We're running Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ tires, a 93 Octane Unitronic ECU tune, and Unitronic Stage 2 TCU tune.

@@BlownC52000 ensure the turbo screen has been replaced by running the vin. Maintenance is key! Don't buy if you can't afford it. High Quality parts/fluids and on time.
@@BlownC52000 adding to the above comment. Audi dealership will replace the screens as part of a recall. JHM makes a retrofit kit that moves the screens to a serviceable location. It’s not a small task.
Truly an amazing car. '16 S6 with the same tune here. Multiple 2000+ mile road trips the last year. Im coming to the end of my journey with this car but had the opportunity to take hwy 24 from Minturn CO. to Hwy 91 to copper mountain on a sunny day but yet there were flurries. Same tires and high rate of speed and could not believe how capable this platform is. Planted, endless torque, speed on demand all with a full ski box(Packasport 115) 9n top. Im going to miss.

How did the car feel underneath you? Steering, turn in and traction in those conditions? Looked awesome 👌
It was an absolute blast for sure! I know this term is overused, but it felt like it was on the rails. Very stable, with fantastic turn in and traction, although a little bit numb and not incredibly nimble... But that’s what you get with this kind of car, especially with a relatively long wheelbase and awd, they’re going to be a bit isolating from the road.
What did you use specifically to for the Apple car play upgrade. I see a lot of different types? How is yours and which one is It?
Put an aftermarket closed air intake. Eventuri or Integrated Engineering.

Thank you! The trans tune is great, we went with a Unitronic because I’m a big fan of their products and they are really easy to flash tune from home. I have a video coming out in the next day or two about the TCU flash.

‘18 S6 owner here. Adding the tunes, were you worried with burning the warranty for the car?
Hey! A little bit worried, but there’s a chance it won’t be detected by Audi if you un-flash your S6 before bringing it to the dealer. And at this point, the car’s going on 3 years old. I’m not sure how long the warranty is for, but the likeliness that something is going to break during warranty period is pretty low.
'16 S6 Owner here - any issues with the Uni tune? I'm waffling between that and DS1.

What type of POV setup are you using?
I’m using a GoPro Hero 8, precariously clipped to my hat. I have the media mod, which allows me to hook up a mic to the GoPro and get a little better audio than from the gopros dinky mics

It came standard on the 2018! Not sure what year they implemented it though
What car play system did you install
I actually didn’t have to install anything. It came with Apple CarPlay. Not sure if it was exclusive to the 2018 model 🤷🏼♂️

@@NotSoHandyCarGuy 😂 Why do you think they went with the V6TT instead of the V8TT in the newer models? Your opinion? I'm trying to see what the best option is for me so I'm trying to gather all the info I can.
@@Itsuhsikhworld Just a marketing strategy. I think they did it so there would be more incentive to buy a “higher end” model, like the RS6 and RS7. It’s just to differentiate the lineup. I mean, you can essentially make the S6 an RS6 by upgrading the turbos (minus the transmission of course), and people know that, and see that it’s not worth the $30,000 or whatever it is price increase to buy the RS.
