    Laying in bed crying because my 2 year abusive relationship just ended and I see a new Whitney video posted. I just wanted to take the time to thank you for making me feel less alone and talking about your struggles with mental health. Makes me feel less alone and puts a smile on my face.

      Aw girl don’t cry. I know it’s hard.. but I promise you will heal from all the trauma from that relationship. Eventually you will realize that the relationship ending was the best thing that could’ve happened to you. You will feel like a huge weight has been lifted from your shoulders. Just focus on yourself and getting yourself in a better mental space. One day the right person will come along. They will treat you with kindness and they will love you for you. Your life will be full of lots of happiness. I know it feels like your world has just ended but I promise you.. things will get better. Sending lots of love

    Long engagements are so normal. Pandemic or not. If you know you're going to spend forever together anyway, there's no "time wasted" in taking your time to plan. Props if you knock the engagement and wedding out in under a year but, that wasn't our style! Makes sense to me, Whitney!

    I struggle a lot with being shy and introverted too, especially in the gym and when meeting new people.🥺 Something about being in the weight lifting section is so dang intimidating and stressful for me but I hope I can overcome it some day. I’ve been told I’m boring and don’t talk enough in some social settings and that really hurts. I’m very talkative and energetic around people who make me feel comfortable & it makes me sad that there’s that other part of me that can’t just be outgoing all the time.

    • @alejandra1601
      @alejandra1601 2 года назад +1

      Nothing to be ashamed of sweetie, I am the exact same. I’m really shy but very comfortable and outgoing with my closest friends. It’s something I’m definitely working on but don’t beat yourself over it. We all have things we wish we could change or struggles we go through , being shy just happens to be our struggle lol. But everyday you can make an effort to do things outside your comfort zone and become more confident in yourself. You got this girly!

    • @maryssabradley4371
      @maryssabradley4371 2 года назад +3

      This really hits home for me too because this exact thing has happened to me… but I’ve learned that it says more about that person than it says about you. If you’re not comfortable around a person, there’s probably a reason for it. You’ll find the people that you’re meant to have in your life, and those people are always going to support you! Don’t be sad over a part of you that you can’t control. The right people will appreciate that :)

I remember when you first posted about it last year, and I've seen so many people struggle with it (myself included till date). You are a ray of sunshine for all of here on RUclips, and we love you so much Whitney! I've followed you for YEARS now. I just want to give you some hope! I got diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression at 25 years old. It was such a difficult battle. Just remember, it’s not a bad life, it’s just a bad day! I currently am 34 and no longer suffer from it and haven’t for years. This does not define you and one day it no longer will be a part of your life! It takes a lot of strength to share about it and just remember it’s ok if you’re struggling and it’s ok to admit it and it’s ok to not be ok!

Your alive program really helped me stay motivated and strong when my mental health was at its worst. Thank you for always being open and honest with us and sharing your journey. You are the most genuine and caring person. I look forward to your videos because they genuinely bring me so much happiness. Thank you for being there for us and I hope you are doing well.

    It is always so refreshing to see someone who makes the effort to be kind. It really resonated with me when she said that she tries to give others the benefit of the doubt. Everyone has their struggles and storms so it is important to understand that they may just be having a bad day. Thank you Whitney for being such a positive light in this world!

    Whitney, I sincerely hope that you feel were given this platform for a reason and that you can see the positive effect it’s having on so many other people. I have always looked up to you as a person, but when you opened up about battling depression and anxiety it brought it to a whole new level. I’ve been living with both for years now and every single time someone opens up about their struggles I feel a little weight lifted off my shoulders. I hope it helps you to talk about it to your millions of friends here on social media. I can not imagine how hard it has been to make something so personal, public. You carry yourself with such grace, but I hope you know you don’t have to seem perfect all the time, you can have bad days and be able to be transparent about that. My heart goes out to you for all that you have went through the last couple years. Keep fighting girl, we are all cheering you on. ❤️

    Thank you for speaking so candidly about mental health. I've noticed a lot of influencers that I follow are doing the same. You can't know the relief I feel when I can relate to your stories. (Any PMDD ladies out there??) Each of us can be so alone in our individual struggles, but it should never be an alienating thing. We should accept each other's stories because we all have ours...and our own stories deserve acceptance from ourselves as well.
    TLDR; keep preaching the self-love and acceptance (even when we have to dig deep) ❤

      I was diagnosed with PMDD not too longer and some weeks are just brutal and I am a completely different person. Accepting it and knowing it is only temporary helps and also hearing other people's stories and how they handle their mental health.

    Whitney, I admire what you had to say when it comes to the question addressed at 6:18. That individual was clearly expecting you to talk down to other women. Appreciate your attitude and how quickly you addressed the issue at hand, which is identifying your triggers and avoiding them when you can on social media.

    I totally know what you mean about the gym being triggering. I found out my best friend passed away while I was at the gym. I was resting between sets of Bulgarian split squats when I found out, on social media too, right before the phone call. To this day, I cannot do split squats, which is probably silly to some people, but I just can’t mentally bring myself to do them. Loved this Q&A, and always appreciate your honesty and authenticity.

      @@thatgirl_Devi I dont know your jurisdiction love so I cant say for certain how it may apply to you, this is just general thoughts from experience. Its just usually more difficult with a joint acct. People often contribute different amounts, after separation the account may stay active paying for things that both of you arent getting to use anymore, it just can get alot more complicated when it comes time to decide who gets how much. Not impossible to figure out its just more work. 🥰

    Lol the discharge! I love how real this is getting! My question for you is.... when I tried going commando, my pubic hair stubble made the fabric ball up (pilling) and it ruined my leggings! Am I the only one who has pubic hair growing in? If you can relate or give advice I’d love it - been too embarrassed to discuss this before. I have super sensitive skin and can only shave down there once every two weeks 🥶

    • @samanthaz341
      @samanthaz341 2 года назад +7

      I only shave every couple weeks too. Sometimes my pubic hair gets stuck and I just have to a little adjusting lol 😂 but that’s mainly it. Could it be the quality of the leggings? Maybe try a thicker material? It’s definitely so nice to go commando and I know there are leggings they sell with built in gussets that could help provide an extra layer of protection down there. You could also try sticking a panty liner on the gusset! I guess it’s just a matter of if you feel comfortable going commando.
