Anthro wolf link really suits this art style and world. Which makes a lot of sense considering species like rito, zora, zonai, etc exist.

This fits better than the original link, mainly because botw link is a feral child so this isn’t really far off.
I hate when games are super expressive but then you slap a dog head on them, taking the time to make sure they sync up correctly and all that, and the expressions get even more of a chance to shine.

You know what? I respect that. If you’re gonna tease the idea of anthro, you gotta do it right. Putting in that extra effort of making skin mods/cosmetics sync with the actions and movement. Granted, it’s not always worth the time and resources depending on the experience, (and that’s totally fine) but when people do it, it’s always nice to see.

Absolutely perfect the only thing I would change would be to make the hair accessories visible. Hair tie, hylian hood, etc. (making suggestions based on this trailer because idk how to install)
thank you for your suggestion. technically, it could be implemented, but it would further increase the workload. in order to finish this mod in an acceptable term, we've made some compromises on some armor that all armor are only attached to the default body, the body won't change when changing armor.
I wanna see this Link get picked up by someone larger then him. Like any Gerudo or any Zora, or any other race than Hylian because I see him a doggie and I would appreciate that.

This is insanely well done. I was expecting a static mesh, but the fact it had facial animations for the cut scenes too is incredible. Well done! 👏🏻
I still can't get over how clean this mod is. I'm not exaggerating that this anthro TOTK design is legit my second favourite Link design EVER
Honestly, I kinda like the idea. Not necessarily just because "Furry" as cute as that is; but just the idea that the hero could be someone of another race for a change.

The physics and movement with his anthro design looks amazing! Even the clothing for the anthro build is clean af. The art style of this game fits so well with it too. That’s some serious talent man. Hats off to ya ♥️👍

To expand on that. It would be cool to see Link transform into a different animal for each new ability, like a squirrel for getting into high and small places, for example.

I don’t have a Wii and I wouldn’t be the target audience of this mod, but I can see how much effort the mod author put into it. Looks like all the animations and even cutscenes work right.

This isn't 2007 boy. Nintendo made the Wii U (Entire own console) in 2012 and the Switch in 2017 and soon they are going to release a new console next year or the year after that. everyone's furry, no one sees a furry without releasing dopamine and oxytocin in their head, it just the thing of loving which side more ;)
i think it's possible for your wishes to come true, but i only familiar with character switching. maybe you can have some other modders who are good at changing the game logics and rules. if you done, those mods can work together with the pupper.
@cynocains have you considered modding some of the npcs into animals ?

This fits better in the world then the original character with all the other creatures they are reviling. Nintendo should consider this as a skin add-on.
Very good mod. I’ve played it, and he’s super cute! You can tell there was a lot of effort put into animations and such, potentially unlike some other player model mods. Just hope that some more of the armors come eventually.

The MOMENT that i saw that the legs were digitigrade (with proper animations so it didn’t look weird) I was 100% impressed, and that’s not even taking into account how expressive the face model is during the cutscenes!
Something I thought would be fun is if link looked all normal and Hylian up until he’s revealed with the new arm and then BAM- he’s suddenly the first generation of the wolf people race in Hyrule lol
you can play the prologue without using this mod, save at the last place you can, then active the mod and play from there

Have you considered adding wolf claws/paw pads to his hand? I know every person does anthro hands differently but I think a more wolfy left hand would be a nice detail
i'm not sure if having the claws on both hands look different is good looking, but I can give it a try :)
I don't plan to add paw pads to his hand. in order to fit the bones, his fingers could not be too thick, and adding beans to the slender fingers doesn't seem pleasing to me.
it looks AMAZING and im gonna get a TOTK emulator just because of this mod, but why is the tail compleatly stiff
the former version is using totally different way from the beta version to implement the body, and the tail physics is not that easy to do as beta version. we're still trying to make the tail movable.

The 1 thing about Nintendo soon releasing a new console that saddens me is that its going to halt the modding community of their games until that console is hacked/emulated
Amazing work
Only things I can say for sure are missing are more flowing tail movement on running (the tail does look stiff in shape as it wags back and forth), and the tail moving when it free fall, since it's not moving at all when diving. Once those are done up, this'll look like it flawlessly is woven in.
the tail is still wip, that’s a challenge :3
As a Furry I see this as an absolute win.

You could've slapped a model in the game and leave ot there, but the fact that you added simple things like facial animations and other little details makes this mod way better!
This Wolf Link looks cool, almost like Wolf Mong.
