Nice video man.. I have the caddx ratel which for me, is working great but I've not had chance to try it at night yet. I live in the UK and nights are drawing in now so you've inspired me to check it out..
Thanks a lot! This camera comes with a M8 lens, right? I need a much smaller FOV like 65degrees or a lens of 4mm or 6mm. Any suggestion what lens to buy for it? Foxeer hasn‘t M8 in this dimensions…Appreciate your help!
I have Foxeer Night Wolf V2 with IR and it work greate. I want to buy this one for my Eachine trashcan and You convinced me . Thanks alot. Berst regards from Poland, Lower Silesia
Hi, Great video. I’ve just installed this brilliant camera into a tinyhawk freestyle. Can you tell me how you turned off the Foxeer OSD so that I can go back to the FC please? Many thanks
I can’t remember how I did it exactly. I think the camera came with a little control board that plugs into it, and I probably used that to get into the menus and disable the OSD.
I've got the toothless 2 starlight going into my new 3.5" AxisFlying Manta (ELRS). Considering some bright leds for the drone also for underneath the arms. In theory the light will bounce off any nearby surfaces, ground etc and create a light source for the filter in the camera, theoretically lol, must test this. it might be too much for it though we shall see (it'll also look pretty cool)
Are you using a Happymodel Ep1 with the Tinyhawk? I'm having an issue with mine where the bootloaders interfere an prevent the reciever from turning on. It's an expensive paperweight now.
Killer video mate! Absolutely smashing it! I am also on the quest to make a night flyer quad! I've been playing around with ir LEDs but haven't got to use it yet, but from the tests it's quite bright and lights up a fair bit of the room I was testing in.
Interesting idea! I could see it working, although not sure how it would be for longer range flights outdoors. Would be awesome for flying through dark rooms.
A friend of mine had this camera and I tried it out at night. It was astounding! I agree with everything you said. Also, I don't think there's another nano night time camera. Right?
Excellent Video Man... Keep making Solid Content - - I recently got into SharkByte with the discounted/promotion on the VRX and after watching your SB vids plus Luke's, and Ryan Quellet's. What Radio and Radio Link do you use ?
Thank you! I’m currently using a Jumper T-Lite with the Happymodel ExpressLRS module. ExpressLRS is an incredible radio link, it’s cheap and has very good performance for latency and range. I basically never have to worry about failsafe for normal flying.
In our new "FAA rules" drone flying at night is forbidden. Which although doesn't scare folks with whoops and 3" from doing this. At least no one was caught... yet.
I appreciate that you showed how the lighting conditions looked to your eye vs the fpv cam. Nice job!
This is a quality fpv channel . Good content man I appreciate it .
This video is crispy, you've got the lighting down. Cleanest video you've made imo, Also great review noice.
Thank you!
@@ATXAirborne and totaly unrelated with fpv but your t-shirt was dope haha! Nice camera by the way
Your videos are as good or better then the big channels. You are doing great, I'm rooting for you, God bless
Thank you! I really appreciate that.
You make great video's with good information. Keep it up mate.

@@ATXAirborne thanks for the reply, I’ve tried that, but can’t see an option. I’ll have another go. Many thanks

It's an EP2, just wired to a tx/rx for one of the UARTs on the flight controller. What's failing to turn on? The flight controller or the EP1?
Dude great video 👍🏻 camera legit , thanks for info

Toothless gets bright enough but gets super grainy in dark sections. Heard the falkor 3 is better with that. Though dont belive it comes nano.
really good video
Liked and subbed.
I am a fan, your videos are awesome. you like to nerd out like I do. cheers!

You can get a waiver now if you’re part 107.
