Everything is looking awesome! Love the rock faces and the greenery. Cannot wait to see the extension all completed with scenery. Thanks for sharing and stay safe. Well wishes to your horse. Ken
Hi David , glad to see you and hope you’re doing well. Like seeing trains running on the layout. I like the progress you’ve making on the scenery. I think the color looks good. Can’t wait to see how you do with the airbrush. That’s something I would like to try down the road. I see the boss is on the job. You know hour pets make life go round. We’re just a few weeks away from fall but summer is holding on. Looking forward to seeing your next update. Thanks for sharing. Have a good week. 😎😎👍
What James below says, the rock cut looks great, plus the scenery above that adds a different feel to the scene and as you note once scenery on the lower portion is finished the whole will look "right". Thanks as usual for sharing and I'll add that what you are doing with your layout is inspirational...
I’m humbled that you find it inspiring. I’m trying to be sensible and get the top level in that section done before the area that needs trees so I’m not having to lean over scenery. It was a bit of a rookie error on my behalf doing that in the corner before if finished the mine area.
Hello David... great to see you're doing well and your health is good!!! The scenery looks beautiful, and from here in Pittsburgh, it's not that dark looking. Hope your horse has a complete recovery. Life does get in the way, but the train room will always be there.
Thanks Mike. It’s hard sometime to know when to put down the brush. I’m back to work for the next four days so it will be good to get a break from looking at it and head back to the layout with a clear pallet so to speak. Issey is a wonderful horse, very resilient, she will be fine in the end. It’s just hard when your pets are sick.
Hi David, loving the rock cut scenery effect, gonna pinch that for my railroad 🤪 as I have a LOT of vertical drops like that.... if you don't mind of course old bean! How did you get the grooves so it looks like it has been carved by a JCB, wire brush or reverse end of a pain brush? Good to see you are well and enjoying more than just the 'train room'. Best line in the video is 'My father is an avid middle of of Lidl isle shopper😜 might need to check my local store here in the UK. Stay safe bud.... Oh and I see the long coal trains are back ! 😝
Hi David - I think the escarpment looks great, love the colours on my PC, looks awesome. Very clever the way you have painted your backscreen and then placed the trees in front of it, extremely effective. On another note, regarding your job, what are you doing if you attend an electric car that's on fire? Regards Chris
Thank you for sharing what you do
Looking good David. Coming along nicely. Having a airbrush is a very important tool.Loving the running on the CN.👍cheers

Thanks Ken, I can’t wait to have it done but I think it’s going to be a big undertaking. I’ll have to start up tree production again.

Yes spot on, life can get in the way and you have to be in the mood, took me 12 years to build a loop. Love the rock wall looks really realistic.
