:
Ocarina of Time: While Morpha is indeed a letdown and seems to really not make sense (Like, seriously.
Personally, I'd put Goht in place of Odolwa. All you do for the Goht battle is roll around and run into it.
I remember being a kid and beating Zelda 2 without issue. Now I can’t even get past first dungeon 😂
so you're telling me that odolwa is worse than gyorg
When I got to the final hallway before the boss and found it to be another dungeon-y looking room, complete with swinging blades and pits that would've been right at home in the Arbiter's Grounds, I was thinking, 'Oh man this is IT, the Dark Secret of the Temple of Time!'
I was ready for something in keeping with this theme like... a giant holy construct used to commit inquisition-style atrocities in the name of "righteousness", like an evil Gohdan; or perhaps the remains of some twisted experiment done on behalf of the Royal Family!
Don't worry, it only runs away.'
What I wouldn't have given for that last fight to be a Dark Link battle.
No way you have ooldowa over gyorg as the worst in majoras mask
Was it just me or did it seem like if the boss wasn't close to Dark Souls level of difficulty, then they sucked
3:18 Interesting fact about the angler fish: it's female.
Only female angler fish have the bulb. Males are tiny and don't look anything like females.
Odolwa as worst MM boss? Did you even play it all the way through? Gyorg is SOOOOO much fucking worse. It's just Angler Fish but it vomits young and Benjamin Buttons itself upon death
Ah yes my least liked boss from SS
Mike Wazowski
Odolwa was a very good boss experience. The fight was very long and intensive. For me was the fish very lame, when you got infinite magic😅
Rather shocked the Majora's Mask one wasn't the one in Great Bay Temple because the camera screws you out of being able to target him.
I was very young, I recall thinking "I give up, I'm going to try every item I have."
Sadly, I have never had that awesome feeling again in gaming because I'm already expecting it.
The chu chu is not a bad boss just because it's a regular monster. It's a bad boss because there is a better version of it as a miniboss in one of the later temples.
I don’t think master koga deserves to be worst boss at least he is different from the other EXACTLY THE SAME BOSSES
At least Armogohma shot lasers at you through the fight and spawned babies to attack you
Yeah, The Lady in Tri Force Heroes was a tedious final boss for a tedious Zelda game.
Let's be honest; she's probably the worst main villain in the entire series, right? Name a worse villain than her.
@@chrislecount6212 honestly can’t think of one worse than her.
I was hoping you’d do a special mention of Majora’s Mask 3D. I don’t even have to name the boss for everyone to know what I’m referring to. Simply put, why did they change how the Giants Mask worked 😭
Gohdan feels more like a side quest miniboss than main dungeon boss.
Zelda is so epic that after 30 years of games even the worst bosses are still pretty fun (Khoga specifically).
I love his taunting and chanting it went with the boss music 😂
I'd say Morpha was a bad boss not because it was easy (which it was), but it felt out of place compared to the rest of the bosses in the game. The others had some back story tied to the game, Morpha was like a last minute creation as if the zelda team forgot to create a water temple boss just before finalizing the game.
Keep in mind the Imprisoned looks DUMB because he's a mostly sealed Demon king whom was more than likely made to look dumb by a Goddess :P
And I still thought some of these fights were fun. Poor Angler Fish, I could strike him before he even spoke and kill him within 4 seconds... then go back up without collecting the heart container and do it again... and again... and again... effectively trapping the poor thing in an endless death loop!
You mentioning some of the weakest bosses but you didn't even mention calamity Ganon
