    Can you add color or change it, when the design is totally one color, like all black?

      Hello. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. If I understand your question correctly, if you Are starting with a design that is all one color, even black, you would only be able to change the design to be all one color, any color you choose. In order to add additional colors to parts of the design requires you to add run the stitch simulator and add stops where you want to change colors. I hope this answers the question.
