I love your videos. I can understand your thoughts on BMI and that is absolutely true. I think the reality lies somewhere in the mid path. Some swear their lives on BMI, others completely ignore BMI and think they are healthy but are actually not. I think BMI has to be considered but also other indicators like strength and fat % also need to be considered

Good question. It does, absolutely it does. I train in MMA and my coach makes me train in these explosive movements. Olympic weightlifters and powerlifters also do these dynamic effort training.

Hi, I am 74 kgs with 5'9" height. I am having slightly more muscle than a beginner (as I am going to gym on and off). I am estimating by body fat percentage to be around 25%-28% . And currently I am planing to do strength training at least 4 days a week, along with decent walk ~8000 steps everyday along with 120g of protein everyday with overall calories around 2000 per day.
Would this be the best approach in my case?

Going on peds is bad for normal fitness if you not wanna compete hain please don't use peds for powerlifting as in that game you win naturally just requires more work and right age is when you are well settled and you have your kids as many teenagers who took peds then suffer from many problems and hard to produce test 😢

But what i studied from acsm its say obese are the one who are equal or greater then 30kg/m2 and further as we go up there are different classes of obesity like classes. And calling 22% percent obese isn't fair he is more in overweight
Most importantly, have patience.I started as a skinny fat guy and it took me about a year to see visible changes.
Also don't ignore exercises that move the body through space especially chin ups
