Stupid question: deaf people cannot communicate with other deaf people outside of their country?

they can but I believe the sign languages vary depending on the language of the country (czech sign language is different that american sign language and so on) (though I don't know any sign languages myself, so I'm not an expert on the matter ':D)

Milltastic Can you communicate with someone outside your country? Same for them, only if they also know that country sign language.

That's funny because that question was just asked to my sign language teacher at my last lesson. She said that yes, they can understand each other, but it takes time and a bit of asking for explanations before it clicks. It is easier for them to understand someone from a country far away than for us, hearing people. (English and Japanese for example)
      :)
      Have a great day :)
