Slightly sharper, less washed-out during the day (amazing that we can get such a good image facing the sun), and brighter than the previous version at night, just what i would look for in a starlight camera. Nice review!

Great comparison! You have the best camera comparisons! Daytime looks about the same other than a slightly better FOV, but night time, wow, it really looks a bit better! Too bad I just barely put the old baby ratel in two drones that fly in dark buildings.
I watched Albert Kims version of this and his footage was pretty unwatchable and did the camera no justice. Glad to see as always your reviews are on point and showed how good this camera is. I prefered the saturation of the Ratel 1 during the day but the Ratel 2 really pulls forward with low light situations.

Thank you for yet again a very useful camera review. I do like the Baby 2. The image is just a tad more clear and as you commented, is better in very low light that the older camera. I also really like the weight reduction as weight is something that I pay close attention to when building my small quads.

I was waiting around forever for this camera to come out but got too impatient and went with the nano toothless 2 starlight instead (the foxeer looks great too). Nice comparison, I wish there are ANT vs baby Ratel comparison with low light. There are person (like me) who are from cheaper ANT (ratel is double the price of ant) who wish to know how big the difference between them.

Hi, is the VTX connected to the video out pad of the FC and the camera to the camera (video in) pad? If so - try to switch between NTSC / PAL modes on Betaflight - under the OSD tab.
